Soooo lets talk… I just walked in to Bgood which is one of my favorite burger spots. I say to the girl I want a veggie burger, she never asks me what I wanted on the burger. Ok cool. Andrew comes in and she greats him. Asks him what he needs, he replies I have an online order. Then she tells me I should try that. Helps Andrew with everything he needed. Here is the thing!!! I swear I came in before Andrew so I should have been helped before Andrew. When I speak on her actions, she never apologizes and says you said you wanted a veggie burger by didn’t say what you wanted on it! I’m pretty sure she is suppose to ask!!! I just walked out! Would have been my first time going to this location! Thanks Bgood.

I love a good salad bowl but I cannot stand poor service, hence my 1 star. The Verdict: There are other places in the Longwood area that offer other salad-like bowls that are equally good and have made me feel like a much more valued customer. I won’t be returning here. The Story: Went to the Longwood location of B. Good for the first time last month, excited to redeem the free bowl offered when I signed up for the app. After waiting in the packed line(it was lunch time in the medical area!), my friend went to one register to order while I went to the other one. I was told by the manager, Maria, that the app machine was down and thus they couldn’t process the free bowl but my friend, next to me, was able to redeem her coupon. Umm… Not only was it strange that they made this allowance for one person but it was awkward because I wanted to spend my $ 10 at another restaurant in the absence of the free bowl. My friend felt bad eating, and asked me to follow-up with someone higher up. So, as she sat kind of eating, I tried to call the district manager of the Longwood B. Good location, and was connected with a district manager who — after some time on the phone — told me Longwood is not his location. The district manager I spoke with gave me several hypotheses for why the coupon couldn’t be honored and also told me it was not possible that the coupon would be honored for one person and I must have been mistaken. I explained that it was in fact my guest siting in front of me who was able to redeem the free bowl, and that I would appreciate the opportunity to communicate with the appropriate district manager. I gave my information but was never contacted to share my experience with the appropriate person. I am very disappointed by my interactions with management at B. Good and have no plans to return or recommend the location anytime soon.

Today was my first time visiting this place and I will most definitely return. I am always down for healthier options when it comes to «fast food». I ordered the West Side Chicken Sandwich($ 6.99) w/cheese(1.29) and a side of sweet potato fries($ 3.29). At first I thought it was a little pricey, but after eating, I realized it was worth the price. The sandwich was amazing. Just the right amount of avocado and the cilantro, salsa and chipotle purée were the perfect mix. The service was fast for lunch hour. There weren’t many seats so we went across the street to Longwood Galleria where it was easy to find one.

Finally bumping my review to 4 stars after trying the Spicy Avocado & Lime quinoa bowl. Awesome texture and the lime and spice really comes through. Price is a bit steep for me($ 9.59) as it’s only 1 – 1.5 portions, but for the flavor I’d consider ordering again.(You may be able to customize a cheaper grain bowl at Sweetgreen…) Definitely gets busy here between 12 – 2, so I’d avoid it if possible.

It might be the tiniest bit overpriced, but the ingredients are undoubtedly fresh. $ 6 for a pretty good strawberry banana(based with Greek yogurt abd honey). nice and thick texture. $ 8 for a delicious Turkey burger with pepperjack cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Holy cow those veggies were vibrant and fresh. My wallet will hate me, but my stomach will thank me as I keep coming back!

I can’t understand what all the hype is about. I had to wait 15 minutes for a messy, average turkey burger and soggy fries that were both room temperature. I watched as the employee wrapped my burger and placed it on the counter with no sense of urgency. The fries reluctantly came from the fry-a-later(pun intended) by yet another disinterested employee. My name was never announced– I had to assume this my meal. Did I mention this was on Saturday when there were 7 people in the place? I’m not normally a complainer, but I will leave honest feedback. Now, when I pay $ 12.00 for, essentially what should be a meal that is supposed to «B good», and I get this luke-warm, mediocre and messy burger served some disinterested, or otherwise disconnected employees, I can’t be all too gushing over either the food, the service(or lack thereof) or price. If a business is going to advertise and trumpet their locally sourced, all organic blablabla and serve it up all day like its some kind of something special, I expect that it should be. But people– B smart– it’s not. Although it’s probably better than 60% of the food in Longwood, save your hard earned money and spend it on food that actually lives up to the hype.

Across the street from Longwood Galleria and same block as Joslin, Dana Farber, and Beth Israel. Came for a quick healthy lunch and walked out within 3 minutes with a freshly made strawberry, fig, goat cheese, spinach salad. Pretty outdoor tables with a good amount of space. Bonuses: cute fresh herbs growing as a divider inside and eco-friendly takeout containers.

Lots of healthy fresh items, fast service, and extremely convenient location. It’s also really easy to pay with the app before even heading over there. The prices are a bit on the pricey end hence the 4 stars.

