This place is only open like half the time.
This small place is always crowded with degenerate gamblers and there is only one cashier… always.
This place is not the cleanest and it is rather dump.
Selection you may ask… what selection? Great for newspapers and high priced magazines, but not much else. Fruit punch gatorade? Oh… I am sorry, here is some of our other sorry flavors.
Great location, but a real hole in the wall… but I will be there again. You know why, because it right INSIDE Back Bay station!

Highway robbery. Or should I say Subway robbery? This «convenience» store wins a place amongst the theivery ranks of highway rest stop stores and airport magazine shops. What is the commonality? Cigarettes cost WAY too much. Other than the jacked up prices, this place is what you’d expect in a Boston convenience store… only with more lingering bums.

Found this place when I was waiting for my Amtrak at the Backbay Station to NYC. Didn’t think much of it, just another convenient store.
WRONG!!!
They have 2 walls of magazines and newspapers. They also have great road snacks to go. Most c-​stores have big bag of chips or oreos. Really too much for 1 person. Express Depot has a vast selection of juices (organic — which is KEY), sodas, and flavored water.
After $ 20, I left with several mags which I was surprised they carried, along with 3 different Odwalla’s juices, and 4 different snack size nutter butters, oreos, and chex mix.
