Delicious food! Great prices! Awesome service! Cool vibe PLUS we had our 3 kids with us and it was so nice!!! I will be coming back to this place!!! For my family of 5 with two pizzas and an appetizer it was $ 60…for the vibe of the restaurant plus hello, you’re in north end… this place is GREAT!!! Our girls said it was the best pizza they ever had, and they eat a lot of pizza! A million thumbs up!

My wife and I came here for our 7 year anniversary. Quattro made us feel like we were being welcomed into their home. The staff was amazing and very friendly. We sat at the bar that overlooks the brick oven and rotisserie. It was great to see the staff speaking Italian and cooks interacting with the customers like they were family. We started with blueberry margaritas, which were incredible! Then had the arrincini, which was flavorful. We then had the prosciutto pizza. I highly recommend this. It was the perfect blend of spices. We will definitely be frequenting Quattro again.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff. We were able to get in without reservation. We tried the polenta and mushrooms appetizer to share but didn’t realize it was soup or like a soup until it arrived. I tried the fettuccini fini al ragu bolognese pasta, which was quite good. I would recommend the restaurant.

Loved sitting at the bar on a snowy day. Their rotisserie was a natural fireplace. Eggplant parmigiana was good but we love the pizza. Well priced. Would definitely come back.

I love Quattro restaurant! Reasonable price, awesome service and excellent options. Grilled lobster was awesome but they also have a yummy grilled chicken and a wide variety of thin crust delicious pizzas. They also have a good choice of wines or any type of fancy cocktails. They also offer gluten free options. Place is very cozy and well located. Really recommended!

Perhaps the only feature an open in Boston past 10. That’s the only good thing. I felt very rushed while eating. My plate was decent but not worth 16 bucks. Definitely will make an effort next time in Boston to go to dinner earlier since everything closes early.

Looks nice from the outside, when your inside the décor is nice, chairs are comfortable, and it has a great ambient atmosphere. The food was good, not great. Could have been better. Service was good not great as well.

Quattro is totally fine. I wasn’t blown away, I wasn’t disappointed. First of all, the prices here are far more reasonable than in many other North End locations, and the atmosphere is way less hectic. We sat by the open windows, which was really really nice. The food itself is fine. Everything feels a little. .. standard. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again, but for something convenient and chill in the North End, it’s on my list.

Quattro is one of my favorite places for pizza in the North End, although what I think really makes it stand out is the ability to have perfectly fired pizza, amazing pasta, and roasted meat all at the same place in a very casual setting that charges reasonable prices. My 2 most recent visits were during lunch, and the Quattro Stagioni and Margherita pizzas were well worthy of praise. They have 4 beers on tap, including Peroni, an Allagash offering, and several others, providing enough variety for just about anyone, although true beer snobs might be disappointed. There are a number of wines, served unfortunately at room temperature, but given the volume of wine that they serve, it’s likely impractical to try to chill everything to the proper temperature. In addition to the pizza, I’ve previously enjoyed the roast leg of lamb as well as several of their pasta offerings, which I’m told are sourced from the DePasquale(now Bricco) pasta shop. Overall, this is a solid spot which is greatly improved from the former Il Panino Express(which will always hold a special place in my heart but a sentiment that is not shared by most). It’s a place I’m always happy to go to, particularly on a night when a reservation in the North End is hard to come by.

The pizza here was so good! It really reminded me of the pizza I had on my trip to Italy years ago. So delicious!

Quite fine really! Artichoke pizza to start. Messy but awesome. Reasonably priced too. Split an order of spaghetti/meatballs thinking that it would be safe and easy. Looked super normal when it arrived… but upon tasting it was fantastic. Total surprise. Just the right size portion and had two meatballs that were spot on. Nice place on the inside. Close quarters with other diners though and very noisy. Service was pretty good. Not really a place to dawdle though. I’d go again.

