Very good choice!!! We are visiting Boston, we were walking down the street and just happened to find this place! They had choices for everyon in my picky family of 5! Well worth the wait for hit cooked food. no heating lights for me. And desserts too! The prices are decent as well. Next time in Bost we have to come back!

Yum! I’d return for sure, and it’s not far from my workplace. yippee! What I had: unsweetened iced tea — fountain drink. fountain drink area is basic but clean, well maintained.(what else can you really talk about with fountain drinks?) sweet potato tots — delicious. slightly crispy outside and gooey inside(NOT undercooked) these things are my weakness veggie burger — added cheese, letture, pickle — i’m glad i added the pickle as it added a bit of the juiciness that veggie burgers tend to lack. this burger had just the right amount of spice. how nice!

I was appalled by how small by $ 6 chicken sandwich was. It was smaller than a McDonald’s sandwich. Very disappointing. Also, they read my order incorrectly and forgot to include the buffalo sauce that I had requested.

A hidden gem. A healthier version of McDonalds. The veggie burger never disappoints. The inside is clean and the service is quick and pleasant. The best part is the guy working the register. Always so polite and friendly. The dude works his tail off. Overall — great for a quick bite during the work day lunch hour.

I would usually go to Burger King for lunch down the street, but it recently closed. So I turned around and went to Griddlers, which is close to my school and I’ve been seeing more people get it. I came at around 4, and it was empty. At first I thought it was closed. I opened the door and only one person was around. I got the O.G. combo. Took about 5 minutes. The guy was also very friendly. I liked how the fries and burger both came in burger boxes. I don’t have to worry about having bottom of the bag fries. As for the food. The burger was adequately sized, but did not seem like a quarter pounder like it said. I thought it would come with more toppings, but it only had pickles and they’re sauce which to me didn’t even seem flavorful. It was a pretty dull burger. The real gem were the fries. Waffle fries by default is amazing, and was seasoned well with definitely salt pepper and maybe some garlic in there. The sad part is this 9 something and change meal did not fill me up. I could have gotten a meal from McDonald’s half the price and would be full for the rest of the day. I might come back, but I think only for the fries, and to try a milkshake.

Their food was good. I have the egg sandwich but when I asked to add ham I though for $ 1.00 extra it would at least be a decent size. However the ham only covered a little more than half the sandwich.

The OG Burger is good. I added lettuce, tomato, pickles, Chipotle aioli. To best honest, though, I wouldn’t come back for it. What I would come back for is the seasoned waffle fries! These are the best waffles fries I’ve had. The seasoning is just wonderful. Interior is colorful. The tables are blood orange and lime green with black and red chairs. Staff is really chill. The guy who took my order was so polite and made me feel welcome. I think he could tell that this was my first time here. So in conclusion, GETTHEWAFFLEFRIES.

First off, when I was signing for the order on the tablet, the guy pointed to the tips and encouraged me to tip. I felt bad and I gave a tip. But they deserve zero. This is not a sit down establishment and these two guys only serve the food at their counter, so not sure why they deserve a tip. Moreover, there was no ketchup available not any napkins around. I had to ask for everything because they guys have no clue how to run this place. Now for the food. It’s a ripoff for what you pay. The only good thing was the sweet potato tots. The burger was below average. While the meat tasted decently, the patty was small and the whole burger was cold, much colder than the tots. Will make sure not waste any money here. Worse than McDonalds in many ways and these employees need to learn about customer service, then we’ll talk tips. What a joke.

New Yorker here walks in the door with big expectations. Shout out to the gentleman holding down the fort while being short staffed and the man on the grill you guys won’t crack under pressure not only is the staff very welcoming but understanding to wait times and truly do care about your opinion on how the food taste. Now onto what we are all here my first bite to my burger brings me joy like when big papi hits a homer it’s a party in your mouth. Waffle fries are OMG with that cheese sauce next time I visit bean town I look forward to coming here thank you.

