Awesome burritos. Super filling and super yummy. Also pretty affordable compared to everything else in the Back Bay, and especially to burrito places like Boloco and Chipotle(yuck). Keep in mind though that CCT isn’t a full restaurant, it’s a food stand inside Back Bay Station. Something super important: CASHONLY. Service is friendly and quick. There’s the nearby seating within Back Bay Station. Honestly I just wish this place was a full restaurant, it’s so good. My only regret is that I didn’t know about this place sooner. Will probably be back sometime(very) soon.

I pass this booth everyday on my way back home. It’s dinner time so I stop and get a couple of spicy chicken corn tortilla tacos and a side of guac and chips. I absolutely love it! It’s the perfect size meal too. I get this about once a week, sometimes twice. You won’t be disappointed. I would give it 5 stars but that should be reserved for absolute perfection and that is extremely hard to find.

So I my missed train and had an hour to kill, watched many people buy from this place and decided my 4 hour ride back to NY is long. Got the burrito with spicy shredded pork on a shoal wheat tortilla. It was very good, they packed it really well so that it was easy to eat on the train and I’d recommend it to someone who wanted cheap eats that’s tasty and definitely not like Chipotle. I thought prices were decent. They didn’t skimp on the meat which other chains usually do. Give it a try with the hot sauce.

Had the rice bowl, and a couple weeks back a burrito, both were serviceable but uninspiring. It’s great if you’re on the run they’re fast and build it to order. If you have time though walk a bit to a better joint.

Good for those on the run. This is a take out«cart» place inside the Back Bay train station. Good for quick meal, fast service and all for under $ 4.00. I got a taco to go, brought it back to work and had a good lunch. I’m not sure I would be walking around eating a taco in a train station but if you can then I am impressed. Honestly, I need a desk with a clean set of ten fingers and a fork to scoop up what ever falls out of the taco when I’m done. I can not or will not eat at a train station or on the train. I just can’t. Please don’t judge me! This taco was good just not amazing. I think it’s hard to mess up a taco but I have seen it done more times than I care to admit. This is a destination of convenience and cheap but good fast Mexican food in Boston.

Awesome burritos that taste fresh and warm and delicious. The carnitas were to die for.

In the middle of my day traveling around Boston I stopped and grabbed a quick burrito from Cha Cha Cha Taqueria. They weren’t open until about half an hour after their posted hours said they would be, but the food was worth the wait. I got a marinated pork burrito with grilled onions, hot sauce, black beans, pico, and lettuce. It was only $ 6, and I honestly liked it better than chipotle. There was a decent selection of Mexican soft drinks as well, but I just went with water. I’d gladly go back here if I’m ever taking the train in Boston again.

This is by far the best thing to eat before hopping on the train. I had their tacos and burritos. All very good. But I think the side of guac is a bit pricey and I am not a fan of their salsa which tastes like tomato salad with no flavor.

I really use to like this place but their food has recently taken a nose dive in my book. –the stand attendants put as little vegetables/sour cream/guac and toppings on as possible. I don’t know if they don’t like prepping or just stingy. It’s actually infuriating to watch them build a taco or burrito, you can tell they are trying to use as little ingredients as possible. skip this place and go to a food truck. I can’t imagine this 4 start rating reflects their recent food. I won’t be going back.

Decent food. Friendly employees. However, they are hustlers. A Burrito Grande with Sour Cream is $ 7.00. They will attempt to charge your $ 7.71. The cashiers helper will say«Sour Cream» to inform him. He will still charge you for Sour Cream and Guacamole or just Guacamole. This has happened close to ten times. I’ve gone there just to test this. The man is a ripoff artist and most likely overcharges for your extras dozens — hundreds of times a day. It’s a shame. I will walk the extra block for better food rather than deal with it again. It’s almost laughable how 10⁄10 times he will pull that bullshit move. Dishonestly will never get you ahead. Shame on you Cha Cha…

I went again and the portions are so small now. It is infuriating to watch them build your food and then have to pay(cash only) for it. I used to be a bigger fan, but I will just go elsewhere now.

Every time i’ve been at Back Bay, I always see a line at this stand and promise myself I’ll stop by and order something. Today was that day. I ordered a horchata and a small chicken burrito($ 4.50) and added guac. The horchata was 3 stars, but the burrito was awesome! I love how they melt the cheese throughout the tortilla before filling it. They fill the burrito perfectly and wrap it well so it’s not busting at the seams or dripping. Another thing I liked was that it wasn’t greasy. Great place to stop for yummy(and cheap) food on the go. Cash only.

Grabbed a bite while waiting to catch a train. 12″ burrito fully loaded for under 8 bucks. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff, ample portions(wrap wasn’t bursting from being overfilled). Would definitely stop here again. Make sure you have cash on you; no cards accepted.

Sure its a cart. Sure it’s in the middle of Back Bay Station. Sure there are a ton of homeless people asking for change. But this place is worth it. One of my favorite places for mexican food. Its cheap, fast and awesome.

I was taking the Amtrak from Back Bay on Fri afdternoon and needed something to eat. The only other option was Dunkin Donuts. I got 2 tacos, 1 chicken, 1 beef and added guac and cheese. With a bottle of water, it was around $ 9. They were soft tacos(double wrapped) and filled pretty well. They were messy to eat on the go but they were tasty. I’d def try them again(and try the pastor per other Unilocalers recs).

Finding good, authentic Mexican food in Boston is like finding… good, authentic Mexican food in Boston. Yea. It’s that bad. Fortunately, this unassuming little food cart near the entrance to Back Bay station serves up some of the finest tacos and burritos this side of Eastie/El Pelon. It’s a bastion of flavor in an otherwise barren Mexican landscape. The meats are expertly marinated and flavorful enough to stand on their own. Steak and al pastor are the standouts, and they certainly don’t skimp — two tacos or a small burrito make for a mighty filling midday meal. The staff are always friendly, and they’re the kind of people who remember your name and your order after just a couple visits. And the prices are as reasonable as you’ll find for lunchtime fare. I only wish they’d open permanent establishment in the area so I could grab takeout on the way home.

I LOVE this food cart. You would never believe that you can get amazing food from a food cart, but Cha Cha Cha changes your mind. I’ve been coming here on and off since they first started their business. I will go out of my way to come here but they are only open until 6 or 6:30! I’ve only gotten their quesadillas but they are so good, and easy to travel with! I’m so glad they’re doing well with business, more food for me :)

gotta eat when you travel. I learned early that risk is not something you want to take on food when consulting. It can lead to bad results on the road. So when I found myself in Boston and with a taste for tacos, I asked around. I was sent to Cha3 by at least 4 people. Very tasty stuff. Thank you all for the great advice. These were not the tacos of the west coast, nor were they the tacos of my native Chicago. These special tacos from what I can tell belong to Boston. I went for the beef and added some guacamole on the side. If we get the Boston contract, I suspect that I will spend many a day and dollar at Cha Cha Cha.
