My go to lunch spot 3 – 4 days a week. Excellent sandwiches, chicken wings, to die for soups, salads are the bomb(Caesar dressing is so so good), and they have a «shot of the day» which is some delicious sandwich that isn’t on the regular menu. Breakfast is also delish, real bacon, not that thin crap at other restaurants. They’re busy with a line out the door at lunch, but always ready to serve you with a smile and friendly attitude. Dave, Ellie, Jen and the guys are the best neighbors and friends on Canal Street. Love the food! Love the people.

Love this place for weekday breakfasts. Order the Egg McJagger for under $ 4 and you get a great breakfast sandwich and a free hot cup of coffee! The experience is truly what you expect from the north end and the owner and all the employees are so nice. Also, make sure you get a grilled blueberry muffin that’s my favorite!

Actually have these locations where you wish to attempt another thing however, you understand how something that is excellent is? Mullys is certainly some of those locations in my experience. The chicken salad snacks!!! Below it is large chucks of poultry, put in your ready as well as a newly cooked sub move. The Reubenis are excellent too! Make it happen early trigger it shuts at 2:00pm. And also have your purchase prepared BEFORE you can the table, particularly at around midday. Virtually no time for«Hmmmm What Is great here?»

Sando was ok. Nothing special. Ate it at one of the two seats in the place. Had a drink and asked if they recycled as I was leaving. The crabby lady said no because they don’t have enough«room». Excuse me? If it’s all stuffed in the trash it takes up the same amount of room you dummy. I then said its 2015 everyone recycles and she got all mad and butt hurt. For sure wouldn’t go back.

First time trying Mulligans. Small place but super friendly staff. Lots of amazing sandwich choices and also a ‘shot of the day’ special. I went with the Ruben and it was one of the best that I had ever eaten. Fresh dark rye bread, quality lean corned beef, tasty sauerkraut and lots of melted Swiss cheese. It comes with a nice big pickle that was also excellent. I will most definitely return. This is a place where I want to try everything on the menu. Hole in one!!!

The place is hidden on Canal Street, but the food is worth finding it for. The workers are pleasant yet speedy and make sure you get exactly what you want. My favorite is their pastrami sub, especially when it’s included on the combo of the day. If you’re in the area you owe it to yourself to grab a sandwich and soda from here.

My go to lunch spot. Place gets really busy at lunch so its best to call ahead to avoid the line. Their shot of the day is always a solid choice. Staff is very friendly and is always willing to make you whatever you want.

I work right near Mulligan’s, and I’m so glad I discovered this gem! The sandwiches were as good as I expected, and and everyone that works here is super friendly. I’ve had the chicken salad and the chicken parm for lunch. Both are delicious, and portions are very generous. Prices aren’t terribly expensive. They also have really good breakfast deals. You can get a breakfast sandwich and a coffee for $ 4. Technically buy the sandwich and get a free coffee — but the coffee is small(probably equivalent to a Starbucks short cup). Fast service too.

Great breakfast place. Small, good food. Mostly takeout, but there are two stools if you want to eat there

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Best sandwich My wife and I have had in a long time. Great pickles, no fuss, non-sit down kind of place with decent prices and huge sandwiches with fresh ingredients. Had the Pinehurst and my wife had the Turkey club. Both sandwiches plus a drink for me was under $ 20. Given the size of sandwiches and being in Boston, that was a cheap lunch.

Mulligans is hands down my favorite sandwich spot in Boston. There are weeks where I’ll go every single day for lunch. Out of the hundred sandwiches I’ve eaten I’ve never had one bad experience or one single complaint. Their food is always fresh and always consistently good. Never a mushy tomato or soggy lettuce and the breads are always fresh. After trying just about every sandwich on the menu I settled in on the BLT. I’m addicted to their BLT. I can’t stop eating it. I thought to myself how hard can it be to make a BLT. I went to the lunch shop right next door to order their BLT for my one day experiment. I walked away with a new appreciation for Mulligans. Their sandwich was horrible in comparison. The very next day(today) I went back to Mulligans for yet another BLT. I’ve concluded my experiment. Mulligans knows how to make a good sandwich and it’s all in the quality of their ingredients. Favorites: **BLT on white toast, Hilton Head, Reuben Tips: Know what you want to order before you’re up and have your money ready OR Call ahead for faster service. Don’t leave without a cookie.

