It felt so surreal as someone of Chinese descent to visit Dunks in Chinatown. But yeah the dark roast coffee is richly roasted and the doughnut was fresh when I visited them. It’s not crowded and it feels spacious. :)

Unbeatably located on downtown Boston’s Washington Street which is constantly bustling with interesting pedestrian traffic, the place is spacious, reasonably clean, well-lit and the ambiance is great. I was surprised to find that it was not crowded, although I visited it on a Friday evening. The staff was polite, courteous and efficient. The view of Washington Street and of the famous Pi Alley is great, especially if you enjoy people-watching! The noise level was low and the music wonderful. The patrons were quiet although I was solicited for money by a panhandler who apparently strolled in. Overall, this was one of my best Dunkin’ Donuts experiences!

The employees are fast&friendly and happy to make your coffee. Just enough ice&coffee and the lil bit of sweetness makes me happy! This is my favorite DD store. Too bad I don’t work around there anymore. The other DD on Summer Street is always busy, and lines down the steps to the door. Their express is not EXPRESS ! The seating near the express lane is cramped! I thought someone tried to pick pocket me, while waiting in line. Every morning I’m in there my heart beats till it hurts cuz Im staring at the clock hoping it does not take 7 minutes for my ice coffee.

Do not go to this Dunkins the one at government center or on Treamont street are so much better. If you want to wait for ever and be asked 5 times what you want goto this location. This mornings are the worst. Avoid the fast lane before 10 am at all costs.

Worst breakfast sandwich I’ve EVER had. Stale bagel, see through bacon and foamy egg. I’ve eaten at plenty of dunkin donuts. But if this had been my first I would have never gone back.

Above average DD. Plenty of indoor seating. Clean floors, tables, and chairs. Coffee isn’t watered down like at some locations. Friendly and fast staff, free wifi like all DD, and cool location(right in downtown attached to Pi Alley). Just tried the new Rocky Road flavor of coffee, would recommend. Overall, while this may just be one of nth number of Dunkin’ Donuts in the sea of them that oversaturates Boston streets, it is clearly one of the better franchises. Good job guys. Edit: What would make this 5 stars is if they had a public bathroom, which they currently do not.

Basic DD. Apparently us, Bostonians, run on it. I don’t really do coffee so I can’t comment on that, I’m sure it’s the usual though. About once every other month, I’ll run in a grab the big & toasty. Service is as expected & they keep up the pace for the crowd.

What kind of a donut shop runs out of donuts? Okay, yeah, so today was Free Donut Day, where you could get a free donut with any beverage purchase. But Dunkin’ Donuts had this planned well in advance. They had plenty of opportunity to stock up on extra donuts for Free Donut Day. I expect better levels of preparation from a business as established as Dunkin’ Donuts.

While I was ordering a coffee my 5 year old asked to use the bathroom which was clearly visible but they refused to let her. She is five! They told me that 4 blocks up there is a food court she can use. Clearly they don’t have children because 5 year olds don’t realize they have to pee until its practically to late! Thank goodness for the Starbucks across the street who let her use it. Sorry dunkins poor customer service does not win customers. Although I prefer dunkins coffee I will not be coming back.

This is the only place I go for my coffee. It’s always fresh and the place is always hopping. The staff has military precision in getting your order and you out the door quickly. Highly Recommend coming here!

Seriously, why? WHY? The Dunkin’ Donuts empire scares me almost as much as the Starbucks empire.

