Other Unilocalers are right. There’s an issue with the ordering process. It was completely dead in there when I ordered a salad without protein, I.e. It should have taken about two minutes to make it. No one was doing anything behind the counter as I stood there waiting, and then other people that ordered after me got their order. Salad was decent though.

I’ve had good experiences in the past but today I ordered a $ 12 salad that was absolutely horrible. Management should really spend some time training their staff on how NOT to do things… that is, drenching a salad in dressing. There was a puddle of dressing at the bottom of my bowl which made the salad soupy and soggy. Tip for the people making these things… less is more, people can come back and ask for extra on the side if they wish to. I literally had to go buy a side of mixed greens at Au Bön Pain to add to the Freshii salad and it was still not perfect. It reminds of when you ask for 1 cream at Dunkin Donuts and they dump in enough to make the coffee look like a cup of milk(it ruins the coffee!).

The restaurant looks good, and the atmosphere is nice, but the food was a let down. $ 8 for a bowl of almost plain rice with a bit of beans and corn. Two small pieces of avocado, almost no tomatoes either. I won’t be coming back for lunch, especially with all the great options in the neighborhood.

If I could give it Zero stars, I would. The ordering process is dysfunctional, 2 people in front of me had to remind the handlers what they ordered, and quite possibly the worst buffalo chicken wrap I have had in the FiDi in the 20 years I have worked here. Sorry for the truth.

I’m giving this place the benefit of the doubt in that I came at 2pm which is past the lunch rush and could, in theory, mean that they are out of ingredients. If that’s the case, though, they should really let you know beforehand. I ordered the pangoa bowl($ 11, by the way) because it sounded good — brown rice, avocado, black beans, cheddar, corn, cherry tomatoes, cilantro, lime wedge and BBQ sauce. What I got was a giant bowl of rice, corn, and black beans. There was one piece of avocado in the entire bowl, no cherry tomatoes, no lime, and a stray craisin which really drives home the fact that 0 effort was put into making it. The falafel I added as protein was terrible but at least it was present. Definitely never coming back. Don’t waste your money — you can make a giant dish of rice and beans at home for $ 2 and it will likely be better than this was.

I think the drinks here are my favorite thing. I have had a couple now and they are filling in a weird and truly do make me feel as if I am cleansed. I have had a rice bowl and a salad. Unfortunately I didn’t realize how much rice is truly in the rice bowl where it was more of a carb overload when I was trying to be healthy. There wasn’t really enough meat either where I felt like I was getting a proper portion of protein. On the flip side though the sauce combination in the Teriyaki bowl was amazing. If I was a rice person I would have devoured it because every bite was scrumptious. The salads though are pretty good and truly do represent the idea of fresh and healthy. Normally though they add a little too much dressing so I ask for it on the side to prevent the overload. I recommend the Ninja salad among all because I think it has the most variety in flavor and is kind of unique compared to salads that you can be offered in other locations. Overall though, I return to my original statement: Try a drink at this place. I dont know if they actually cleanse me but it sure feels like it.

This place was pretty good. Salad was interesting(although over dressed). I just thought it was a bit expensive for what you get, and prohibitive for making this a go-to place

Got some sort of spicy rice noodle bowl with broccoli and added falafel. The falafel is really awful, I wish I didn’t pay more for it. The bowl is decently tasty, but I give them respect for being very vegan and veggie friendly; it’s nice to go somewhere and have more than one option if you don’t eat meat or dairy. A little more pricey than I’d like, but it’s downtown Boston.

I was introduced to this perfect lunch place by one of my colleagues. This place has got amazingg noodle soups and vegetarian options. I loved their lemongrass soup. The menu is very much on the healthier side with options to customize to ones liking. They also have a nice seating arrangement .My only complaint would be with their wraps. I found they were a bit dry as they usually put in just one sauce or dressing .Not sure if it just happened with one of my orders.

I feel kiiinda positive about the 3 items I’ve tried from Freshii: 1. Tex-Mex burrito + chicken, 2. Buffalo salad + chicken, and 3. Pangoa bowl + steak. The ingredients did seem fresh, and I’m a fan of their healthy food fast mission. Although I did experience what others seem to have mentioned about how they mix up orders or forget ingredients. One thing that impressed me was their perfectly cooked chicken in my Tex-Mex burrito and Buffalo salad. Dry chicken is my biggest fear, but not a problem with Freshii. Not sure if I got lucky, or if that’s a consistent thing as I’d ordered all of my dishes at once for breakfast lunch & dinner on a busy day. I suppose I’ll have to repeat my orders to tell. The Buffalo salad was pretty standard: lettuce, shredded carrots, a sprinkling of tomato, aged cheddar, lots of spicy buffalo sauce and a touch of ranch nicely tossed to save me the extra work. Their menu lists celery, but I don’t remember there being any in my salad. While I know to expect an actual dish to differ from their perfectly modeled food pictures on their website, there is quite a huge difference in the amount of ingredients(besides the cheap fillers like rice or lettuce) that you actually receieve vs. what is pictured. It’s almost enough to call false-advertising(based on my zero years of legal expertise) Or maybe it’s just creative placement of all the ingredients on one side paired with a slanted camera angle.(If salads took selfies, Freshii would be hashtag-InstaFamous) My Pangoa bowl didn’t have the lime wedge or hot sauce(listed on the menu) which is basically the essence of its flavoring. This wouldn’t be an issue usually, except I had it delivered and couldn’t go up to the counter to ask for the missing sauce, so my first impression of it was that it was a tasteless dry bowl of rice. A dousing with my own bottle of Cholula made it right though. The steak was tender enough for mass-made beef. Overall, I would give Freshii another shot.

