I went for a ombré and Elena took care of me. She has really good advice and took thé time to really explain me thé différence between ombré and balayage and finally we figure out that i wanted à balayage and not à ombré. After this mistake solved, i explain her how with thé humidity of Boston it is à nightmare for me to manage m’y hair. So she adviced me thé kératin. And thé end she did me an offre for thé combo and she did an amazing work ! I really recommend Elena, it is à pleasure to be more than satisfy when you go out of thé hairdresser ! In addition she is super nice.

Got a highlight/​balayage/​cut done with Paula. She was absolutely incredible. She was extremely careful and seemed sincerely invested in the outcome of my hair. She was also a blast to chat with during the whole processes. I went from dark brown to basically blonde in one visit and she made me feel really secure about my decision! Definitely ask for Paula! Will definitely be going back to see her from now on!

Called in at 1pm on a Saturday. They accommodated me for a haircut and color appointment at 4. I went in at 3:50 and did not have to wait at all. Most of the salons I went before, I had to always wait for a minimum of 20 minutes.
Elena was my stylist. She was amazing. We quickly went through a couple of pictures to see what I wanted. I have black hair and I did not want to go too light so we decided to go the balayage way.
She quickly did the whole painting-​foiling thing and I had to wait for the color to set in. After about 30 mins she took me for a wash and a cut.
Once the blowout was done, it was just perfect. Just as I wanted! Thank you Elena :) I am definitely going back to this salon!

Yay! I’m so glad I found this salon so quickly after moving to Boston.
I got really lucky this afternoon, walked in and was able to be seen right away due to someone else canceling their appointment. Paula was my hairstylist, and she did a great job.
I got a balayage and I love it. Paula was very detail-​oriented (which I really appreciate) and blended my hair so nicely. She’s also funny and personable. I can’t wait to come back for a haircut next time!

Keratin treatment by Paula!!! Very affordable compared to other Boston salons and works fantastic. Highly recommend getting it done. I took my mom here and she got keratin and color done. She loved both!

Ladies — If you are looking for AA service, then come here and book with Tiffani! She is extremely accommodating and actually listens to what your needs are. It was my first time trying a new color and doing Keratin; after my first appointment I wasn’t too crazy about the color — so being the amazing person she is, she invited me back in to adjust to my liking completely free of charge. Tiffani works extremely hard but always has an upbeat attitude and smile on her face — You are missing out if you go anywhere else!

Over a year later and Paula is still as amazing as ever!!! I got balyage done yesterday and a cut and blow dry and it looked absolutely amazing! Thank you so much to Paula for her great services and great personality :)

My hairdresser Jean, moved here and I came to cut off 10 inches to donate to charity here today. Jean did an amazing job. I have extremely dark, curly, and very thick hair. It’s wavy too. Not many hair dressers are good with my hair. Either they’re intimidated by the thickness, or they’re confident but barely give me a haircut. Jean is the best. Confident, fast and I always leave looking amazing. I have been living iN Boston for 5 years, and it took me 3 years to find this guy. and he is the only person allowed to cut my hair.

I had my hair cut and Keratin straightened by Paula and it was AMAZING!!! My hair is extremely kinky and frizzy so Paula recommended the Keratin and so far I LOVE IT!

I’ve seen Elena once for highlights and once for a cut (both fantastic) and this time she asked if I’d like to try balayage to help blend in the color when it grows out. I’ve never tried it before but I am so glad I did. She was super fast and the color turned out better than I expected.

