Great place with tons of healthy options. Normally have any of their burgers, but thought I would mix it up this time. I just had the Local Apple and Bacon Bowl. Good ingredient mix, just the right amount of citrus with the Pomegranate seeds. That being said, the chicken was way over cooked and someone did not wash the kale very well and every other bite of my salad had gritty particles(sand or dirt I assume). Love this place, but probably won’t be getting anything with kale in it again. Should definitely stick to the Turkey/Beef burgers.

Loved the turkey burger I got. And the sweet potato chips were delicious! Not giving it 5⁄5 because it could definitely be cleaner — way too many crumbs on the tables.

Sunday afternoon 1pm. Entered the Backbeat location. Ordered turkey burger El guano no cheese wheat bun. Fries and drink. Got the unsweetened tea with lemon. So weak like water. Order up. Take my tray to condiments station. Diety trays, out of mayo. Take my food to table. Table wobbles. Turkey burger so small under giant bun. Burger is dry, toppings are tastier than burger. Try the fries and stone cold. I will not only come back but will warn others to stay away. So typical of places that try to hard to be good.

I had a Turkey burger… it was made fast, and decent. But for a decent guy, I needed to have like 10 to get full. And for such a small burger, the price of $ 7 was not good

I’m a huge b good fan. Their house made veggie burger is better than what most restaurants offer and it’s half the price(South End Buttery, I’m looking at you). The veggie burger is also, thankfully, soy free. They have good bowls(power bowl is my go to), and the seasonal items that are worth a try. B good also just tested a new breakfast menu which is excellent(Acai bowls, Egg dishes, locally brewed coffee etc). The reason I’m taking away a star is lack of consistency. The fries are usually delicious but at this location they aren’t always baked properly. I’ve had soggy fries, lukewarm fries etc. They’ve forgotten to grill the bun on a few occasions. For these reasons, I’ve started going to the b good on Dartmouth St. which is very consistent.

A great place to get food while out and about in Boston. Went as a family with 2 kids and 4 adults. Had plenty of space to even park a stroller too. It wasn’t a huge restaurant, but it was laid out nicely to accommodate people well. We were all very happy with our meal choices. Great flavor and not just your typical burger. They do not offer traditional fountain drink options, so just be aware! Bathrooms were clean, however food was not the fastest, but not horrible either. If you’re visiting the Boston Public Library, this is a nice place to get some food and is right across the street on the North side.

Disappointed. The food here was sloppy, put together in a rush, and not appetizing. I have been to other b. goods in Boston and the food I got was not like this. I came here with a friend on a Monday afternoon, for a late lunch. We were starving so anything would taste good at this point. Expecting to get a nice fresh chicken salad, I got some spring salad mix, with some black beans, a small chunk of avocados with pre– made dry chicken on top. The chicken was cooked hours ago and was as hard as cardboard. My friend got a veggie burger with sweet potato fries. He did not like the burger at all. The fries came out soggy and barely lukewarm. I tried one, and only one. Hopefully they can improve the food for future patrons.

The food is so fresh! Eating here makes me feel good. There are a decent amount of menu options and you can customize since everything is made to order. I got the curry avocado quinoa kale bowl and it was so good. The sauce was perfect– not too overpowering and the quantity of dressing was perfect. I added grilled chicken, too. It was worth it but made my lunch go from ~$ 11 to ~$ 15, which sucks. The drink options are good too. They make all their own sodas and flat drinks. Try the ginger beer lemonade. It is so good and is the prettiest shade of pink. I’ll definitely go back.

I had the power bowl(without the egg) and sweet potato fries for lunch. This bowl consists of quinoa, kale, shredded carrots, charred brussel sprouts, mushrooms and pepitas in tomato vinaigrette. Portion was a bit small and the amount of vinaigrette on the salad was too much for my taste but otherwise a decent and healthy lunch option. As for the sweet potato fries, they were not greasy at all(good!), yet not too crisp and absolutely no salt on them.

Been here twice already and purchased a bowl both times. Nice chill atmosphere and delicious healthy quinoa and kale bowls. They use fresh ingredients in their menu items. Smoothies are not all the rave but I would recommend the bowls!

I love the concept of «clean fast-food», but I was less than ecstatic about the meal. It wasn’t the recipe– rather, it was the preparation that showed lacking. The fries that looked awesome, were stiff and chewy(probably from an older batch). And the burger bun was untoasted, which I’m not sure was intentional but was not appreciated. Hopefully mgmt can up the quality game, because I wanna see your business model thrive!