I don’t normally eat burgers or greasy food, but I decided to give this place a try. I was hungry, and the place had an attractive vibe to it(the colors, name, logo, etc). I paid about $ 5 for a burger. I ordered it with the standard burger toppings, but got a burger with pickles. They kindly took it back and put the toppings on the burger, but they weren’t busy, so I was surprised as to how they forgot everything on the sandwich. Anyhow, the food is ok(think Steak n’ Shake type of burger), but left me feeling ‘meh’. I regretted splurging on a burger after eating it. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t necessarily good. The burger wasn’t filling, so I was disappointed that I paid $ 5 for a bland burger. All in all, the place isn’t the greatest, but it isn’t so terrible you can’t eat there. If you are a burger person, maybe you’ll enjoy this place.

Great burgers and waffle fries! I also ordered a vanilla shake that was thinner than milk shakes I’m used to, but it wasn’t too filling and that’s exactly what I wanted. Their service is great. Somehow my order was forgotten, but they were very quick to fix it and were eager to make it up to me.

Any place that has waffle fries as their default fry is top on my list. Burgers are great, bacon burgers especially. I found portion size to be just right. I can’t say anything about their chicken or hotdog offerings, but I would assume they are just as good!

Sadly, this place recently changed their menu and it is significantly lower quality. They changed the sandwiches so you have to specifically ask for what used to be automatic, like sauces and lettuce and tomato, and the waffle fries are just sad and limp and flavorless. Bring back the old menu! Bring back the old ingredients!

If you want a good tasting burger, I would have to say this place would rank fairly well. If you’re looking for good value, I would recommend turning away. A double burger, chicken tenders, fries, and a drink just barely filled me up(although, it’s «bulking season»… Ha ha haaaaa…). I was sold on the fact that the chicken tenders were hand battered and made in house but when I went to eat it, I had nothing to dip it in beyond the typical condiments offered at McDonald’s. It was like I was driving a Ferrari with no tires. Service: properly staffed but slow. Not sure if they were making the burgers fresh right after I ordered, but the guys before me and I had to wait a significant amount of time for a place that seems to identify as a fast food place. Overall: pretty tasty but way too pricy for what you get.

Okay. Not sure why this place has a low rating! I only eat seafood and I got the veggie burger and it was so good. I don’t even know where to begin. The portion size isn’t too small or too big, everything literally melts in your mouth and it’s definitely filling. I also ordered some sweet tots that were really hot, but sweet and crunchy. All for $ 10? Yea, going here a lot more on lunch break. It does get pretty crowded around lunch time though, so be prepared to wait a bit,

Foun this burger joint across from the hotel I was staying. Was with my son and we just wanted a quick lunch so I figured I couldn’t go wrong with burgers and hotdogs. Going in I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome the cashier gave us. He was extremely friendly and pleasant. The place was very clean and the décor was fun and attractive. I ordered a burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, and bacon and waffle fries. For my son, I ordered the crispy chicken strips with the buffalo-ranch sauce, waffle fries, and a chocolate shake. I was very pleased with my burger. It was tasty and it wasn’t greasy. It was also cooked to perfection. The waffle fries were divinely good and not greasy at all which surprised me a lot. My son loved his crispy chicken strips with the buffalo-ranch sauce. I’ve got to say, they were fried to perfection and quite meaty. Bottom line, if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat near MGH that’s relatively cheap and better quality than Burger King up the road, this is the place to go. Great friendly customer service and reasonably good food for a fast food joint.

Nice place. I loved the service, the guys and the girl in the back are very nice and personable. Burger was good and I loved their waffle fries with mayo. Their shakes are also good, not too sweet like in some places. In my opinion it is a nice place to have a quick bite. The establishment itself is not fancy but, it’s a burger joint so who cares lol.