Dreadful. When you order a coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts, the counter person asks you if you want cream & sugar, then proceeds to add it FORYOU… I’m sorry, but I find this offensive. How can the counter person feign to know how much«cream»(I prefer milk, thank you) & sugar I want? What kind of business model is this? How much dairy product(if any) and sugar a person wants is a PERSONALCHOICE, and should be left up to the customer. Would it really be so difficult to just leave the milk & sugar out for customers to do themselves, like in EVERYOTHERCAFÉINTHECOUNTRY? And while you’re at it, I don’t suppose you could also offer me some Brown or Turbinado/Demerara sugar, could you? To offer white only is SO old-fashioned! I’m sure Dunkin’ Donuts’ business practices are probably steeped more in tradition than in common sense, and probably reflect the preferences of their largely blue collar customer demographic, but DAMN! I don’t suppose they could progress or change with the times a LITTLEBIT, could they? I was in Boston, visiting a friend for Memorial Day, and on the way somewhere, we stopped in DD for a coffee. For the sake of getting in & out quickly, I went ahead & let them do the milk & sugar for me, as they seem to be accustomed. And what I got was just UNDRINKABLE: WAY too sweet, and with WAY too much milk. It is precisely this type of crap that makes Europeans ridicule American coffee so much. I understand now that what Dunkin’ Donuts offers its customers is not coffee ATALL, but rather an oversweetened milk drink with a hint of coffee flavor. Their«coffee» is not for coffee lovers at all, and if you are one, you are much better served to find an independently-owned café, or your nearest Starbucks. What a disappointment! I understand that Dunkin’ Donuts is an institution on the East Coast, and is very successful. And to be fair, their donuts are good(way better than Krispy Kreme). But coffee is at least half of the equation, and what I had(both the end product, and the process of getting it) was completely unacceptable. Mine went straight to the trash. ***(I should note that my review is not of this location INPARTICULAR, but of Dunkin’ Donuts ONTHEWHOLE. Their practice of adding cream & sugar for the customer is the same across ALL their locations. They need to change this policy) ***

This is a general review, not for a specific location… That being said, I haven’t been in a Dunkie’s since Rachel Ray started schilling for them. That’s reason enough for me to stay away. I know they’ve started this new toasted food thing, which I s’pose is better than nuking everything… But the food is kind of gross. I miss the little tubby guy’s ads«Time to make the Donuts», and the fact, I dunno, that the donuts used to be FRESH, and made in the store. Hello! The bagels, quite honestly suck. There’s no chew to them. OOH, and I HATE that if you ask for butter, at some locations you still get ½ cup of cream cheese on them, or EVENWORSE ¼ of Margarine. Butter is butter, margarine is margarine. Tell the customer what you are serving. And don’t give them a heart attack by using more than a pat or two. Oh, and toasted means more than barely warmed up. The coffee is weak. Just pale ghosts of coffee. Coffee should not be transparent, it should be thick, black and opaque. You have to add a shot Dunkin’s, to even give it a kick. FEH! Spend the same dough at Bruegger’s, and get a better bagel, made fresh, and coffee that actually has caffeine in it. I like Dunkin’s cute retro coffee mugs. There, I said something nice.

What *$s is to Los Angeles, Dunkin’ Donuts is to Boston. They’re everywhere. My friend just opened one up in her apartment. Not really, but you see where I’m going. Donuts are tasty, and so was the Iced tea that I ordered, even though it was 9 degrees outside. I don’t know why I do that. I think it was because the person behind me kept sneezing w/o covering their mouth, so I was apt to get out of there asap. :\

the day i moved to the west coast was the saddest but probably the best thing that could have happened for my health. With dunkin donuts being a standard staple in everyone’s diet on the east, my butt could’ve stood to loose some inches. That being said, I am so happy to be eating a chocolate glazed and a coffee with cream and sugar in it, while I sit in the airport and think about not killing myself for these gosh darn delays. These donuts can’t be beat. It may be the novelty but who gives a shit!

I live in California. Dunkin’ Donuts are not common. Whilst visting New England, I see them everywhere. Sort of like Starbucks on the west coast. It seems as though east-coasters get their coffee fix at DD like we west-coasters do with Starfucks, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Peets(the latter two are so much better than the first). So last time I was in Boston, I wanted to see what the fuss is all about. I wanted to see why in Good Will Hunting, one of my favourite movies, they always grab a coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts on the way to work in the morning. My experience was extremely positive. Not only is it much less expensive than Starbucks, the coffee is much, much more flavourful. AND you get quality donuts with your brew, if you are so inclined. Food at Starbucks, of course, is prepared off the premises, shipped over, and then frozen/refrigerated before consumption. I am a fan.

This review is dedicated to the best breakfast sandwich ever mass-produced, the BACONCHEDDAROMWICH. They discontinued this gooey delicious bomb-with-bacon-bits over five years ago and still to this day it remains one of the biggest disappointments of my life. Extra-nostalgia goes out to the glorious D&D coffee — Sweet & White — that you can’t find anywhere in California.