I’m really happy with my experience here, and the service I got.
I called for a same day appointment, and got one with Elena for a bayalage. I was going to a christmas party the next day, and waited until last minute, as always and was in a panic. Luckily, she said she had some open time.
She took her time with my hair, making sure to make the hilights blend, and not appear chunky. I also told her that I had several strands that were too light and she hand picked them and made sure they were colored darker– just awesome.
The biggest help in service came around 7pm, where I found out I had a major work disaster. I pulled out my laptop, was clearly freaking out, and trying to sort something out for my client, and she was awesome about it, giving me the wifi password and working around me, which Im sure was super difficult.
4 stars because I haven’t gotten a haircut, but when I need one, I plan to come back here, and I will update this review.
Also– all the employees seem to be very happy working here, which is important. I’ve been to salons where one guy is obviously the boss, and everyone just works for him, and it’s awkward (Salon Shimone) and this place has much more of a team feel vibe. It’s nice

Paula was super friendly and fixed my gawd-​awful haircut that I had been living with for the past month and a half. That «aw» in gawd stands for awful, just to clarify.
When I left I was so happy I could’ve cried. I’m REALLY NOT picky about my hair, but when I left the last place where I got my hair cut, I was miserable. My optometrist friend said she could’ve cut my hair better, and I believed her. Now, Paula may have lightly scolded me for staying at the last «salon» when I walked in and it reeked of cigarette smoke, but I rightfully deserved the scolding.
She definitely knows what she’s doing, and I’ll be back in the next few months. Thanks, Paula!

Originally had gone to Haute Coiffure on a Groupon deal. They do a great job and I have been back 2 times since for keratin, color & cut treatments. Everyone is extremely friendly and the keratin lasts for months! Always very pleased with the results. Great service & reasonable prices.

Elena has done it again! I came in wanting to go lighter with my hair color and get a keratin but I was concerned that the keratin would flatten my hair too much as my hair is very fine. Elena suggested that I try the keratin Botox and I love it! She also was able to give me a great base color and highlight based on my skin tone!!! I would def recommend that anyone who is looking for a natural and safe keratin with a little more body the hair Botox is for you!

Paula is the only stylist I will go to now! She is the best at both cutting and coloring hair. She always has great suggestions and the end result is always amazing! I always trust her and tell her to do whatever she thinks is best and she always does. I have gotten two haircuts and have gotten ombré done twice. I can’t wait to keep on coming back!

Went back after 5 months for my second appointment with Elena. I got balayage low lights and a cut. She understood what needed to be done and did a great job! The price was awesome at $ 150 and the color was better than I had hoped for. She does a good job with balancing natural and artsy. Highly recommend! The cut was just a basic trim, as requested, and turned out great.

I’ve been there several times now and always book an appointment with Elena. The price can’t be beat and she is the best hair dresser/​keratin whiz in town: super fun and spunky, a master at cutting hair (quickly too – I’m always done within 20 mins!), and always works hard to give you exactly what you want. She cuts both my roommates’ and my hair, and we are hooked! I would absolutely recommend Elena to anyone who is looking for a fun, friendly PRO at making your hair dreams come true.

George was so kind from the moment I spoke with him on the phone and I had a great feeling from the get go. He squeezed me in for the same weekend and helped me out with the pricing as a first time customer, which is much appreciated. I used the Groupon for the keratin and added the bayalage and cut for a very reasonable price.
I had Elena for a balayage, keratin treatment and cut. The bayalage treatment was fantastic! I trusted her and she totally surprised me in a great way. Had I not been open minded about the outcome I would have been highly disappointed since I went from all black to tons of blond. The keratin and haircut were both quick and efficient.
Overall both extremely kind individuals who are very good at what they do. Will be back for all future hair needs.

Just had a keratin treatment with Elena as an attempt to tame my thick, curly hair. (At a certain point, a girl gets tired of waking up looking like medusa). She patiently explained the differences between the two types of keratin treatment offered at Haute, and I picked the option that doesn’t require waiting several days till washing your hair. An hour and a half later, I left the salon with what felt like a stranger’s straight, silky locks. I washed my hair the next day, and it air dried in frizz-​free, loose waves — exactly what I’d hoped for. I absolutely love it. The treatment claims to last for several months — I’ll keep y’all posted.
Just one note: there was no chemical smell during the treatment, but my hair now smells pretty funky when it’s wet. The odor goes away entirely when my hair is dry. I called the salon, who told me the smell should go away soon…
And lastly, FYI: they only accept cash tips.
