I ordered delivery from angora today and was pretty disappointed. I ordered a caesar wrap and it was probably the most disgusting sandwich I’ve ever tried. I ended up just throwing it away after trying just a few bites and grabbing lunch elsewhere. The wrap itself was hard and not soft like most tortilla wraps are; it had the consistency of a wrap that had been left out in the open for a few days until it hardened. The caesar dressing itself was extremely thick and more like a mayonaise sauce then a typical creamy caesar dressing. The wrap was barely filled with lettuce, though it did have a good amount of croutons and parmesan cheese. Overall extremely dissapointed and I will not be ordering from them again. The only good thing about them was the milkshake; I did enjoy that, and based on the reviews praising their Froyo I’m guessing that angora café should just stick with the froyo and drinks side. The food, however, was just horrid. Which is a shame because I was hoping to find another place that does a good job with one of my favorite foods, and one of the simplest to make; a good caesar wrap.

Got a quick bite after a yoga class. The place was empty but it was a Sunday morning in an area heavily populated by BU students. I too, would still be in bed if I was in college. Ordered a simple scrambled egg, mozzarella, and avocado breakfast sandwich($ 4.75) and an iced coffee. Food came out quickly. The eggs were nice and fluffy and the cheese was completely melted. The sandwich came with roasted potatoes on the side. It was kind of like home fries with just salt and pepper as seasoning. A little bit on the hard side. Their menu is extensive and they also offer soups, wraps, paninis, soothies, and frozen yogurt. I’ll have to come back to try the other things.

I love their frozen yogurt :) I like to mix really random things with each other and there was never a time that I was against what the outcome was! The price can be really steep– I had the no sugar base with peppermint white chocolate, green tea, blueberry and coconut&fudge cookie and the total was $ 10.25… Yikes!

I’ve worked in this area for quite a while and I’ve gone to Angora many times. First of all, the froyo is great. So many toppings and options, plus it’s super cheap. The food always seems fresh and I’ve never had any issues. until today. I somehow miscommunicated what I wanted and ended up with double orders… I was in a hurry so I didn’t have time to correct the issue, but I think their menu change made things a little more confusing for me. I asked about a Caesar wrap, ordered it, and then somehow ordered an additional wrap using a little card and whiteboard marker. I thought I was specifying on the Caesar wrap I ordered, but apparently I was just adding another food item. I tried to clarify with the woman behind the counter and she just agreed with everything I said so I thought we were on the same page, but we weren’t. Silver lining: I don’t have to worry about dinner! I’m a bit surprised by the super negative reviews. Yes, Angora isn’t the finest cuisine in Boston, but it’s really decent fresh food at a low price. I think someone complained about the size of chicken pieces. Come on, that’s ridiculous. Their low-carb and healthy options are super convenient, too.

Sandwich looked nothing like the pictured one in the menu which was super disappointing. The turkey was rubbery and low quality and the sandwich was tasteless in general. Maybe their froyo is better

Went last weekend for the first time. Ordered a soy chai and it was cold and needed to be rewarded and want very good. Ordered two cakes — chocolate and tiramisu — and both were very disappointing. The condiments/fruits for the frozen yogurt were not very fresh looking, glad I didn’t order. Will not return.

Very pricy for what it is. The food is ok. Frozen yogurt is awesome though, there are a lot of options. The dessert is the only thing I’d go in there for.

One of the most inconsistent food places I have ever been to. Which is a shame, because it could be a lot better. I order the same wrap once or twice a week and most times the sandwich is made differently. Meaning the wrap is pressed in a panini hot press or not, different ingredients, dressing or no dressing, or sometimes a completely different sandwich than I ordered like today. I have walked back my office several times to find out I have something different than is on their menu and what I paid for. I have food allergies and have had to throw out the wrap because I didn’t have time to walk back. Other times I have walked back and didn’t receive a refund, just a new sandwich. Today will be the last time I order from Angora. They are incredibly and comically inconsistent and the staff are not trained properly. A different person makes my sandwich each week which may be part of the reason. It’s too bad because it could be a lot better and I would go there twice a week. Management needs to put some processes in place and train the staff before I go back and spend my money on their products. Making sandwiches and wraps isn’t that difficult.

