I really like this place! I’ve been here a few times for manicures, and I’ve always been happy with the results. They have good quality polish(Esse, China Glaze, and OPI) and a wide selection of colors. The salon itself, while not the prettiest thing to look at, is at least clean and neat. The nail technicians are always friendly and do a good job. Plus the manicures are only $ 10 — for that price, I can actually afford to go semi-regularly, even with my pitiful college student bank account. I’ll definitely be back often!

If you could give zero stars I would. It took almost three hours for a shellack manicure and regular pedicure because the nail tech kept leaving to go help other customers or move her car. Then the nail tech was doing a french manicure, which was completely crooked and didn’t understand why I was complaining, so the owner had to replace her. The shellack is chipping after four days. This place may be cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. I would stay FARFARFAR away.

Go for your eyebrows! Seriosuly! They do nice work for $ 10! I was so happy I gave her $ 15. It used to be so quiet here you could walk in any time and get stuff done. The horrifying thing, but beneficial thing in the business’s perspective, is that the obnoxious college population has found it. DAMN! I could not wait the half hour for a pedicure as the 2 young moronic girls getting theirs done discussed how to make their nails more flirty for spring break in San Pedro. BARF. That being said, I have had wonderful pedicures here before, and will be a loyal fan of the eyebrow waxes. **MAKEAPPOINTMENTS**.

I’ve been getting my nails done in Boston since I graduated and moved here in 2003. Tara is the owner of this salon and she has been doing my nails for years. I met her way back when she worked at My Nail Salon in the South End. After I moved out of the South End/Back Bay I was bouncing from salon to salon and never found a place I liked. When I found out that Tara had her own salon in my neighborhood I couldn’t have been happier! Together with her husband and niece as well as two other fantastic employees, she maintains a clean and relaxed salon that offers pedicures for 19.99 and acrylic refills for 17 dollars. Tara always does a fantastic job on my nails and the gentleman who does my pedicures gives the most amazing massages after the pedicure is complete. There is a great selection of Essie and OPI colors, as well as gel nail polishes. You can also get a massage while your nails are drying. I also get my waxing done here, the prices are fantastic and so are the results. Book an appointment before hand if you’d like to ask for Tara, otherwise, you can usually walk in and wait no more then 5 minutes for service, if that. I recommend this nail salon to EVERYONE in the area and even to people who might have to travel a bit to get here. It is well worth the trip!

They are so nice here and are very professional. I had a mani/pedi first and instantly felt comfortable with them. I came back the next day for Braz waxing and will be coming back to them again. They did a great job! It’s hard to find a place in boston that makes you feel that comfortable. It might be bit smal but very quiant.

This cozy little gem is tucked away off of Tremont Street(across from the Mission Hill Post Office) and is probably only well-known to the surrounding hospital staff, Mission Hill residents and college crowd — and for a good reason: the salon does not have enough employees to handle more than three to four customers. Although I phrased this as a negative, I love the limited capacity atmosphere so it’s a plus in my book(very relaxing). It’s real easy to book an appointment a few hours before your intended time, as long as you do so in the morning before college students overrun the place in groups(i.e. my experience). Regardless, to get a mani-pedi for $ 35 and for it to be done well fulfilled my needs with a wedding in NYC to attend in two days. I’m clutzy when it comes to staying still and letting the polish dry so the employee always fixed my mishaps. The only drawback: when the place is busy, your appointment will take longer(the age-old problem).
