I enjoyed the crowd, especially the abundance of mice crawling around the floor. We didn’t stay here long. Ew.

This place is definitely a college/sports/dive bar atmosphere. We went on a Friday night and they had 2 $ bud light beer specials. We ordered nachos and they were what you would expect from a bud– definitely not like nachos from a Mexican place but good enough for when you’re drinking. Service was good even after the place started filling up but we split our checks and the server mixed the orders up. The bathroom was clean. Overall, it wouldn’t be my go to place for when I come back to Boston but a good backup spot to hangout and watch the game.

Went on a Tuesday night. There was a sign in sheet for karaōke, me and my friend requested«happy birthday» and the Dj claimed he didn’t know if he had it and we would have to check the 7 books they had. Happy birthday is a pretty common song so this is surprising to me that he wouldn’t know if they had this song. He was extremely rude about it and said he has a lot going on and just didn’t know and enforced that we had to check in the books. It was very annoying.

When I first walked in, smelled a bit of cleaning /bleach agents. Place looks kinda dicey around the evening hours, but otherwise the food was actually a lot more decent that what I would have expected(buffalo chicken wrap). Bit too much buffalo chicken sauce made for a much too sour taste, but otherwise it was nice that it tasted fresh off the grill, and the fresh tomatoes made for a nice touch. Menu prices on the outside might not be updated to reflect actual menu prices.(Unconfirmed…) Worth a try! Also, yes, others have mentioned the large TVs area. Seems like an afterhours sports pub kind of place.

Pretty packed on a Thursday night, so they must be doing something right. Great draft and bottle selection(you have to search for the menus on the wall because it seems like they ran out of room because there are so many!).

Oh, T’s. That is all. Cheap food and beer before a BU game. Good fun crowd. Service pretty terrible but I don’t think that is their priority. Always liked the food for what I get — just typical bad for your heart stuff.

Terrible! Service was terrible. My boyfriend and I came here on a Saturday around. The waitress took our order(without asking what size burger we would like-he wanted double) and then forgot about us even though we were 1 of 3 tables. The food was awful! Burger was not seasoned and bland, sauce was in dead center of bun, bun was soggy, and some fries were cold! DONOTCOMEHERE

We had an awful experience! The service was very slow even though the restaurant is mostly empty. Our waitress lost our drink orders. The kitchen messed up our orders and burned our food. We have been here for more than two hours and still waiting on the check to arrive so that we can pay.

This is an average bar, with average food, average drinks and slightly below average service. It is a decent place to hang out if you don’t have other options or your mobility is limited. The trivia and karaōke nights don’t fully make up for the lack of luster at this place. But all and all, not a terrible place to get a pint.

TERRRIBLE! On a family night out to see a show at the BU. We decided to get a bite to eat. Walking in we sat down, and sadly that was the smoothest part of the whole experience. It was not busy and we sat right away. We placed our order and got our drinks, patiently waiting. A family next to us came and left and another family ordered after Us And got their food almost immediately. It took close to an hour to get our food. It took an hour to get two salads, a BLT, and a hotdog. The food was half assed, poorly presented and potion size was unbelievable how small the salads were. They were the size of a side salad you would get at say Olive Garden. And not to mention they were ten bucks each. We are a working class family that never complain and takes what we are givin, but this was total unnecessary. We did not receive silverware, napkins, and our food was thrown at us like we had done something wrong. ABSOLUTELYNEVEREATHERE… Sad but true. God bless.

Used to work next door at the Paradise in the early 80’s, and had dinner ar T’s several times a week. The food was average then, and it hasn’t changed at all in 30 years. Only noticeable difference is that the TV’s are bigger. Stillvery popular with the BU students. Shout out to Steve… he’s an institution…

You know when you give a 2 star review and you wonder if you are being a bit dramatic and then you tell yourself, «no they deserve one star and I’m being generous», well that’s now. First of all, what is the role of the dudes at the front door? I watched customers walk in while they where huddled down looking at their phones. They lazily checked IDs and resumed their post of looking lazy and bored. We took a few seats at the second bar area. The couple next to us was talking to a server so we assumed that she would come to us next and take a drink order/bring us some menus/welcome us to the establishment. Nope, never happened. Despite my attempts to gain her attention(and we did make eye contact several times) after about 7 minutes, we went to the bar to order beers. There my husband was ignored by the bartender as he was telling a story and could not be bothered. He saw my husband, he looked at him several times and kept talking(place was not busy.) Finally he took his order and he returned with 2 beers(one star for having some«craft» beer selections in bottles as the draft lines/options leave much to be desired(I remember that from my younger days coming here after attending a show next door.) Thinking we still might have a server for our food we hung out then finally my husband went up and ordered our food at the bar. After what seemed like too long for burgers and fries, I noticed what appeared to be our order just sitting on the ledge in front of the open kitchen. I watched the server go over, look at it and ignore it. I assume her thought was«it’s not mine». She proceeded to stand around and chat with other employees also bored looking. Finally my husband went up to the bartender and asked if by any chance that was our food. She ran over and grabbed it and put it on our table. So basically, had he not asked, we would never have gotten our food because she had completely forgotten/didn’t communicate with anyone on the floor about it. Bar is still empty at this point. The burgers were decent and the spicy fries gained them another star. Will never, ever be back.

