I called to make an appointment this week and the girl on the phone was so rude. I cannot believe a place is in business when employees have that kind of attitude! I just asked where they were located so I could stop by to make the appointment in person. Her response: «We don’t do that, you cannot come by».
Wow.

To make it short & sweet… HORRIBLE! It took several weeks of calling & emailing to make the appointment and if it weren’t for the fact that I had a Groupon, I would have given up! Finally spoke with a real person & scheduled the appointment. I spear you the additional unprofessional details and jump to the result… Initially, I loved them! And once again spent 2 – 3 weeks trying to get the touch up appointment schedule, which was included in the service package, and never heard back from anyone… And I even copied the owner. Speed up a couple of weeks and they were falling off anyway, and now exactly a month later I have stumps for lashes were before they weren’t dramatic but they were just fine w/​o it! I guess you appreciate what you have when it’s gone, right? Although, I do have to say that I loved the initial look and would consider getting them again just never here!

I got eyelash extensions here a few months ago and I’m hooked! It’s so nice to just wake up looking like I have makeup on. Have never had a problem with anything burning my eyes or the lashes not lasting. I’ve had them done twice and am about to go back for a 3^rd time. It’s important to take care of them properly to maximize your results. It’s sometimes tough sitting still with my eyes closed for that long, but it’s worth the results. I don’t know if I can afford to keep up with these forever, but I will as long as I can!

Ive had my brows plucked/​tweezed here every month by Melissa. She is great but recently moved. Suzanne the owner did mine last time and also did a great job. I’m happy with the job they do, and its worth the $ 40 to me.
They DO need to do a better job at answering the phone during normal business hours. I don’t think they have a full-​time receptionist and thats annoying and unprofessional.

JUST THE WORST
I was in town and the person who normally does my brows was unable to fit me in so I figured, hey, this place is devoted to hair around the eyes so they must know what they are doing. So, so, so dreadfully wrong was I. A half hour into my session with a meek woman who seemed like she had never done this before, I asked to see what she was doing. It should not have been taking that long. I was suspicious because usually I am DYING from the pain of plucking but I literally felt nothing. When I did look I was horrified. They were fucked up. Do you know how dangerous it is to the look of your entire face when your brows are jacked? Her resolution was to have another person work on me. I was sent to a tall, large, black woman. I felt, somehow, that they were thinking I might be intimidated by this tough woman. Little did they know that I am black too so that had no impact. What more do I have to say that this was the worst brow job I have ever had. It took forever for them the grow out and they are still a little screwy. The owner was there and she apologized that they didn’t understand what I wanted. This had nothing to do with miscommunication — who asks for lopsided brows?! I would stay as far away from this place as you can. The worst.

A recent thread reminded me to review this place. I had a big holiday party in December, and I decided to treat myself to some flashy lashes.
1) I met the owner and she was a bubble head.
2) The lashes were expensive and really did not look any different that when I do my own fake lashes-​wtf.
3) They started coming off after 3 days. Again, wtf.
Save your money ladies!

I am very disappointed. absolutely disappointed.
I went there to wax my eyebrows but the work was poorly done. I actually do a better job at waxing my eyebrows.
I would NOT recommend this place to a friend. They are clean and stuff but… poor value.

after a week of having them in, a ton of lashes fell out. i looked like a freak with gaps in my eye lashes. but i didnt really know what to do until my 7 day complimentary touch up.
i went in and usually under normal circumstances, this would take about a half hour but since i lost so many lashes, this took an hour. ugh i was soo ansty and i seriously hate the atmosphere and the chair beds they have are soo uncomfortable. also the ppl who work there have a tendency to qhisper to one another and talk to eachother. ugh. i guess its normally quiet during the week but on fridays and saturdays, its loud as hell. i really wanted to nap cuz after a long halloweeen, i wanted my beauty sleep.
anyway, i kept squirming around and they kept sayng sorry, but since i had lost many lashes, this was why it was taking so long. the nice part was i was laying on my hair elastic which was starting to dig into my skull and the aestetician kindly pulled it off. ok, now i can lay still.
but after an hour, i must say, they were looking better.
they made them a bit thinner than last time since my lashes are pretty fragilea nd cant hold much volume. i did buy this lash stimulator which i should see results in about 3 weeks, she told me she could see some baby lashes growing! yay!
anyway, i still think the lashes are a bit high maintenance and i will probably just let these ones naturally fall off. i do reccomend getting them if you have a fancy event to attend as they are awesome and everyone notices them.

Anyone who has unwieldy eyebrows (such as I do) knows how hard it is to find that perfect shape, so one can only imagine how excited I was at the prospect of a beauty salon 100% focused on eyes! One can also only imagine my disappointment when I showed up for my eyebrow appointment and an inexperienced esthitician did what may have been the worst eyebrow shape I’ve ever had.
To luxlash’s credit, the atmosphere is beautiful and very relaxing.
