Old and sometimes expired products for poor prices. Bad selection of goods. Come here for your alcohol if you’re too lazy to walk to Blanchard’s on Centre.

We call it ‘the sketchy bodega,’ but the ppl who work there are always really nice. Just… I’m pretty sure beer and wine is what they sell the most of, and their candy may be a lil stale. But if you need beer/wine it’s pretty alright, close, and they got mixers and cigarettes. And are actuAlly nice, not fake-nice, and I’m down with it.

I had to go through the trouble of adding this business in order to review it after my experience there last night. I’ve been to this store many a night(*liver kicks surrounding organs*) and always kind of hated that it was one of two stores to get beer at in Forest Hills. The other is a liquor store up the street and, according to my roomie, does not have any better beer selection or prices. I got a 12 pack of Natty Ice for $ 8 after tax(I guess not too bad). My room mate wanted an 18 pack of Natty Ice, but the lady working there could not figure out the price. I tried to very simply explain to her the logic that 1.5 times my $ 812 pack’s price would be $ 12. She laughed and said«Noooooo!», as if I was trying to cheat her. My room mate ended up having to get a 12 pack since she would not sell him an item she did not know the price of. Other than that they are always moving in slow motion. Their convenience store food selection is very slim(and sketchy). They ARE friendly… But when I have the time from now on, I will walk to Blanchard’s(where they can operate calculators).