I love the fact that we have a place with such healthy food, because I’m so tired of the same sandwich shops and bland salad places around this area. Freshii is great, with food being very tasty and plenty of options to choose from. What I dislike, however, is the cost, which is why this review isn’t five stars. I think the price turns people away. Maybe if Freshii offers a special every day for a discounted price, the rest won’t seem so expensive? Just an idea.

Freshii is an amazing alternative to the some of the heavier, higher caloric lunch spots in Fort Point. Their salads and grain bowls are filling and yummy. I also love grabbing frozen yogurt with fresh fruit there in the summer. The staff is always friendly and consistently remembers my face! I highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the Seaport area.

I work around the corner from Freshii and have gone there many times for lunch. The food is very good. However, they tend to mess up the order A LOT(probably about half of the time I go there). The employees must not pay attention when reading the orders. I have had a wrap that they forgot to put chicken in, got a customized soup that they put the wrong broth in, had them put tofu into a rice bowl instead of chicken, etc. They used to always have a huge line, but recently it seems like people don’t go there as often. For the price you are paying, there are other places that you can go.

Freshii is my go to lunch spot. Their breakfast burritos are delicious and all of their quinoa and rice bowls are super fresh. If you are looking for healthy, tasty food, freshii boston is your place.

Freshii is the place I go when I like to pretend I’m rich and don’t care that a bowl of basically brown rice, a few veggies, and peanut sauce just cost me $ 10. I love that this place has so many options(though I usually order the same thing each time) and you can customize your meal. Everything seems fresh and is quite tasty! The menu also has some creative combinations if you’re willing to try something new. What I don’t like is that I don’t feel like I’m getting a good value for my money and the portions are inconsistent. There have been times I have gotten my brown rice bowl and the bowl is about half full and I’m hungry a few hours later. When paying $ 10 or more(if I actually want to add some protein), that’s a lot of money for what turns out to be a mid-day snack instead of a meal. Those are the days I promise myself I won’t go back. Yet I inevitably do go back, though it might be a month or two later. If I get an actual full bowl for once(where the rice is almost touching the lid), I think«hooray! maybe it will be like this forever!». Yet it’s not, the next time I feel ripped off, and the vicious cycle continues. IT’S RICE. It’s cheap. Don’t skimp on it.

I love food and being a vegetarian — but it isn’t always easy to find yummy, healthy, and TRULYFRESH food on the go. I recently had the privilege of sampling Freshii’s salads and wraps at a charity event in Boston and was way beyond what I was expecting. The fiesta salad was AWESOME; really crisp, fresh, and flavorful. Usually to-go veggies taste like plastic and pesticides, but these guys respect REAL. Besides the food, the staff have hearts of gold. You kind of have to if you’re working for a mission-driven place like Freshii. I was on staff at the charity event and at the end of the night the manager came up to us and gave us a huge free salad because she knew we hadn’t had time to eat too much. Beyond generous. EATHERE. YOUWILLNEVERWANTPANERAAGAIN.(BTW these greens are super affordable!!)

As I was writing this 5 star review, I took a bite into my veggie Tex Mex burrito and discovered chicken inside. As a vegetarian for over 17 years, I almost«lost the plot». They were very apologetic, and offered me a frozen yogurt. A free burrito would have been better, but it was a nice gesture anyway. I love their burritos as they toast them

We ordered lunch from here and the salad i got was delicious! I ordered the Superbiotic Salad with chicken. The ingredients were all fresh and they definitely did not skimp on the good stuff. It was tossed with dressing, which usually makes me nervous, but it was not overdressed. Our lunch arrived early which was nice. I would definitely order from here again!

I always thought their salad bowls were on the pricey side but tolerable when I’m too lazy to go far for lunch especially when it’s cold. They recently re-vamped their menu by increasing their prices and removing protein(chicken) from the salad bowl options. It is about a 30% increase from what I already thought was on the pricey side… now it’s just healthy salad robbery. Luckily summer is here. I’ll trek a few more minutes away from the office for a more affordable alternative.
