I’ve been trying to get here for a while to try one of their bowls, hoping it would come close to bowls I get in California(the probable capital of great bowls!). I tried one of the pitaya bowls and, although it tasted OK, I was disappointed in a few things. First, they use peanut butter that has sugar added rather than an all natural PB or, even better, PB2 powder which has far less fat and no added sugar. Second, when the clerk put the fresh fruit on top, not only did he take the unwashed fruit directly from the grocery store container but he did so with the same bare hands that he took my money with, ugh! So… Sadly I can’t recommend The Juice Bar, but I’ll keep looking!!!

My favorite thing about juice box is that in addition to having the usual suspects(juices, smoothies, wheatgrass and ginger shots) on their menu, they have tons of creative combinations and offer unique ingredients that is common in the bigger cities like NYC but still pretty new in the boston health scene They have 3 acai bowls and 3 pitaya(dragonfruit) ones here. I think that’s a record for boston! I really wanna come back for the Namaste(sweet potato, apple, orange, carrot, lemon and cinnamon). It Reminded me of the sweet potato juice from cocobeet in Faneuil hall which was unsuspectingly delicious!!! Also can’t wait to try their Thai ice coffee with cardamom and almond milk They also offer two different types of juice cleanses which are both priced at $ 44, $ 132, and $ 220 for 1, 3, and 5 days respectively. The Revive and Live Green both come with 6 bottles of 16oz juices. That’s probably one of the cheapest cleanses you’ll find in boston!!! They’re also serving a bunch of fall specials right now: cran-bloody Orange(cranberries, dates, OJ, cinnamons, almond butter and milk), carrot cake(carrot, banana, dates, Camilla, cinnamon, almond milk), pumpkin pie(w/actual pumpkin purée!, almond milk, vanilla, cinnamon, honey) and autumn punch(pumpkin, dates, cayenne pepper, goji and almond milk)

Just picked up 4 smoothies: cran bloody orange, carrot cake, replenish mint and pumpkin pie — SO delicious. Please consider making the seasonal smoothies full time ;). I called in my order and they were ready quickly with perfect taste and consistency! Great service. THANKYOU for a great experience

The cute façade pulled me in while walking down Broadway yesterday. The inside is nicely decorated and has a comfortable, cute feel. They have a nut station where you can fill up a bag with a variety of nuts. Didn’t notice how much it cost, but it’s a cool concept. I got the Nutty Professor smoothie. It was tasty and I drank the entire thing. This would be a convenient place to do a work because they have smoothies, coffee, and healthy snacks. I asked the person making my smoothie if they had wifi and he said«yes but I don’t know the password.» I think advertising free wifi would be great to get customers in the door — I know that I would probably continue to buy snacks and coffee if I was in there working. Just a thought!

I keep finding myself going back here! My go-to is the green glow smoothie. It’s light and refreshing but packed with nutrition. The staff is always happy and welcoming. The price may be a little steep but you can’t beat the convenience and fresh ingredients.

Tried this place twice. Each time the service was very slow and there was only one person in front of me. The smoothie was icy with not much flavor. The acai bowl was tiny for the price and did not have the right color or taste. Plus the granola was stale. Will not go back.

I’ve tasted much better than what I had here. When you’ve had a really good smoothie elsewhere it’s almost impossible to walk into a place without holding that same sense of comparison over the quality of the ingredients that are in your smoothie. I had the PB and J and it was just okay. It’s filled with all sorts of things including raspberries, peanut butter, and hemp seeds. And it was all okay. Not overly impressed. I think the fault of the smoothie was that I couldn’t really taste any one ingredient. I expected it to be thickened by the peanut butter with a distinct peanut buttery taste. Instead, I just tasted the coldness of ice and hemp seeds. Not one particular ingredient stood out for me, and that was disappointing. My original intention walking in was to get a coffee, but decided to go with a juice because that’s the name of the game. I wish I would have stuck with the coffee. I was swaying between two and three stars but ended up going with three because the staff was pretty friendly and this place is so adorable looking. Wall writing with loopy cursive. It gets me :) Overall, pretty average but I would come back to try the coffee if I were ever in the area again.

I was delighted to see this opening in South Boston and I decided to check it out on Saturday. I was not impressed. I was the only person in the place and the staff were not very informative about their products(in fact one guy who was obviously new had not a clue) the other girl who was serving looked asleep, her pants hanging way below her waistline and showed her underwear which had a big hole in the back. I got my smoothie and they forgot some of the ingredients and the corrected this. It did taste nice. Think I will wait until they get over their teething problems before I go back.

i have allergies so I was very careful with choosing my order. I happened to be watching the person making my juice and: 1) the same pitcher from the order before was being used for my order without being rinsed 2) ingredients not listed on the menu were being poured into my drink(ingredients that I informed the staff that I was allergic to) I ended up not having a juice. This is serious if I hadn’t been paying attention. I know that I need to inform people in the food and beverage industry of my allergy but they also need to be upfront with what ingredients are actually in their products.

This place is amazing! Exactly what this neighborhood needed! The staff is super cool and knowledgeable and really take care in Healthy living! Andrew was my juiceologist, he was super friendly and on point with portion control! I’ll be back for sure!

The acai bowl i tried was delicious and I will definitely be back for the product, however the service was far from great. The man working the counter was super un-friendly and generally seemed like he was flat out miserable being there. I get it — work is work and it’s not always super glamorous, but when you’re job is to interact with people you should try your best to actually make customers feel like they are welcomed in your establishment. Looking forward to giving it another chance as the juices and smoothies seem amazing.

The juices are pretty tasty, but there’s an older man that works in the morning that can be really nasty. The nutty professor is great and they have great local products, but I definitely go there for the drinks, not the management. Hopefully they can hire nicer staff soon!(Cleanliness leaves a bit to be desired too)

Very excited to have a new juice bar in the neighborhood! I went this morning and was very pleased. The interior is super cute — great décor. I ordered a banana, peanut butter, almond butter, cinnamon, agave and almond milk smoothie. It was delicious! Definitely will be going back!
