Red Sox Team Store

I was having a great, fun family day in Boston. Everything was perfect; meals, weather. I really couldn’t have asked for more. That was, until I stopped by the Red Sox Team Store on Yawkey Way…
I knew prices would be expensive as I have been to this store before, and they were. Like, really expensive. That’s not where my 1-​star review is coming from though. I really wanted to stop by here to return a ball cap that was purchased for me as a gift. Unfortunately it was a bit too small so I wanted to go up a size. It had all tags and stickers on it, including a barcode from this specific store. I wasn’t looking for a refund, just an exchange.
The girl working at the register was nice, I believe her name was Tamia. She was happy to exchange for me but got pulled away to work on something else. One of the managers, Maggie, stepped in and explained that I couldn’t exchange without a receipt. Again, the hat was new and unworn.
Maggie was EXTREMELY rude, speaking over me and not allowing me to explain myself. I found out that she actually runs their online store and have read other negative reviews about her. It’s a shame that they have to treat people unfairly. I instead bought a hat on the street, well away from the park. I refuse to give these people my money :)

Here’s how awesome these folks are:
I was in town for the Boston Marathon and the night after we attended a game. I went into the Red Sox Team Store to find a hat. Let’s just say I was a little ambitious in my purchase and I walked out of the store with a on-​the-​field flat billed hat.
Once I got home and back to reality it became clear that I was never going to wear that hat. It just wasn’t me. I figured there wasn’t much I could do at this point considering that I didn’t have a receipt and I also didn’t have any of the original tags. But, I thought, I’ll give it a shot.
So, I took a screen shot of my bank account where I had made the purchase and I emailed it to customer support explaining my issue and my interest in exchanging what I had for something else. To my surprise they said, «sure».
Even when I was sending the product back I was sure they were going to call explaining that I could only exchange for a different size, not a different product. That call never came. Instead, they sent exactly what I asked for, they threw in a koozie because I had a little extra money after the «return» and they never charged me for return shipping.
Without a doubt this was one of the best customer support experiences I have ever had. They helped add to what was an incredible Boston experience. Thanks again!

The staff was friendly while I searched for a specific hat. I didn’t expect that out of a hat store in Boston. That actually carry a lot of other gear too but I was just looking for a hat. I’d highly recommend this one.

Best destination for Red Sox gear !! I always go here in the off season. Usually able to street park (Sat & Sun) in front of store. Unlike other souvenir stores at other ball parks, staff is helpful and serves with a smile. (Always spend more than I plan with all of the great selection)

I love the Red Sox Team Store and pretty much hit it up each time they’re in season. They have the largest selection of Red Sox attire, as well as some good Bruins & Celtics gear. Pretty expensive however, and the employees sometimes suck. They have all the lids you could want, as well as player tees and jerseys. The women’s section has all those little blingy shirts and things, if you’re into that. The baby section is adorable… too bad those little rug rats only fit into the stuff once in their life though.

If your a true Red Sox fan than you’ve got to visit this store. The place is huge and has everything and anything you could possibly want or need as a Sox fan. Prices are what you would expect to see at any ballpark setting. Best part is if your a AAA member than you get a 10% discount.

I bought two sweatshirts here. I thought they were quite nice. After wearing for a couple months, one of them had a small defect which caused a small tear. I emailed them on a Monday night (not in season), and the next day they sent me a replacement, and a return label for the other one.
Couldn’t ask for better customer service.
We like everything we got here. Easy in and out from the park as well. We were in our seats behind home plate, with beers and weiners, within 5 minutes of checking out of the store.

***This is a very big team store and is located just outside of the stadium on Yawkey Way; because of the store’s size, you can both find many different things here as well as shop comfortably***
Boston is very congested and parking around Fenway is very expensive – even more so than most MLB stadiums.

I’m an Angels fan from California and I was blown away with how much Red Sox gear was in one single place. I imagine that if I was a fan it would be hard not to walk out with something each time I visited.
The staff was cool and the store was very well organized for the amount of inventory it had. Sadly I think the Angels team store could learn a lesson or two from the Boston team store. Especially with all the game used items the store had, which I personally am a big fan of.

The widest variety of Red Sox merchandise in one location anywhere on earth, bar none. However the prices are about 30% higher for the identical gear you’d find shopping off Yawkey. Plus it’s crazy overcrowded and seemingly understaffed. So other than the convenience factor of finding anything Red Sox under one roof coupled with the location, I’d recommend hitting up a spot far from Fenway.

As other reviews have mentioned, this shop is big alright!
They carry just about everything Red Sox related. Too bad prices were way too expensive. If I was a diehard Red Sox fan, I would have purchased something though.
I did enjoy browsing around while waiting for our Fenway Park Tour to begin.

