This store has the absolute most WONDERFUL staff I have ever met. The store manager Xavier is so helpful(as is Bianca who I just recently had the pleasure of meeting.) The layout is fantastic and things always look perfect, I have never felt as welcomed into a store as I do at Fossil Boston. When in need of gifts I will always pop by here first because I love their quality products/clothes and how special they make their customers feel!

*This review is purely for their over-the-phone customer service to the Newbury store* I called in to ask for a number to contact about replacing a screw that is missing from my sunglasses. The woman I spoke to never let me finish my sentence, and would constantly interrupt me with repeating the same sentence over and over again saying how their sunglasses have NO warranty(which is false– they have a 1 year warranty), and that there was absolutely nothing their store could do. All I wanted was a telephone number to their warranty and repair line, and she refused to listen to what I wanted to ask. I called their Warranty and Repair line after this frustrating call(I looked online for the number), and they gave me the following information: –sunglasses have a 1-year warranty –send in your sunglasses with proof of purchase, along with a check or money order for $ 8.50 to cover return shipping charges, and your contact information on a piece of paper along with the reason why you’re sending them in –this process will take 3 – 5 weeks to complete –if your sunglasses are out of warranty, there is nothing they can do for you Long story short, you’re probably better off going to a local repair shop to get your sunglasses fixed. Don’t get me wrong about their products– I like them very much. The Newbury store customer service over the phone was just probably the most disrespectful«conversation» I’ve ever been in. No one should be treated this way.

I’m writing this review solely in the hopes that the manager reads this and tells his or her employees to give customers some breathing room. I feel bad complaining about overly attentive service, but I was in here for 15 minutes yesterday and was said hello to, asked if I needed anything, informed of sales, told a shirt would look good on me, etc. SEVENTIMES. I had a gift card, but didn’t end up using it, because I had to get out of there. I will obviously be using the card online, because I can’t bear the thought of going back into this store.

I must have been living under a rock. This store’s been open since November and I just noticed it yesterday. The staff member who greeted me was super friendly and helpful but not overly aggressive. I was also pleased to see that most of the items were much more affordable than I had expected. In the back I discovered their clearance racks with massive amounts of tank tops for $ 6.99! I think they were clearing out the summer items in anticipation of Fall. This may have also been why the selection seemed a bit sparse. I’ll definitely check in here again.

Dear Unilocal-ers. If you have any doubts about Fossil on Newbury then you should be slapped-silly! This is my first review on Unilocal and it’s a dang good one. The staff at Fossil deserve a praise. I was helped by not one but every single employee in the store.(I had been in there for a while but had lots of expectations to be met) and they were all willing to go the extra mile. Thanks guys! I am proud to be one of(if not) the first reviewers of the new Fossil Store on Newbury St. The store is fairly spacious, organized and clean. There is also a distinction between the guys and gals sections. What I liked most about this store was the staff! They are always friendly and treat you like you are the only customer when checking you out. I was so impressed when the cashier associate folded and wrapped my clothing and placed it in the bag.
