Sue knows how to cut women’s hair incredibly well! My hair is thick and hard to style, but she does it with ease. She has also shared great tips with me on how to easily style my hair at home. It’s great to have her business in the neighborhood. Her prices are very reasonable and she takes her time with each customer, making sure you are happy with your haircut!

This is hands-​down the BEST haircut I have ever had. I moved from Boston, but I still get my hair cut at Sue’s when I’m back in town. I’ve had Sue cut my hair and the man that works there. Both were meticulous with their work, and truly skilled. I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend them. They are both very nice and do a wonderful job.

I’ll get my hair cut here for as long as I’m in Boston even if I move out from the neighborhood. After my first visit, Sue remembered who I am and what style I like. She’s quick and efficient, but always happy to make adjustments, unlike other salons who just want a quick turnover. My girlfriend has also had a great experience at Sue’s, so I highly recommend her for both men’s and women’s cuts.

Very courteous, professional, and talented. I’m quite satisfied with the quality of my haircut and I highly recommend this place. As a tourist in dire need of a trim, I took a chance and ducked into this salon. As luck would have it, there was room available in the schedule for me and I was in and out in a respectable time frame. Most excellent! :)

Awesome men’s cut! And just $ 20 in Beacon Hill. I setup the appt by phone (took next available opening). Had to wait ten minutes — and so hope in future she gives better estimate on timing, but no worries really. Very happy.

Ever gotten a free cut from a relative/​friend with adroit hands? You know, the one who can cut better than an average person, but one who’s not quite a pro? You know, one who, though without proper training, can emulate a trained pro given twice or thrice the time to cut the hair?
Well the haircut I received here was exactly like that.
Or perhaps the lady who cut my hair was Sue’s trainee. If so, I would lower my rating of this venue given that a trainee practices on a customer, and even nicks the customer’s neck while using a clipper.
I don’t know, maybe two star rating is too generous.

Sue’s is where I will no go for all of my hair cuts. I’ve been living in the area for about a year and a half, bouncing around from place to place getting mediocre haircuts. I was walking by Sue’s one day and randomly decided to stop in for a hair cut.
She took me without an appointment and as another review said, I felt instantly welcome. She is a friendly and very sweet lady and felt very comfortable in her hands. She charges $ 20 for a men’s haircut, which is a great price considering how much time and attention she pays to you during the cut.
I went for a second visit (no appointment) recently and my initial impression was confirmed. I’ll definitely be back again in the future.

Sue knows exactly how to blow out my hair. The wash is amazing and the blowdry last several days. Great price as well.

Sue took me in off the street today with no appointment and made me feel instantly welcome. She gave me a great cut and advice on growing my hair out, and had me in and out in 40 minutes. less than $ 50 for a wash, cut, dry from a really nice person running her own business was great. Thanks Sue!

Being from out of town, I was overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of everything. By using Unilocal,I found this salon. It is in a lovely area which I wouldnt have seen had I not go. First off, my hair cut was great! Well priced and resonable. No appointment was nexessary. Sue made me feel so welcome and we laughed a lot, and by the end I didn’t even realize how beautifully sure cut and styled it. It would be great place for men women or children cuts. Very clean and she obviously loves and takes care in her profession.
