I LOVEIT. Thank you very much for moving into BPM a block from my office. This is forever my favorite afternoon pick-me-up. Thankfully the market is quite toasty and warm in the winter so you can easily eat this delicious stuff all year round. My absolute favorite without a doubt is the Graham Central Station. It’s jam-packed with crunchy chunks of graham cracker and perfectly swirled into a rich and decadent vanilla base. The Coconut Almond bar one is also fantastic. It’s overloaded in the best way with coconut, has hard ribbons of chocolate running through it almost like magic shell but even better and crisp & crunchy almonds that add a nice slightly salty finish. The English Toffee Crunch though robust in toffee flavor was a bit grainy for me but that may just be based on personal preference. Can’t wait to try their other flavors. ALSO, they have a loyalty card, make sure you grab one!

Ice cream can be enjoyed any time of the year but I am particular to having this sweet treat in the winter due to the whole drip factor. Crescent Ridge Dairy of Sharon has been know for a very long time for some of the best ice cream in New England & people flock to its Sharon, MA farm but now all city dwellers are in luck that they decided to land at the BPM. We are treated to a very diverse selection of flavors from the classic like strawberry & vanilla to salty pretzel. I usually sneak out to grab a treat in the afternoons & get my sugar fix. The portions are humongous to say the least. A two scooped medium cake cone is usually as big as my face. Plus they allow for a mix & match of flavors that is much appriciated. The staff are extremely friendly & never shy away from offering a free tasting spoon for any flavor. Besides the great ice cream, Cresent Ridge is also know for their great milk which is also sold here & is still delivered door to door. Offered in clear glass bottles & extremely fresh. I would recommend grabbing a bottle or two & I think you will notice the difference. Truly takes you back to another time. This place is another prime example of the Boston Public Market’s dedication to showcasing great hyper local products & producers. Next time you are in the area make sure you have some room for one of their sweet creations. Enjoy & keep the screaming to a minimum please.
