5 stars for the bar tender Gio. Came in tonight craving dessert, ordered the fried Mexican ice cream and it was amazing. He immediately took care of me and always checked on me even though I only ordered one thing. I legitimately drink like a fish and I really respect that he kept my water cup constantly full even though water isn’t something bartenders or restaurants make money off. It’s a really nice change to have a bar tender that actually cares about making you enjoy your meal and time and not just pushing menu and bar items on you. He never made me feel pressured to order anything more than dessert and because of that I’ll be back. I live in Seaport and I’m happy I’ve found a spot that isn’t all about pushing an expensive meal on the residents here. Great experience, great service, and awesome food

Stopped by after work and got a tradicional margarita. asked for it with salt and wasn’t given any. tasted like drinking straight, cheap, sickly-sweet, sour mix. Took a few sips and left it on the bar. ugh… why is this a FOURTEEN dollar margarita?

Good place to go for drinks! The strawberry margarita is delicious! The atmosphere is very nice but the coolest thing is the patio! You are so close to the water you just want to drink and enjoy the view !

Went to Temezcal last night for dinner, and was extremely impressed with the service. We were immediately greeted by our waiter after being sat, and he brought us waters and chips&salsa right away. Another server brought us a 2nd round of chips & salsa by accident, and the manager came over to apologize about it which was definitely not necessary. Truly attentive service all around. Food — ordered the seared tuna tacos which were perfectly cooked. And they did not skimp on the amount of tuna in there. Couldn’t finish them. The house margarita was pretty strong, so I really had nothing to complain about. Not the cheapest spot for tacos, but you know that going in.

Walking into this space, I wanted to like it so much. The dining room is beautiful-huge windows overlooking the harbor with views of fishing boats going by, gorgeous modern décor with a grand entrance. All of this combined with the HUGE tequila list lead me to believe this was a place I could LOVE. Everything food and drink wise was otherwise just meh. If you can serve your tacos on a fancy and unnecessary taco serving. device?.. but can’t make good tacos, then there is clearly a problem. The fish tacos just straight up sucked. I mean I don’t know if it was the fact that it was batter fried cod, which is just a recipe for disaster as far as flavor goes in my opinion, or just a lack of flavor and creativity all together. I am not sure, but it didn’t work. I enjoyed the chips with the(one!) vegetarian salsa they offered. I am not opposed to meat eaters having their thing but salsa isn’t even traditionally a meat dish and two of the three salsas were meat based. What? Overall, I am assuming due to the location being in the convention center area they can focus more on their décor than food and people will come, and spend way too much on not that great food. Maybe I should have just stuck to the tequila.

Great bar scene, such delicious make-you-drool fresh food and tons of drink options. Fun place! Great for dates. Highly recommend the guacamole and short rib tacos. And love the on-the-water view. It was such a perfect setting.

GREATSERVICE! Attentive. Food was gourmet. The setting romantic with the harbor lit in lights. We ordered Ahi Tscos, scallops and Corn Crusted Calamari as appetizer and two margaritas. Everything was top notch. Very pleased. So only thing is if you don’t like messy they stay clear of the Ahi Tacos made with lettuce taco shells(hey Chefs all over the world This Never Works as taco shells).

I was attending a company sponsored party here so I cannot attest to the prices or the menu as a whole but I can tell you the service was friendly and attentive, the food and drinks tasty and imaginative, and the location along the water, perfect! I was pleasantly surprised that their margaritas tasted quite good and they didn’t appear to use sour mix… or at least I couldn’t taste it and I didn’t end up with crippling heartburn the next day, the signature side affects of sour mix. The appetizers they brought around were quite good and they brought them around frequently throughout the night. This is a nice venue and I am recommending another group look at scheduling their event here.

