The food here is horrible! The soup, sandwich, dessert wasn’t good at all. The only thing in there i’d give a star are the drinks: the lemonade and ginger beer. Otherwise, this place gets ONE star. My father in law and i couldn’t even swallow our food, it was that bad. Coming from a true foodie this place isn’t worth it!

Smaller than the one I originally visited in Copley on Boylston. To me, seems like very limited seating at this location but I was here on an odd Sunday. The salad I selected on the pricey side, but very fresh and good quality. The range of bottled drinks did not include regular bottle or sparking water, which kind of puzzled me or they were just out, because it was Sunday. Fully expect they do a brisk business during the week during the lunch rush, probably best for take out this location, etc,

Just picked up a chicken/avocado salad. It’s my go to at pret and I’ve had it dozens of times at various locations. I got to work, opened the salad and it smelled like rotten lettuce. At closer inspection I saw that a good portion of the spring mix was black, wilted, and had gone bad. Be careful and inspect before you buy!!!

Good ambience, coffee, soups/salads, and sandwiches. Plus a nice selection of pressed juices. Everything is overpriced, however.(E.g. 6 bucks for a small pressed juice). Worst of all, their wifi never works. Also, no restroom.

I met some girlfriends for lunch and there was a really great space and surprisingly a lot of open seats for a noon weekday, but that was convenient! Unfortunately, one of our group got her bag stolen, so ALWAYS watch your stuff(goes without saying but sometimes we need a reminder?) I had the sausage fennel soup with some bread and it was light but filling. Probably wouldn’t go out of my way to go back since there are a million other spots like this right nearby… but I feel like the price point was on par with everything else in the area. If you have a big group though, its a good quick option!

I went there this morning to meet a friend and have breakfast together. We picked out our sandwiches and placed our beverage order(two hot chocolates). They were absolutely horrible. No taste at all. It taste like plain hot water. They weren’t that busy so I confronted them. They were very rude. I work in the building and this was my first time going there… looks like I won’t be back.

I went through a phase where I was really, really into Pret a Manger. My first visit, I fell in love with the California Club and even got a chocolate chip cookie on the house because it crumbled as it was being bagged for me – best policy ever! To seal the deal even more, the cookie was the perfect balance of slight crunch on the outside and gooey dream of an inside. I frequented often for the sandwich and sometimes the chocolate chip cookie, but found that the cookie was very inconsistent – it was often over baked and too hard. A few months ago, I was bewildered and saddened to see my favorite sandwich(and one of their most popular) – the California Club – reformulated with the ever-polarizing ingredient, cilantro! Admittedly, it’s not as in-your-face as cilantro can be, but it’s still definitely a no-no for me. So sad. I tried to redirect my love to their Balsalmic Chicken and Avocado sandwich, but it’s a little bland. So now I occasionally frequent for a croissant, which are especially delicious – flaky crisp shell with buttery, fluffy layers on the inside – in the morning.

Sanduíche maravilhoso, mesmo sendo um pouco salgado de preço, você não vai se arrepender. Os sucos são muitos caros. Local agradável e bem espaçoso Perfeito para um lanche agradável e tranquilo

Overpriced as all Pret a Mangers’ are but quality of the food is good. This Pret in particular has LOTS of seating. I got the fennel sausage soup with a bread, and a chicken mozzarella cold sandwich on a baguette. Both were excellent and left me pretty full. The sandwich was especially quite large, which is nice. I hate places that charge a lot and skimp out on portions. The service is adequate. There are public restrooms, and the restaurant as a whole is very clean. I’ll definitely be back. Probably this week in fact…

Great place to work! A lot of space, nice tables, comfortable chairs and several power outlets. I come here quite often and the Internet is not working well for a while. Have already shared the problem with them but nothing was done . The food and drinks are delicious and by the way, I’m not a dark roast fan, but Pret’s blend is amazing!

