Now known as Cure at 246 Tremont they shut down a party for harvard and yale black graduate students after they had prepaid and contracted with the organization. I hear it was a racist action by the club owner. He said something like I’ll shut it down before I let all of these black people in… Do not support this club. Period!

Damn, I miss this night. Unfortunately, it’s on summer break, so that’s one less quality lesbian night for the time being. Sad too, especially since it was the only Saturday night event.
But Aria is a brilliant, elegant space for a dyke night. Very conducive to both dancing and mingling. Another great addition to the Boston lesbian community by Beth and her team at

This night was consistently packed every week with an attractive, varied crowd. I highly recommend giving it a chance once it returns from hiatus.
If I recall correctly, there was a cover, probably hovering around $ 10.
