This Café Nero location has always been(and ongoing) part of my daily routine every morning. They have one of best quality coffee/tea and food, atmosphere, customer service, and definitely the unique factor. I used to be on the fence about the new employees here; sometimes new staff = mistakes(it’s to be expected right?). But now they have a consistent crew here and I love it! Everyone here, especially Neeyah(I probably butchered the spelling), makes sure I have a perfect cup of Earl Grey tea latte with amaretto along with a warm freshly baked chocolate croissant every morning. Sometimes when I’m in a hurry and there’s a line, I’ll wait because I know they are fast, efficient and on top of that, they always manage to be exceptionally friendly. It is simply a part of their disposition here.

Great cappuccino, funky atmosphere, a real happenin’ joint. Didn’t try the sandwiches, but I bet you, blackjack to black ties, that they’re swinging.

I don’t usually go to this Caffe Nero since it’s a further walk than the one in the South End, but I’m so glad I did. There’s a line pretty consistently, but it moves really fast. I love that they play classical music and have bar stool seating(I like standing while I work). It’s fairly empty seating-wise(most people take their orders to go) except around lunchtime, so there’s always seating; there’s also seating outside the shop inside the adjoining building. The actual coffee is really good. I got the cold brew and it was less than $ 3 for 16 oz, which is a good price. It’s smooth and one of the best I’ve had in Boston. They also have a stamp card so if you frequent any of the Caffe Nero locations, pick one up!

One of the best coffee in Boston area, and please don’t compare it to Starbucks. Love the ice latte and cold brew. Classic brew was very nice and smooth. One of Nero’s biggest attractions is the freshly baked pastries. So GOOD! Chocolate Croissant is awesome. Butter Croissant is amazing as well. If you are lucky, like I was recently, you can get a hot out of the oven Croissant. Nothing can beat that. I had some great staff and some so-so ones. The Nero app is not in English, hope they can change that soon.

Great place to meet with colleagues and clients in the medical field. Their coffee and sandwiches are supreme. You have to have their delicious prosciutto sandwich. Yum. Devon manages the place and he’s so amazingly friendly and accommodating but not over baring. Love that. Try it out. You won’t be disappointed. Keep it up. Bye bye Bucks!

The best coffee one can get. I found life after finding this place close to my work. Crew members are the best. I cant start my work day without having their coffee.

With limited options in the Longwood area, this place is decent. I got a Caesar salad and a coffee. The Caesar salad was a bit lame and didn’t come with dressing. The coffee was ok but a bit pricey. It has a cool vibe and the staff were very friendly.

Food is decent but service is very very slow. I think the staff is just too slow and chatty.

Great place to grab coffee and fresh made sandwiches Really cute ambiance for seating in the back(feels like you’re in a fancy library with those giant arm chairs!) There’s seating in the lobby of the building they are attached to as well as seating outdoors. Blueberry muffins are tiny and dry and not worth $ 3. They don’t heat up pastries. Also the stampcard applies to coffee only.

Best place to get coffee in Longwood. The croissants and sandwiches are great as well.

This is by far my favorite coffee shop. It’s at a great location close to both my school and workplace, so I’m always here whether it’s in the morning grabbing coffee for my long day or after classes to get some work done. I love their expresso and you can’t go wrong with their apple coffee cake or any of their delicious sandwiches.

Longwood is in real need of a good coffee shop! This place could be it. The staff are great and the drinks are great. My only complaint is that the music is too loud for this place to be a good place to work or to listen to your own music. It’s also pretty cold in there all the time.

Café Nero is my new go-to in the area and is a great alternative to Dunkies and Starbucks. Their iced mocha is pretty tasty, the staff has always been very friendly and efficient, and I like their rustic/cozy vibe. Note they do use 2 espresso shots in their drinks, so if you’re sensitive to that you can ask for just one.

So happy that I found a replacement for Starbucks! Great for breakfast before work– they sell boiled eggs, yogurt parfait, and other healthier options. The best part is that their black coffee is cheaper than Starbucks. I got a black coffee, boiled eggs, and yogurt parfait for $ 7. Definitely a pretty café décor, too.

Love this place! So happy it opened — convenient location if you work in the Longwood medical area. Great coffee, tea, and smoothies. Yummy pastries and delicious sandwiches. The customer service is quick and VERY friendly. The décor has a fun rustic-urban-hipster feel to it. Only downside is it is slightly pricey, but only a few bucks more to have lunch here than in the cafeteria(depending on what you get), and much nicer quality, so it’s not so bad.

I was excited to discover this newest branch of Caffe Nero. The décor is similar to their other cafes: cozy, warm, with lots of natural wood and chalkboard aesthetic. I got a soy chai latte and a ham and cheese baguette, which was nicely toasted. Overall, the service was top notch — very friendly and efficient — and the food and drink tasty. The chai is a bit on the sweeter, but not to the sugar levels of Starbucks(a plus in my book). If this were a bit closer by, I would definitely come more often.

Clearly they have their«look» down packed. I’m not impressed with the food choices and feel that they are priced high considering with they are made with. Presentation is key and for that five stars. Coffee is ok, food is ok, and atmosphere is great I would say three stars. I would love to see more heated/panini sandwich choices that change for returning customers!

Caffe Nero follows me everywhere I go and I’M SOHAPPYTHATITDOES! All kidding aside, this location tries to mimic the DTX location with the beauteous light fixtures, but it doesn’t have the same impact because the space is so much smaller here. The building is extremely clean and modern, though, so it’s not without its perks… you just don’t get the same«Beauty and the Beast» type of coziness that you get from the DTX location. Regardless, it’s the same amazing coffee and same delicious pastries, so no sacrifice in flavor. They also have free WIFI with a good amount of outlets. Always a plus. PS. Grab a Caffe Nero punchcard from your barista. You get every 10th coffee free & it works for all locations!

Opened today! Great coffee(according to my coworkers), great tea(me) and the food we got was very good. A variety of sandwiches and sweets from croissants to muffins to cakes. Service was very cheerful and quick. Points for having ice water at the cream/sugar station for those of us who drink their coffee/tea black and it’s too hot. Décor was very cute. A little cramped/small, but very well appointed. Wish it had more places to sit down, but will do well with foot traffic. Probably 1⁄3 or ¼ the size of the JP location.