Dope view of the harbor that can’t be beat. Nice looking, and tasting, food to boot. This was an enjoyable experience, but did have some drawbacks. Anywhere on the water will be busy and expensive, and this was no exception. It felt like it took a long time for us to receive anything that we ordered. It was a Friday night, but it took us a large amount of time to get food on our table. The food was typical Mexican. It had decent portions and was pleasant tasting. Nothing special that would make me come back, but I’m not disappointed. The price was expensive and does not make me want to come back. You pay for the view, most definitely. It’s not my thing, but for some people that makes it all worth it. There is better Mexican. There are better Margaritas. There may not be a better view, but I’ll trade one for two.

Nothing special about this place besides it’s a great location. Located with a nice view of Boston Harbor and planes landing at Logan. We arrived early for dinner(5pm) with our eight month son. Place was pretty slow. I asked for a table in the corner so we could have room for our stroller. The host put us there but wasn’t very personable. Neither was the waitress or runners bringing our meals. The food was OK. We each had the fajitas. Wasn’t bad but really wasn’t that great either. We just felt like we weren’t wanted. I made eye contact with the same host when we left to smile and say thank you and he wouldn’t even look at me. With a million restaurants on the seaport you would think the one you pick would actually appreciate your business.

Located on the water downtown Boston, a great spot for the American version of Mexican food. It is a «high end» Mexican restaurant. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We requested to be seated outside near the water. There are 2 rows of seating outside. We were seated at a table for 2 further away from the water while there was a table available closer to the water. The open table was for four but everyone sitting closer to the water were only parties of 2. We were dressed casually while others were in their office attire. Maybe they were profiling us but it would make more sense that Boston visitors would spend more money since we can drink alcohol during the day and others have to return to work. Restaurants should not judge by appearances. It is hard to tell who has more disposable income. There is a reason some people dine more leisurely than others, because they can. We ordered the fresh guacamole. It also comes with tomatillo salsa, traditional salsa, and black refried beans with a sprinkle of Cotija cheese. The chips were nothing special, shiny from grease and lightly salted. For the entrée we ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Fajitas. Food came out quickly. The pan was did not sizzle when it arrived at the table but the meats were plenty hot. The shrimp were jumbo sized and delicious and chicken wad juicy strips on a bed of flavorful green pepper and white onions. It didn’t have much protein but the pieces were big and can feed two. It came with a trio made up of cabbage, rice, and more refried beans. Our server was accommodating. Although our water was not refilled. He was willing to bring me another wine. A nice place for lunch on the water. The deck is beautiful, modern and clean, shaded.

The setting is a beautiful waterfront location, with the whole restaurant open to the ocean on a nice August afternoon. The proximity to Logan airport does have the annoying drawback of repeated loud interruptions from aircraft taking off making it hard to have a conversation, but I digress. The red and green salsas, bacon refried beans and tortilla chips brought to the table were tasty. I ordered the Acapulco tuna salad which looked and tasted amazing — perfect sear on the tuna. A little pricey perhaps, but definitely enjoyable and I would return.

This place keeps getting worse and worse. Came here with 8 co workers to open up a tab. Tried to get the high top tables behind the bar(better for 8 people to gather). We intended on ordering apps and drinks. Hostess said we must order a full entrée to sit there. So we have to go and rush the bar. Pretty lame if you ask me. Not only is the bar less ideal for a group but we also now have to pass apps all the way down instead of huddling around the table. Now we’re here inconvenienced probably gonna spend a couple hundred bucks staring at 5 empty tables. Thx.

Came here with a friend to grab a bite to eat on the way to the airport. We were a bit late to our reservation due to traffic but we ended up being seated right away. First off, upon being seated I was completely stunned by the view. Because it was a nice day out, they had the whole restaurant open to the water which made every seat an ocean view. To start, we went with an order of guacamole to complement the trio of salsas/beans they bring out. The guacamole wasn’t the most amazing I’ve ever had(I’m a snobby Californian after all), but it was decent enough. For my meal, I decided to go with the chicken mole. This dish was a lot better than I was expecting and actually had a great combination of flavors with the chicken, mole, and sweet potato purée. To finish the meal, we went with an order of the fried ice cream, which was pretty basic but a nice sweet ending to the meal. I also had a drink that was supposed to be a mix of a piña colada and a margarita, but it was way too heavy on the coconut rum for me. Overall, the food here was tasty and the service was speedy – which our waiter made happen because of my flight. He was a bit awkward at times, but did a good job.