I work in Back Bay & I’ve been thinking about trying this place for a while. Instead of checking Unilocal like I usually do, I followed the crowds of people I see at this place and convinced myself that this place must make amazing burgers. Boy was I wrong! I ordered a burger made the cousin Oliver way with wheat bread and also some regular fries. I just did a to go because I was in a hurry. When I open up my bag I was impressed the fries smelled amazing and the burger looked pretty good but after my first bite I knew I made a terrible mistake. The tomato on my burger was obviously not fresh and the burger it self had zero flavor. It tasted like nothingness. The fries were ok but overrall I was disappointed.

This review is for the kids mac and cheese with a side of sweet potato fries. I’ve such a mixed opinion on this place based on what we had. On the one hand, the sweet potato fries were great! Thumbs up that it’s made healthy so you can eat these guilt free. The broccoli and carrot sides that came with the mac and cheese were great too. Super healthy and nutritious for kids. The downside? The main dish, the mac and cheese wasn’t very good. My daughter wouldn’t eat it after taking one bite. Another issue was the wait. We were there for 15 – 20 minutes for food that I’d describe as healthy fast food. I can’t imagine how this place functions during lunch hour? In contrast, Sweet Green next door is much better bang for your buck with much faster service. For lunch, I’d definitely opt for that instead.

I love love love B Good! The turkey burgers here are fantastic. My favorites are the West Side and El Guapo. Their sweet potato fries are really addicting. I also recently tried the curried quinoa bowl which was fantastic! The veggies(especially the kale and carrots) were all fresh and delicious and I received a great portion size. B Good uses Toscanini icecream in their milkshakes which is arguably the best homemade icecream shop in Boston. On top of fantastic, healthy food, B Good has wonderful customer service!

First time eating here last night post-flywheel workout and it was pretty good and super filling. My roommate got the west side turkey burger and I got the cousin oliver turkey burger. Not the best turkey burger I’ve had since it wasn’t insanely juicey, but the veggies and pickles on top made it so much better. The turkey burger was not greasy at all :) We shared a southwestern salad. And omg. So flavorful. The chipotle purée in it gives it a huge kick which is nice, but might’ve been a little overbearing? The toasted corn was awesome — I love when there’s just a bit of crunch in my salad. Overall, I would come back again if I want a healthier burger to eat. Salad was delish. Only thing is, this location is right next to sweetgreen… So they got some tough competition for salad. Staff were okay. Girl on the register seemed kind of flustered, maybe they didn’t have enough staff for the night.

Amazing healthy fast food. Everything is fresh, natural, good prices, solid staff, nice atmosphere for casual bite. I highly recommend. I would do this everyday for lunch and get something different each time if I could!

I have actually been to this place a couple times but I was waiting for more experiences to give a full review. The food is average and it comes out a little too fast to be made to order which is kind of a bummer to me… like ready by the time I walk to the next counter from the register. I want to at least pretend like you aren’t rewarming my veggie burger. The three times I have been here the people(all different) at the register has not been the most friendly but eh what are you going to do? I’m sure I will go back at some point but there is nothing that is making me want to go back right away.

I’ve never heard of this restaurant but it looked good and I was starving. I learned that it’s a chain found in the Northeast so that explains it. Based on the menu and natural tones of the décor, it seems to cater to a healthier lifestyle meaning organic and natural menu items«created by people and not factories». I was almost turned off thinking this was another salad bar but was pleasantly surprised to see that not only do they serve kale and quinoa bowls, they also serve burgers & Sandwiches made to your liking based on the menu choices. In addition, there are seasonal salads, smoothies, shakes and cold pressed juices for your liking. When you walk in, you place your order at the register(decide before hopping in line to prevent lines backing up), pay and then wait at the end for them to call your name. Basically the process is like Panera without the buzzer thingy. I ended up ordering the Turkey burger made as «Cousin Oliver»(Lettuce, tomato, onions, Chef Tony’s homemade pickles) and also ordered a side of the real fries that are hand cut and baked. As far as fountain sodas go, they don’t carry the standard coca cola and pepsi products here. They only sell different flavors of Maine Root soda which is fair trade certified sweetened. And they’re good! Free refills to boot! My burger was small as most reviews have mentioned but enough for me. I would recommend ordering more than one if you are famished. The patty was good and plain because of how I had asked it to be prepared but that was fine with me. I would probably get it made as «El Guapo» or «West Side» if I wanted a kick with more flavor. For the most part, I was happy with my meal. It’s pricier than general fast food but it’s quality over quantity here. Sidenote– expect long lines during lunch on weekdays due to young professionals that work in the area.