Quick, efficient service and delicious sandwiches. Breakfast deal for a sandwich with a coffee for under $ 4 is a steal and you can’t go wrong with any of the lunch options. The workers will learn your name and order quickly and are always good for a laugh or two. Personal favorite lunch special is the«Sergio Garcia» buffalo chicken wrap.

This place is a staple for take out lunch. The line get’s super long but don’t let this discourage you. The staff is a well oiled machine, they are quick and efficient. Do everyone a favor and know what you want by the time you get to the counter. I suggest looking to see what the special is that day(shot of the day). The food is amazing, the price is great for Boston, you won’t be hungry after finishing lunch here. Please note: this is a take out place, there is no seating.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a long time but couldn’t remember my Unilocal password! I work in the area, and Mulligans is my favorite go-to spot for lunch! Everyone there is so friendly, and they make a point to get to know their customers. They even took the time to call my coworker today and tell him his favorite sandwich is the special. On top of it all, the sandwiches are fantastic. Michael makes the best double decker reuben I’ve ever had, and if you’re into a standard tuna club, there’s is definitely up to par(yes, I made a golf reference on purpose). My only criticism is that they don’t have a way to add a tip on a credit card payment! I don’t always carry cash but they deserve to be recognized for their great service. Make sure to have some spare dollars if you plan to pay with a card!

Expected slightly lower prices from a carry-out joint, but the food was great(got the Pebble Beach, turkey avocado wrap), the staff was friendly, and despite the line the wait wasn’t very long — my order was ready before I even checked out! Would definitely come back.

When I travel I usually stick to the rule of doing what the locals do. So when food is involved the thing I scope for is a long line. That being said, I’ve been in Boston a while now I still look for the lines & around the West End neighborhood this place consistently has the longest ones. Don’t be daunted by the mass of people crammed into this small space because the crew here are the true sandwich artists with years of experience under their belts. The best tip I can give you is get that order ready when they call you up. This is a well oiled machine & you do not want to be the broken cog. Now for the food. Their made to order, overstuffed sandwiches are excellent. Fresh ingredients that are combined with thought & care. For lovers of real food, their chicken salad is excellent. Packed with chunks of white meat chicken & little filler plus just the right amount of mayonnaise. I like my in a club which was layered with fresh lettuce, tomato & a health amount of crispy, salty bacon. All their sandwiches come with chip or for a dollar extra, freshly made French fries. Another gem on their menu is the homemade soups. Perfect on a fall day & still wonderful the other three seasons. The chicken noodle soup was flavorful & filled with tender noodles, white meat chicken, carrots & celery. This place is golf themed but they definitely do not take it slow. The staff here has found a way to get the lines moving without being rude or short & I really appreciate that. If lines are not your thing then just call ahead. Either way, for a good sandwich this is time well spent.

I love Mulligans so much I came back twice in an hour. First was lunch for me and my wife… an amazing rueben sandwich, a pastrami sandwich on rye and a bowl of chili with cheese … dear lord! So if you’re a rude one star person because«they asked you what you wanted on your sandwich» or you«asked a dumb ass question at 9 am» then you ought to be … pleased with yourself. It was about you. they asked what YOU wanted and you hate hate hate. horrible. I came back an hour later and ordered 3 more subs, another rueben and took them home to the kids. My kids are so lucky… Mulligans treats them right. These people work hard. Sandwiches are NOT overpriced(grow up, look what Obama has done for healthcare. the same for food price increases). These establishments can no longer take one for the team with rising food costs, they have to pass them on. With that said these sandwiches/subs/salads/chili and soup are reasonably priced. Love Mulligans and can’t wait to return.

Our sandwiches here were delicious and prepared quickly and with a smile. Despite the efficiency of the employees, they were exceedingly friendly, which I appreciated. The sandwiches were better than I expected from the descriptions — I had the Hilton Head, which I never would have put together myself, but I quite enjoyed. The combination worked really well with the honey mustard. The hot pastrami was also a favorite, despite the fact that the meat was a little fattier than we were used to — still good. We showed up AT noon on a Friday and took the 2 seats in the place. More people showed up about 10 minutes later and they all ate in parks nearby, it looked like.