Yum. Another great meal here. Super nice bartenders and servers. Reasonable food prices. Fish tacos were a little heavily fried for my liking but good! Fajitas were good. Both chicken and steak. Street corn was not what we expected it was more of a succotash than street. Plantains were heavenly in some kind of syrup. Churro also a must try!

Only reviewing the bar/drink experience. Friend and I came in Friday night for some after dinner drinks and this place fit the bill due to the tequila offerings. We ended up getting 4 different margaritas between us and they were all interesting and good in their own way. Bar service was friendly and prompt and we felt fortunate to have been able to grab a couple seats as the place was slammed. Be warned, quite the«fancy» joint on a Friday night as I was by far the most undressed in jeans, tshirt, sneakers and a hat. Seems to be quite the hip and happening place for the younger crowd, and the food that came out to the tables behind us smelled quite wonderful. Think it was awesome they had outdoor seating and I’m sure for a few months out of the year they’ll be great options for the NE crowd: P

I came here with a friend around 9pm on a Saturday and was told the wait would be 45 minutes. No big deal since it’s a Saturday night and we didn’t have a reservation. We ordered the Tradicional and Besos margaritas and the Avocados Dorados appetizer. Pros: Water view Atmosphere Strong margaritas Free chips and salsa Cons: Overpriced Pushy service Average tasting food Overall, I had a good time and enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was a little too sweet but the drinks were strong and tasty. The service was mediocre and a tad pushy.

With a sudden urge for a spicy margarita, we dropped by the good old Temazcal. Loved the freshly muddled cocktails our bartender whipped up and we shared a bunch of laughs with him as well. Now for the tacos… mmm both were delish and the portions were huge. If you’re counting your calories, opt for their lettuce ahi tuna tacos. If not, go for the fried variety. Heck if you’re not counting calories, go for both. Truly enjoyed our experience. Hopefully next time I’m back and it’s nicer out, it won’t be crowded like a sardine can :)

Great service at the bar by ‘Geo’, great suggestions, drinks and good moods. They have a grandddd selection of tequila and the bar tenders are very familiar with all of them which is incredibly impressive. Their purees in their cocktails are on point. The ambiance makes you feel comfortable with lights dimmed with a classy/clean look. Our group had complementary nacho chips with 3 dips which had us comfortable in consuming more drinks, as well as had us falling for a food trap. We had fajitas and something else recommended to us which complemented our drinks. Variety filled seating from booths, tables, private room, high tops and plenty of bar seating. Highly recommended for a date night or if you wanna get to know some splendid tequilas.

This is my favorite place of all time for Mexican food. I always get their salmon dish. However, I’m now a little disappointed about the way the new chef serves the salmon dish. The salmon now tastes even better, but they switched out the old stuffing that the salmon used to lay on top :(I forgot the name of it even though it’s been repeated to me endless times… I love the chips and dips they give us at the start of our orders! The dips are amazing so try all you can. Waiters and waitresses here are always friendly and do their best to serve me well(pretty sure it’s because I’m a fantastic customer ;) One attraction(other than the beautiful view) that kept me coming back was the unique experience of the use of iPads for their menus. I am a huge Apple fan and I thought the iPads were a brilliant idea… However, they recently switched to an all-on-one-page menu because apparently people kept complaining about the«difficult» use of the iPads… The theme of this place is pretty fancy in my opinion. It gets crowded on the weekends but dead quiet on weekdays and afternoons. This is a great place for a romantic date or to take a friend out whose visiting from another state/foreign country(which I’ve done multiple times) and they all seemed to really enjoy this location.

Decidedly pretentious waterfront dining. Whose idea was it to add crème fresh to EVERYTHING? blech. ¿por eso estoy usando un ipad para almuerzo de orden?