It’s expensive and in my opinion the burger and fries aren’t any better than Tasty Burger or Five Guys. I’d say eat here for the bowls and not the burgers or other sandwiches… $ 8.54 for a burger with cheese and an additional $ 4 and change for drink and fries… Nah… Too pricey for what you get. It is a good burger, the cheddar they used was really good, probably the best thing in my order, had flavor to standout on its own and the fries taste like potatoes. The fries were not super crispy more like home fries in stick form… They have neat fountain selections. I got the black cherry cola second best thing in my order. I found the ketchup weird… I guess it is real ketchup but it is weird kinda chunky and vinegary tasting… Not a fan… The joint is also crazy loud and busy during the workday lunch rush… Line out the door busy. Don’t recommended it for group lunches as a sit down. I also think the girl over charged me because she didn’t ring up my order as a combo and she short-changed me a dollar… No biggie but that’s how loud it is. I won’t go back because a kale dish shouldn’t cost $ 7(maybe ill go back for a soda) but feel free to eat here if you’re burdened with one of those globally guilty consciousnesses and loathe the market commercialism of food while you read my review on your iPhone… Everything is locally sourced which I do appreciate but I can’t pay this much money for food made better elsewhere, I don’t carry the aforementioned guilt so things usually taste pretty alright no matter where I eat.

I’m so excited that b. good is finally in this area! I love that all of their ingredients are from local farms and that I don’t feel gross after eating their food. Although it is a longer wait than say McDonald’s across the street, I don’t mind because I’m getting real, fresh, nutritious, quality food made by people not machines. Their burgers are smaller than what I’m used to, but that’s probably for the better; still filling though. Try cousin oliver or west-side. Their southwestern chicken salad is also delicious and I love their sweet potato fries. Not a fan of lemonade, but I sampled their juices and liked the one with honeydew in it; the carrot one, not so much.

I’ve eaten my way through much of the menu over the years, and subsequently am a huge fan of b. good and what they’re doing. So I was psyched when they opened in the LMA– why there aren’t more healthy lunch options in the area, I’ll never know, so they’re doing a great job helping to fill the void(and clearly the rest of the LMA population thinks so too, because they have been slammin’ since they opened– be prepared for long lines!). This location is still getting its rhythm– along with the long lines at lunch(which honestly, I don’t think will go away possibly ever, it’s a small place that’s high in demand surrounded by thousands of people), my b. good app didn’t register properly the first time I was here. But customer service was great, they honored my app’s reward even though it didn’t register in the system, and they seem to care about moving things along quickly and making sure the customers are happy. Here are some reasons I’m a b. good fan4lyfe: Taste: There’s something magical about the bacon in the Apple and Bacon Kale bowl, it’s just so delicious. And the dressing on the Farmstand Tomato-Basil bowl could be slathered on anything and it would make it amazing. Seasonal specials are especially good(looking at you, watermelon and feta salad, and peach and cherry smoothie), and I love that they do turkey burgers(my fav kind) and housemade infused lemonades. But pretty much everything here is fresh and yummy, I have yet to have anything that I truly did not like(the carrot cake smoothie was a little weird though, but not disgusting). Health: Food that tastes good is actually good for you too? Shocking, isn’t it? It’s nice to eat take-out(especially traditional guilty pleasures like fries and turkey burgers) and not feel totally gross afterwards. To be fair, the oven fries naturally aren’t nearly as crispy as they would be if they were fried, but as long as you adjust your expectations accordingly, it’s fine. Quality: You won’t find wilted lettuce or crappy veggie patties here; they have high standards. Also, their portion size is excellent– I’m always full and satisfied after a meal here. Local: I think it’s pretty rad that they source their food from local vendors, and take the time to feature them on their walls and in their emails– my hard-earned dollars help support small businesses in our local community, and I feel good about that. Loyalty: If you’re a ‘family member’, you’ll get regular free goodies and try-outs loaded onto your account, as well as email updates about new menu items, local purveyors, fundraising, and so on. They even have a customer panel that tries out new items and gives feedback before it joins the regular menu rotation. It seems this business really cares about its customers, and you can see the true people behind the company instead of the usual corporate gloss.

5 star for location: Great place for a lunch especially if you’re a student along longwood ave. or even working in the nearby buildings/hospitals. It’s about time we had a place that served delicious salad bowls and not fast food like the Longwood Galleria. 3 star for the food: Only been here once, so I can’t say much yet, but I may change my mind later. I’m always on the hunt for local restaurants that serve fresh foods with good nutrition. Kale+quinoa bowls are super hearty and filling, and prices are average/reasonable for what you’d pay anywhere else in the city for burgers/fries/salads. Fries are eh. But rosemary lemonade is very refreshing and great for a hot summer day!
