Boston Sound and Light

We hired Boston Sound & Light for our entire wedding day. DJ Krups was our DJ, and he was absolutely awesome! My husband and I had an interfaith, intercultural wedding, so we had a lot of specific requirements for types of music, when it was played, etc. and not your traditional civil ceremony. DJ Krups made multiple trips to my parents’ house starting 2 months before our wedding to get all of the details of our wedding day. By the time the big day rolled around, he knew exactly what was happening, and everything went really smoothly for the most part! DJ Krups was also really creative and kept the party going throughout the reception. The price for the full day was also very, very reasonable.
There are only 2 reasons this is 4 stars instead of 5: 1. He messed up our new last name when doing the introductions (even though we specifically provided phonetics written to him beforehand), and 2. We had a lot of little kids, and there was a point that night when he yelled a few not-​so-​clean into the microphone. We had specifically asked to keep everything clean (and all of the music was) — it was just this one piece.
Despite the issues above, we would definitely consider hiring Boston Sound & Light and DJ Krups again — he was hands-​down the DJ to have for our wedding.
