Cappy’s Laundry

This laundry is clean, however several dryers have been out of order for a few months. Also, I have discovered that the white top loading washing machines do not always drain all of the wash water out before the rinse water starts.

My friends do their laundry here so I decided to check it out. And I liked the fact that they had different load sizes. 2.50÷3.50÷4.50 the machines are new and very effective. The machines at my apt are old so we have to do different loads fir effective washing and drying. The dyers are pretty huge and 30 mins is more than enough unlike 60 mins at most places. The people here are also very friendly u can have a nice chat while u are waiting :)

In terms of the area this is a pretty decent place to do your laundry. They have carts to help you move your clothes from washer to drier, change machines, and a wash and fold service if that’s what you want. I have been in there before when many of the machines were out of order. Fix yo’ crap people. I like their driers. They are massive and it usually ends up costing me around $ 2.50 which is a lot better than the $ 6.00 that my old apartment used to charge,
While you are waiting you can always go upstairs and enjoy a slice in Cappys.

check your change. They shorted me a quarter. when i confronted them about it the laundromat lady said, «it’s not my problem. i don’t know»

FORGET EVERY REVIEW POSTED BEFORE MINE
This place used to be great. These awesome Spanish ladies did a kickass job, were friendly, and made this place great.
But now there are new owners.
Call. Try making sense of what the girl who works there is saying. Ask a question. She will tell you they are laundry over and over again, in a thick, thick accent. I have nothing against accents, but she is mentally ill, in my opinion.
Its been getting worse. Now, they charge for Tide instead of their «McSoap Flakes» and that’s nothing… the clothes you pick up will have to be rewashed about half the time.
Today, I took a shirt out of laundry that we picked up and put it on. I noticed the smell of Fritos. It was the shirt. It was the other shirts in the bag. It was the socks. It was everything. Mind you, these were 75 percent brand new clothes.
And that is not the first time it happened. When it happened before, I figured that anyone can make a mistake once, but not twice…
Well, we both did. I will never go here again. Best part: when I called, the owner told me that he didnt care.
I will be going in there so he can say that to my 300 pound, bald-​headed ass.

I used to do my laundry here but with my wacky schedule in place I now drop off my laundry. This is in a very convenient location, the prices are reasonable, and the service is typically very prompt.
I am happy that their current hours allow me to drop off laundry between 7am-​8pm, that is a huge benefit for me.

Very clean facility to do your laundry. Renovated in the past year. Lots of washers and dryers. Also you can leave your laundry there and pick it up same day for a reasonable price. Sundays can get crowded, but isnt that every laundromat?
