I have applied for Schengen visa at this consulate twice, and I’m super satisfied with the service each time. There was basically no wait time at the consulate, and my appointment started at the time I booked. I got my passport and visa back within 5 business days. The consulate is also very easy to get in touch by email or phone.
I remember the first time I applied, I didn’t get the proper travel insurance. The consulate staff told me I could email them a copy of the insurance policy later and I don’t need to come in person again.

I called the VISA department at the German Consulate at Boston today about a transit in Munich from Boston to Hong Kong. The woman who answered the phone was immediately in a bad mood and wasn’t helpful at all. She was so mad repeating that everything was on the website. As I graduate student, I automatically check all the information available on the web. I only call when it is necessary. In the end, she didn’t provide any suggestion or information and just hanged up on me without saying a Goodbye. I just don’t know how rude and mean the officers can be in this consulate to those people who seek assistance from them.
