This joint is aces. It definitely looks like a dump, and carries pretty crappy stuff. But ask the dude who’s always there(I think he owns the joint) for what you want. He might have it and he will order it. I asked him for a really specific bourbon that’s not terribly common, and he had it in a day. A DAY. That’s great. And it was cheaper than the bigger liquor store down the road. FH Liquors is an excellent example of a small business with very little behind it that strives to serve it’s customers with good customer service and products they want. I will go here all the time. Unless I need something they don’t have. Then I’ll go somewhere else to get it and let the dude know I need it in the future.

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Boston, MA
OK. Some people will disagree with my review, because this is one of those tiny hole-in-the-wall places with a very small selection. However, I have one main criterion when evaluating a liquor store: does the employee working there creep me out? If yes, I won’t go back regardless of their selection or prices. If no, woohoo! I will be their loyal customer and find something I can drink, no matter how small the selection. Jim, the guy that runs this place, is laid back, often has pleasant jams going, and doesn’t leer at me. In fact, he has actually shooed a guy out of the store for being creepy towards me. I have found my liquor store! Update 10÷25÷11: We asked Jim if he would get some Franzia for us(yeah, I know… tough economic times, OK?). He did, and is currently selling it for $ 11.99, which I believe is $ 6 cheaper than Blanchard’s.