Do not shop at their online store, everything is at least $ 10 over priced. $ 50 for a $ 40 new era hat, $ 40 for a $ 27 tshirt… it’s a joke and they should be ashamed for over charging like that. I will say if you go there you can sometimes grab a good deal with something that’s on sale. Other than that do your shopping off the mlb shop or go to the mall. This place is priced above retail.

This store is huge. Cavernous. A must stop for all true Red Sox Nation and New England fans.
The great thing about shopping for Red Sox stuff while you are up here in Massachusetts, is there is no sales tax on personal clothing items under $ 175! Very nice!
I came here around ten in the morning and had the run of the place to myself. I also hoped to take the tour next door of Fenway, but Sir Paul had a concert that evening and they were setting up, too bad. But, I felt like a kid in a candy shop coming here. And, like a kid in a candy shop, you never have enough money in your pocket! LOL
Over the years I’ve been to a few of these team stores in different cities where we lived. By far this is the largest, with the most variety of sizes and merchandise.
They also have an almost equal amount of B’s, C’s and Pats stuff too. If you are looking for signed memorabilia, they have a nice selection on the left as you come in. Like I said, it cavernous.

Super large and has everything, lots of shirts, hats, and random stuff. Friendly and helpful staff. Some sales. So glad we stopped by.

The obligatory stop for Red Sox gear on any special trip to Fenway.
I was impressed by the range of apparel for men, women, children, and pets, particularly once I found the yellow shirt with the classic Red Sox lettering on it (I don’t wear red, so I was hoping for navy or green until I found the yellow). There’s a whole side of the store with just memorabilia, where I found golf balls for my toddler. You can’t have unpaid merchandise in that side of the store, so either start there or have your friends hold the t-​shirts and hats that you picked out on the other side.
Prices are what I’d expect from any official merchandise store. The cashiers were helpful and efficient.
If you’re there early enough, you’ll be asked to leave promptly so that they can clear out Yawkey Way to make it only available for ticket holders, when they then reopen it.

This place is huge! Prices are absurd but it’s what I expected. The thing that disappointed me about the pro shop is that the selection does not offer a huge variety. Sure, there are a million types of shirts, jerseys, and hats but not a lot of other type items. There were either none or only one option of the kind of thing I was looking for — blankets, towels, stickers, postcards, magnets, keychains, pens, etc. Kind of a bummer.

Despite the fact that the Red Sox sucked giant meatballs this year, I have been, and will always be, a fan of this store as my go-​to place for Red Sox gear. I never leave empty handed, whether it be a Youk (sad face) sweatband or a sign for Red Sox parking only.
My only beef– the prices are pretty steep when you’re on a budget, although sale racks do lurk (not that I want a Carl Crawford shirt).
Also– this is where the Fenway Park tours meet– so you can get a chance to hear one of the guides tell neat stories.

This is the store for all your needs in the Fenway area.

I am not a Red Sox fan, but this was one super awesome amazing store. They literally have EVERYTHING and anything you could ever want as the #1 Red Sox fan. I mean everything. This store spans an entire city block and has everything from t-​shirts to hats to cookie jars to bobble heads to magnets to Wally dolls — you name it, it’s in here and it has the Red Sox logo on it.
I really wish there were more baseball stores like this. Grandstand here in Chicago is great but it could be twice as big — then it would be amazingly awesome. I found the prices in the Red Sox Team Store to be quite reasonable — in fact, there seemed to be different sections with different prices. There was a section of tshirts, hats, etc. made by one specific brand that was cheaper than the rest and had a sale the night we were there. Of course, there was Official MLB as well as other brands, but there seemed to be something for every fan looking to show their Red Sox pride.

A huge souvenir store located «only 67 feet «from Fenway. At least that’s what the sign says. Mainly Red Sox stuff but also lots of Pats, Bruins and Celtics clothing and memorabilia too. There must be literally thousands of different hats on the wall, with every possible variety of Red Sox logo and style in existence and not one single shitty Yankee hat to be found.
They also have toys, flags and clothing of every description. You can find a shirt for every single Red Sox player on the team and shirts for many of the Boston heroes of the past.
The store is basically divided into two sections. The first is where anyone can just walk in. It’s where the usual t-​shirts and the zillion of hats are. The prices are mostly reasonable. The back of the store has the section where you have to walk thorough the detectors. They should have a sign here warning people with weak hearts. The prices of some of this stuff will make you gasp. Possibly die on the spot if you do have a weak heart.
If you want something, absolutely anything, that has to do with the Red Sox, you will find it here. Conveniently located only 67 feet from Fenway.