Came here last night with my girlfriend. Used to love this place back in em college days because of those college coupon books. They have the BOGO flat bread pizza deal. Sad to say their pizza quality has downgraded. They no longer have the Swiss ham pizza which I loved. Really wasn’t impressed with their greentea froyo either. Lady friend thinks the waitress was rude for her lack of customer service. If you insist on trying their flat bread pizzas, try the barbecue chicken one. That is by far the best out of all the rest.

I don’t know what the hype is about. When I first moved to Boston 6 years ago… Everyone was raving about Angora, especially their froyo. However, lately I’ve noticed that they are trying to remarket themselves to attract the growing health-nut community in Boston. We tried the: 1. BBQFLATBREADPIZZA(no feta, added pineapple):(3⁄5) tasteless and so flat. The flat bread was so thin it couldn’t hold the condiments on top that it would break in our hands every time we went grab a slice. But the pineapple was super fresh. 2. CALIFORNIAAVOCADOPANINI on ITALIANBREAD: my friend got this and she said it was terrible. The chicken was so THICK and hard to swallow because it was un-chewable and inedible. So disappointed…(1/5) Maybe we should have stuck to the froyo… Personally, I would advise saving your money or sticking with just the froyo/smoothie offerings.

If your girlfriend says something like«omg I love angora I used to have it all the time ahhhh» and asks if you can drive her there just save her the dissatisfaction and say no 3 times I have been here, three times I have had an upset girlfriend. First time we got delivery and it took about 2 and a half hours when they said 40 minutes, after 1 and a half hours we called. Asked if our food was coming, and they promised it was on the way! It took another hour, we aren’t even 15 minutes away. Personally I though the food was ok, but nothing bother getting with so many better options in boston.

Everytime I’ve been into Angora, I’ve been impressed. The people who work here are super nice, especially the man I was greeted by today. I asked him what his favorite bowl was and he gave me a great recommendation of the falafel bowl to go. It’s a generous portion with lots of fresh mixed greens, roasted veggies, falafel, red pepper hummus and feta cheese. My only complaint is that the falafel is a bit dry, but I think if there was some dressing on the salad that may correct that issue. Overall, I’m impressed and I will definitely be back!

I got the Sunny California wrap and it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary and certainly nothing better than what I could have made myself, but it wasn’t bad. I went on a slow weeknight and it took surprisingly long, even considering it was toasted(although I wish I’d known they toast the wraps because I would have asked for it cold because warm avocado shouldn’t be a thing). I did like the variety of smoothies they offered and I’ll definitely want to come in again and try one!

Got a soy frozen yogurt with Oreo and I was so impressed. It was«soy» delicious and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Oreo was not merely sprinkled on top but mixed in with the fro-yo. There were many options for regular and soy frozen yogurt which is awesome for everyone. Seating was plentiful and the outside seating is particularly lovely. I enjoyed this spot very much and will definitely come back soon.

I can’t say enough good things about Angora Café. Everything I’ve ordered has been fresh and delicious. I haven’t actually visited in person so I can’t attest to that aspect. Every time I’ve ordered through GrubHub. My favorite smoothie is the Bananarama. Froyo, banana, oatmeal and honey. I highly recommend it. Along with that, I usually order the«make your own» salad. I load it with healthy ingredients and the portions are very generous. Last time I tried the Mediterranean plate with tabouli, hummus, falafel and a Greek salad It was really good and I’d definitely order it again. One thing I really appreciate is that the items here are much healthier than normal for these kind of places. They genuinely make an effort in that area.