Insanely nice people work here, the chairs are comfortable(I sat on one of the little sofa-like things and drank my tea) and this is a huge improvement over the Au Bön Pain which used to be next-door(remember how awful that was??). Having only been to PAM in Europe, this was my first visit to a US location, despite their being open in Boston for a while now. They have made it OK to get a sandwich — or something else — ready packed and not make you feel as though you have stopped in at the Mobil station for a meal. My only two complaints: no Equal for my tea! Only things out were Splenda and Sugar; hey, I like the fake stuff in the blue packet! I really do! Also, the music was blasting; had I been with someone, I don’t know if I would have been able to hear them. Mike at the register today at 1:00PM was incredibly friendly ~

Dont get me wrong, i think Pret is a wonderful fast-food alternative(since everything is fresh, and it’s not burgers and fries) and i love that they are finally in Boston after discovering them in London and watching then sprout up in Chicago, DC, and NYC. This is a great location and a nice big space, and the food is fresh and relatively healthy. But on this first visit to this location, the staff member who helped me was dour, dressed decidedly casually(in sweats!), and shuffled over the the register. When i asked for a roll to go with my soup(usually standards at Pret) I was curtly told«sorry, no rolls today». This in a place that prides itself in backing food at each location. How about offering me some bread, instead, or a free croissant, which were clearly visable in front of me in the case. Utter customer service failure, making me much less likely to visit this location again.

Clean facility, convenient location for the businesses in the area, and moves pretty quickly. I was very disappointed that the Chai Latte I ordered was just hot milk that she then put a chai tea bag in. It tasted like nothing but warm milk and cost close to the same as a Starbucks chai(which tastes drastically better.) Next time, I’d probably walk the extra few blocks to get better quality for my money.

Wish we had more of these and fewer McDonald’s. Yes a bit more costly but with much better ingredients and service. Just came in for coffee and snack and staff was very friendly. In fact they comped my coffee as closing was an hour away. Cute interior and nice to not be in a Starbucks for a change.

Absurdly overpriced. The only thing reasonably priced is the coffee, which also happens to be very good coffee, and that is the only thing I return for on occasion. Every ‘meal’ I’ve had here is very underwhelming, absurdly overpriced, and leaves me still hungry 30 minutes and $ 12 later.

Warm coffee to begin a day of shopping. We needed a quick breakfast before shopping a bit. I grabbed a fruit and yogurt parfait, fresh fruit with some thick yogurt topped with granola. My fav is when the yogurt is thick. In addition to my yogurt, I have a café latte, smooth and not burnt tasting. My friend grabbed their almos croissant which was flakey and topped with toasted almonds. My favorite coffee place of this trip.

Great café to study and grab a quick bite to eat. Plenty of healthy options with good quality food. The falafel salad with pomegranate seeds and hummus was great! The Moroccan lentil soup was too thick, and wasn’t really a soup. Tasted fine, but was not very appetizing. Fresh juice. Love this place for a nice study spot in downtown.

For sandwiches and service that will knock my socks off for about the same price, I always go next door to Grassroots, but when I’m in a big rush, Pret does the trick. In and out in a couple minutes. The staff is generally pretty friendly and courteous — no complaints. I also love that this place has fresh-squeezed juices, which are a little expensive but totally worthwhile(I’m not sure there’s anywhere else near my office that has something similar). The actual sandwiches, salads, etc. have always been all right, nothing too special but satisfying enough for something I can snag quickly on my lunch break. The food is sometimes a bit disorganized. I’ve mistakenly ended up with the wrong wrap a couple times now because they were on the wrong area of the labeled shelves. I know this isn’t just a problem with customers putting things back in odd spots because it happened recently when I grabbed a wrap that a staff member had just brought out. I didn’t check the label on the actual sandwich and ended up disappointed when I got back to the office with something completely different than what I wanted. Partially my own carelessness, but something to keep in mind when you visit(and that I’ll certainly remember next time I need a quick bite).

I was walking around in the rain and this was a wonderful place to stop in for a hot latte and cookie. The staff was friendly and efficient. The latte was made from organic espresso beans and it tasted wonderful. I ordered a oatmeal cookie and it was delicious. The shop was large and had lots of seating. It’s a great place to stop in for a treat.

I’ve come here three times this week… just for a coffee and maybe un pain au chocolate. It’s delicious and tasty. Coffee is fresh and not badly priced. I like this location because it’s convenient and employees are extremely friendly. I had been to the location on Boylston Street by the BSC. Service was okay and I thought the price was a little steep for what you get. I decided that I enjoyed their breakfast items more as I’m a picky eater and didn’t like much of the sauces and cheeses in the pre made sandwiches. Giving Pret A Manger another chance was a good idea, and at this rate I’ll be living at the Downtown Crossing location. I wonder if it’s sacrilegious to use a DD koozie for a coffee from Pret… hahaha