They make really good Hawaiian Pizza! Just delicious! But if you could keep the heat turned on during the winter season you were the best of the best guys!

I came here for New Year’s Eve looking to have a great time and for the most part T’s did not disappoint. However the one star comes from the experience I had with the employees, a bar back. He was walking by my friend and knocked over his drink and instead of apologizing said«don’t get in my way bro» This event was an open bar so it would have been easy just to say sorry and my friend could have just gotten a new drink no problem. When my friend tried to stick up for himself and have a conversation, the bar back then got pretty aggressive and yelled about not making enough money to deal with«this shit». Pretty awkward and uncomfortable

I still enjoy coming to T’s for the socializing, the beverages, and especially the trivia… not so much the food any more. They revised — essentially downsized — their menu a while ago, making it more of a traditional pub-style. Gone are things like salads, and now it’s mostly burgers, a few sandwiches, and appetizers. The amount of meat in the burgers is noticeably reduced as well. It’s almost like those old commercials where Clara Peller lifts up the bun and yells, «Where’s the beef!!!» Fries no longer come with your burgers or sandwiches, they’re extra. You do get a lot when you order them, but starch is cheaper anyway. Their mozzarella sticks continue to be my favorites anywhere though. But quite frankly, instead of coming to T’s for dinner then drinks and/or trivia, I’m now more likely to get dinner at someplace nearby for what feels like a better deal. The service has also slipped a notch, though it is still decent. We got our drinks, and then the waitress disappeared for a while without asking if we wanted food, even though someone had asked for menus. I think you actually get better service when it’s busy, because the waitress(es) don’t have the time to stand around in the back. I hope the downward trend stops soon.

Absolutely terrible customer service. At first I was confused on if I should just sit down somewhere or not. There was someone checking IDs at the door however it was very inconsistent when he was checking and when he was not. I observed him walking around the bar as people just walked in. What really upset me was the fact that someone who sat down after me GOTSERVICEBEFOREME!!! The waitress then was very rude when she finally approached me. I wasn’t quite ready to order then and she never checked in with me the next 45 minutes I was there until I finally walked out. NEVERAGAIN!!! I agree with the earlier reviews to walk the mile to Sunset instead.

How do you fail at nachos? It was a last resort to go here in the first place before a show next door. It was also before a BU hockey game, I’ll give them that. There were two waitresses doing there best but we had to flag them down for everything, including getting menus and basically saying«hey can you be our waitress». The seating isn’t really great either. These are all things I can get over if they have some greasy decent tasting food that I can devour pre concert. We got the nachos and they were really bad. Can’t say I’ve ever really had bad nachos but these had melted(served cold) cheddar cheese AND cheese sauce, there was a GIANT slop of sour cream on top and a few diced tomatoes. Not good at all. The bar pizza is okay but way over priced. It’s too bad because there aren’t many places to go pre paradise shows. No matter how desperate you are, avoid this place.

Like BU students? Who doesn’t. Like them packed to the rafters on a cold night drinking and partying all night? yeah, me too. You don’t come for the service or the food(trust me). but for happy hour onwards, just what you need. Every sport on every TV, cheap beers, great music, people having fun.

Despite working right down the street from here(and 973 Commonwealth as it used to be called) for 3 years, today was my first time in. The place was empty for lunch and I was alone so I sat at the bar. The bartender came over quickly and got me a water. She suggested the buffalo chicken wrap — sounded good to me. It came out in about 10 minutes. The wrap was very good. You have your choice of grilled or fried chicken — I went with fried. It also had nice romaine lettuce, tomato, and blue cheese dressing. I thought it was pretty mild buffalo, but it was good. The fries were very good too, although I prefer mine a little crispier. Where sandwiches can easily set you back $ 7 – 8 at a fast food/takeout place, I thought my wrap with fries for $ 9.50(before tip) was a pretty good deal. Service was good and the place seemed clean. Now that I’ve been in I definitely plan to go back.
