Very friendly and always trying to find you a deal! I haven’t had an unpleasant interaction with a single employee. Also, the in-house tailor is fast and efficient. Highly recommended!

I went in, bought a bow tie(3 areas of selections) and suspenders. It was a pleasurable experience. When I checked out I was notified that the suspenders were half price. oh happy day

I went in here for the first time yesterday to pick out a couple of shirts and ties for my boyfriend’s birthday. I can barely stand shopping for myself, so wasn’t overly excited about having to match shirts and ties. I figured a sales person would surely help me. I walked over to their main display near the entrance with shirts and ties already matched. I found 2 I liked, but had trouble finding the right size. There was a sales man standing near the register, but he never offered to help me. After I asked him, «can you help me?» then he obliged. One of the shirts I liked wasn’t available in the size I needed, so he helped me find another nice shirt/tie combo. The basic«traveler» button downs were 2/$ 99 or 1 for $ 60. I thought I was getting the 2 for $ 99 deal, but it turned out one of the shirts was on clearance for $ 27, so I ended up getting 2 for $ 87. I didn’t see any signs for deals on ties, so I asked the sales man if there was a deal. He told me he could do buy one, get one. Ties were $ 99.50. I got 2 nice looking and seemingly good quality shirts and ties for $ 198. My boyfriend doesn’t have any clothing from here in his closet, so I’m hoping he likes them and they wear well. One negative was that I asked for a gift box. When I got back to my office, I realized the gift box was only big enough for 1 shirt/tie. This was annoying because I walked from my office in the Seaport, over a mile away) and I went back today out of my way to get another. The gift boxes are very nice though. I’d shop here again and will recommend that my bf checks it out for anything else he needs.

My wife game 3 shirts from Jos A Bank for Christmas. She got them at the Boylston store. I had to go on 12−28−12 to the new store on 70 Franklin store to exchange them. I was waiting for more than 30 minutes and they told me «you will need to go back to the Boylston store. Really! I had to go back to my office with the same 3 shirts, with a huge frustration and I lost my lunch time for nothing. I didn’t said anything to them, but they should exchange it at deal later with the internal issue. I will go to the Boylston store to return the shirts. I won’t buy anything else from Jos A Bank. What a bad experience. That is not the way to do business, SERVICE. SERVICESERVICE is the most important part on a business.
