Amanda is the best — both at what she does, and at customer service. If I could, I would return with every single thing I ever want to frame again. She bent over backwards to frame and re-​frame a diploma that had been rolled up for more than a decade. She warned me that the ripples from being rolled up would never really go away, but when I picked up the piece, I could barely see the artifacts. She did a beautiful job. Without sharing some too-​personal-​details, let me also tell you that there was a horror story surrounding getting this thing framed, and that she was inconvenienced by it. Instead of being annoyed, she was so sympathetic that she discounted the labor on the framing, and even opened the shop an hour early for me to pick it up on my way out of town!
Amanda Accardi is exceptional at her job, and exceptional as a person. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not take all your framing needs to Amanda at Around the Corner.

Around the Corner Framing is phenomenal. I sent my wedding invitations to Amanda and let her use her artistic judgement as how to lay everything out… basically the best investment I ever made! She picked out the perfect frames, mattes, arrangement, etc… I would definitely recommend her to others who are looking to get their artwork framed!

This place is great. My company has had dozens of prints framed here and they always come back looking amazing. I’ve tried working with a few other places and just never got the quality, attention to detail and friendly service that I consistently have working with Around the Corner.

I first took a few prints to Amanda at Around the Corner because it was literally around the corner from my South End apartment. I was blown away by the quality of Amanda’s work and the attention she gives every piece. I live in the ‘burbs now but will continue to take all my framing to Amanda. She is a true artist who loves what she does, and she puts her heart and soul into her work. Every piece she has framed for me — from an antique Cambridge University print to my daughter’s newborn portrait to a large scale piece of calligraphy — comes out looking completely custom and WAY better than anything I could have designed myself. Her attention to detail is incredible, and her artistic eye is unwavering. I always look forward to our next collaboration and I’m so grateful to have found her!

Amanda is authentic and true to her art. She is passionate, thoughtful and a real professional. The shop is always a treat to enter and collaborating on projects is a pure joy with Amanda. Prices are always fair and her framing adds value to every print and painting I have taken in.

Amazing! I brought in a fairly simple poster, and what I got back was a piece of art. Absolutely love the job they did, and will definitely keep coming back. It was pricey but worth every penny.

How good is Amanda?
She makes BAD art look good! Believe me, I tested her.
The framing jobs she did for me were fantastic and creative in their own right. First, she spent a lot of time with me when I first brought a number of prints and watercolors in. She was great at recommending mats and frames that worked the art. Not in a typical way, either– this wasn’t only pleasing-​living-​room-​art-​frames, but frames and mats that emphasized details or themes in the work that surprised me. Then, a lot of thought went into how she matted the work, too– she did one piece in a sort of tongue-​in-​cheek Edwardian style that just rocks. It is now one of my favorite prints. I couldn’t be happier, and actually I can’t wait to bring in another batch (hear that, Amanda? As soon as it stops snowing so I can get’em there dry, brace yourself).
The quality of the work is exceptional. My partner actually works for a different framing company which shall go nameless and is MUCH more expensive than Around The Corner, and he was blown away by how sturdy the framing is. And, yes, the pricing is very good for the quality and care for the work. Cannot recommend it more highly.