Before I write any more, please let me make it clear that over the past two and a half years that I’ve frequented this establishment, the customer service has always been absolutely top notch. The cashiers have always been friendly and well trained, and woman working the grill is way too talented to be working in a joint like this. Although this is a critical review, none of my criticism has anything to do with any of the professionals that I’ve had the privilege of interacting with over these last couple of years. Back in 2012, when I first got my job in Beacon Hill, I went to Griddler’s because of its convenient location, understated atmosphere, and honest food. A burger, fries, and a soda were $ 7(a little more than what you’d pay at the Burger King up the road) and the quality was consistent if not anything to write home about. If I was feeling adventurous, their selection of original shakes and sandwiches provided plenty of variety. Eventually, this joint became a twice-a-month treat for me and a couple of co-workers. I don’t know if Griddler’s has a new owner or if the owner just decided to take their business in a new direction, but things have taken a turn. Although the price of a burger, soda, and fries has increased by a dollar and change, the drinks have gotten smaller, the burgers now no longer come with lettuce/tomato by default, and worst of all, the waffle fries’ seasoning has taken a nose dive. It’s clear that the increased cost of the food has been invested into decking the restaurant out in glossy candy colored furniture, decorations, and branding while the soda fountain remains as broken as it was two years ago. My fear is that the owners are now placing more emphasis on style rather than substance, and they’re passing the cost of the new paint job directly onto the consumer. Although I have been a regular patron of this establishment, I regret to say that I can no longer endorse this business. If you’re looking for a no-nonsense burger and fries without paying a tax on glitz, check out Fill-A-Buster up the hill. The two stars are for the good memories.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised by this little on the corner yellow awning eatery. Many a times I had passed this location and smelled the yummy greasy goodness that is Griddlers, plus first hand review from my bestie who lives right around the corner. The menu is relatively simple but the possibilities are endless. I had the cheeseburger with lettuce, mayo, mustard, ketchup, and I was surprised at the size of it! it was cooked to perfection, and there was a little bit of grease but hey, I didn’t mind at all! I also sampled the chili cheese waffle fries. The chili and the cheese came on the side so you could dip the fries instead of it coming out a hot, gooey, and soggy mess. They also have fried pickles which I heard were really good, and I will have to indulge on my next trip. Also to complete the menu is a nice array of milkshakes, and lest one forget, they have hot dogs too. The décor is cute inside, well cleaned, with nice window view of Cambridge Street for people watching. If you are looking for a quick cheat day meal, definitely try this place. It is well worth it.

I was very hungry this morning and craving a hotdog, and the one I got from Griddler’s really hit the spot. I would definitely go there again. I took an early lunch so there was plenty of seating in the restaurant(about 11:30 on a Thursday). I got a hotdog(with mustard and diced onions), small fountain drink, and an order of «50÷50» which is half onion rings and half waffle fries. I was pleasantly surprised at the portions — reasonable and filling, although if you’re real hungry you probably wouldn’t have enough to share.(I don’t like it when portions are too large because I don’t like to be wasteful; this was the right sized meal.) The hotdog was sliced down the middle and grilled, so it was really nicely cooked. The casing had a good snap to it, and the bun was the right size(not too much bread, not too little bread) and lightly toasted. The diced raw onions were fresh and gave the hotdog a good flavor and crunch. I wasn’t overly impressed with the onion rings. They were pretty standard. Not bad, by any means, but I’ve had better. Just nothing all that special about them. The waffle fries were really good — fried but NOTGREASY(in fact nothing I ordered was greasy) and nicely seasoned(and I personally hate curly fry seasoning — this seasoning was good). I had the first few fries with ketchup but then decided I liked them enough on their own to go without ketchup. I am not generally a big fan of french fries either — I will eat some maybe once or twice a year, and even then, only if I’m sharing with someone else because I wouldn’t want a whole order. I ate all of these waffle fries! They were hot and fresh too. Good stuff. I only have two small critiques of Griddler’s. One is that they use styrofoam containers/cups(yet I noticed they use«green”/recycled napkins), which seems wasteful — I understand it’s a cost issue, but I don’t like to see styrofoam being used. Second, they put a little too much mustard on my hotdog for my taste, so in the future I’ll ask them to put about half the mustard they normally would. I was able to scoop enough off of the hotdog so that I didn’t mind. If you are looking for a good hotdog in the West End by MGH, or around Beacon Hill, definitely check out Griddler’s.