Angora Café offers a variety of ice cream flavors as well as different toppings including fresh fruits and some of your favorite chocolates and candies. You can pretty much ask for whatever you want and they will mix your topping directly into your ice cream. I would say Angora Café pretty much does what other frozen yogurt places do except they do it with ice cream instead of frozen yogurt. Some of my friends absolutely love this place but I think this place is just average. There is nothing really special or unique about their ice cream or the way they prepare their ice cream. If you are in the area and you are looking for a simple dessert place, then this would be the spot to go to. If you are looking for something more than just average, I would recommend driving a couple more blocks down and go to some of the places on Harvard Ave in the Allston area.

What a nightmare. I came here because the bae was stoked about this place and I may need to reevaluate our relationship. Atmospherically the place is a little skeezy, kind of like the town pizza joint. It’s not well lit, the tables are dirty, and it’s not somewhere you want to stay longer than you have to. When I walked in there was a backlog of incorrect orders for froyo and food. It should have been my first sign to leave. The menu for froyo was huuggee and fully of candy flavors and so I didn’t bother. I ordered a steak and argula flatbread and a half hour later I was served peppery brown rubber, crisped argula and feta cheese on a half burnt cracker. While the portion size was pretty large I stopped after the second slice because it was completely inedible and had no redeeming quality. And it was way overpriced. Bonus: you’ll find the saddest offerings of café pastries huddling together for warmth in the sparse display case. Extra credit: I ordered a tea and it came in a cup of lukewarm tap water.

I ordered from Grub Hub this afternoon and was very impressed! The steak and arugula flatbread was delicious, and I am surprised that it was less than 300 calories… I am wondering if that was actually a typo on their website because it was soo filling and delicious! I also got a salad, and I love that you can make your own salad and choose up to five toppings. The salads are a decent size for a decent price– the only thing I didn’t like was the lemon tahini dressing that I chose, but I had asked for it on the side anyway so I was able to just use my own dressing instead. The driver forgot to deliver our fro-yo, and when I called the restaurant, they were very nice about it. They had the driver re-deliver it, and they even added a free muffin and cookie in there! The chocolate filled cookie was amazing!!! We did not realize that they actually mix the toppings into the fro-yo; we had assumed that it was similar to Pinkberry and other places, where they just put the toppings on top. So we kind of messed up and ordered a chocolate froyo with strawberries — the combo didn’t really work. But next time, if we order properly, I’m sure it will be great. I love the concept of mixing the flavors in with the yogurt. Overall, a great dining experience!

I’ve been here a few times as it’s a great place to meet friends. It’s somewhat small on the inside, but when it’s nice out there are a handful of added tables to eat outside. I stopped by once and intended to order the Fresh Mozzarella and Tomato Roll Up(basil, pesto, tomato, mozzarella), but I ended up being served the Fresh Mozzarella and Tomato Special(basil, pesto, tomato, mozzarella, and egg). I’m not sure if I misspoke or there was some confusion at the register as the items are so similarly named, but just be careful you’re ordering the right thing! The Special was a bit small, but good nonetheless. You can tell they use fresh ingredients. The next time I came I got a strawberry frozen yogurt. I rarely order soft froyo and even more rarely do I go with strawberry(I’m a chocolate/brownie/cookie dough person), but I was trying to be healthy-ish that day. I was totally blown away by how sweet the froyo was. The way Angora mixes the toppings with the yogurt creates a new, perfectly blended and delicious flavor. I’d definitely come back for the froyo!

I can’t speak for anything other than the frozen yogurt, but the frozen yogurt is great! Basically, you pick a mix-in flavor(or two!) and they use this giant machine to blend it with your frozen yogurt. It’s a nice variation on your usual frozen yogurt with toppings; I think they do this at Café Kiraz in Cambridge as well. A heaping small size filled me up for less than $ 5, which seems to be the going price for frozen desserts these days. They have something like 40 flavors, including butterfinger, oreo, and banana, so I would definitely come back to try more! I’m not sure I would get real food here, though – the menu seems a little strange and scattered. Also, I think I noticed that they have a separate mixing machine for nuts, so people with mild allergies can probably join in the fun!