My friend and I started branching out from our respective go-to North End restaurants, wandering around together until we see a new place that neither of us have tried. On a recent visit, a waiter was standing outside Quattro inviting people to try out the place, and we took him up on it. I tried the tagliatelle with seafood. Seafood wasn’t the freshest and the sauce and pasta was disappointing. It wasn’t inedible, but nothing remarkable. My friend had the chicken and mushroom ravioli, which she said was fine. The pizzas looked better than what either of us got. For those that hate Italian food, there are three different kinds of burgers on the menu. Wine list was okay but the cocktail list was terrible — mostly fruity and sugary with terrible liquor(think SoCo and Pinnacle vodka).

Average Neapolitan pizza in a nice joint. Service was excellent, my drink was always filled. I would have given this place 4 stars, but $ 16 for a personal goat cheese, fig, arugula pizza is just way too much money IMHO. The pizza itself was decent, thin semi crunchy/burnt crust(Although I do not think Neapolitan pizza is supposed to be crunchy– I just came back from Naples 2 months ago). The toppings are a good balance of salty and sweet. You can definitely taste that goat cheese too, which is a plus in my book. Other tables got bread, we didn’t…which was a bit strange. Overall, good location for a bite to eat, but you’ll have to reach into your pockets if you get food and a drink for lunch.

I have been here twice for lunch and I am just not a fan. 1. No menu on the window so you are forced to go in and ask. 2. Service — didn’t refill water and didn’t check on table. 3. Food — Just meh. They start you off with bread and oil. I ordered the Panini/Sandwich for lunch(the sirloin), it was the same bread as the bread and oil. Way too much bread. I didn’t eat it. The fries that came with it were drowning in the oil. Of all the food, I only ate the Sirloin which was okay. My coworker got the Panini with prosciutto and mozzarella. She didn’t like it either. They overdid the olive oil and she said she didn’t taste any vinegar. I will not be returning.

The stuffed calamari was fantastic. Tagliatelle with mixed seafood in red sauce very flavorful however there were a few random shards of shell that could have been problematic if I wasn’t paying attention. Overall a very good meal and casual atmosphere with attentive service. Bravo.

I am really impressed, actually – open late on Sun night and serving up quality food: eggplant parm and steak(delicious) with crispy fries. I was very happily full after feasting on these items and the bread + oil(with black pepper). I was sad to see the sub place go, but I would come back to Quattro.

I liked this place. Maybe it was because we got a seat right by the window, and its fun to people watch down Hanover. Our waitress was nice, there when we needed her. Food was pretty good! Had the octopus salad and we cleaned the plate. Had the Mare/seafood assorted fish! Very fresh, platted nicely. Another shareable dish. MYFAVORITE(still makes my mouth water) the stuffed calamari… so. damn. good. I would go back just to get ten of those. It was like a stuffed shell with ricotta, but a calamari shell instead– I am probably describing this terribly, but I swear its delicious. I have also tried their fig, arugula and goat cheese pizza– less than memorable.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat with my daughter and according to the young future Unilocaler, she’s giving this place a B-. One bite into my octopus salad and I totally agreed. The tomatoes, string beans and onions were flavorful and the amount of octopus plentiful but I just couldn’t get over the chewy texture. It took forever to be able to chew it apart; so unlike the octopus you come to expect in the North End. We also shared the Margarita pizza and honestly, it was nothing special. Wasn’t bad but definitely not what you expect a North End trattoria to deliver. Overall, not on the list to try again when there’s so many great contenders to the left and the right.

Let me be clear: we went here because this was the only restaurant that was opened in North End. In the end, we thought Quattro was an okay restaurant that would not be on the top of the list. The atmosphere was pretty nice. We sat at the open window so we weren’t isolated from the North End ambiance. Inside, you can see the large ovens roasting chickens and a brick oven baking pizza. Sitting in the restaurants allows you feel both the modern vibe of the building décor and the antique North End exterior outside. Quattro felt like a good place for a date or a friend hangout for the atmosphere itself. Unfortunately, the food was not up to par. We ordered Boston bibb salad(~$ 9) and parma prosciutto pizza(~$ 15). The salad was rather ordinary despite the price, and the pizza was slightly decent. In short, food is nothing to rave about. I would not come back to this place if I had a choice, but I would not complain if this were my only choice. The bottom line is Quattro is a restaurant with great atmosphere but mediocre food.
