My favorite pizza place in Boston. Under new management for a few years, but the quality is the same. Mention you have an MBTA card and you’ll get 10% off. They have a daily and monthly special, as well as cheese and pepperoni. I always get a special. The Greek salad is awesome too.

I do not like to give bad reviews but sadly they earned this one. So UpperCrust has been under new ownership for sometime now. I have not ordered from them in sometime now. I decided to give them another try. I walked in and ordered a small Roni and mushroom. I was taken back when was told it would be 17 dollars and change. This place was never cheap but for a 2 topping small pie this is expensive. The cost aside the real problem was when they called my name. He had made a Sausage and Mushroom pizza instead of Pepperoni and Mushroom. I like Sausage so told them not to worry about it. The manager did throw in a slide of Pepperoni which was nice. The biggest problem though was the quality of the pizza. It www just not good. The Pepperoni slice tasted like it had been sitting around for a week. The Sausage and mushroom was not much better. I never throw left over pizza out but in this case I did. I am not a huge fan of Emilio’s pizza but it’s much better than this place and priced appropriate for when your really hungry and its last minute. For prices this high the pizza has to be really good for me to put out 18 bucks . For about 20 I could have gotten a really nice pizza from Picco. Next time I will.

The pizza here is awesome and you get a great value for your $$. Try one of the«mini» calzones. It was only $ 5 and there was nothing mini about it. BIG flavor and BIG value for the size. Prompt and friendly service! They even deliver!

My mom and I get the calzones from here and they’re pretty good. We had a bit of a hiccup last night though. We ordered through their new app for our usual calzone which we added 3 additional toppings of basil, garlic, and grilled chicken. It said it would be ready in half an hour and I live across the street. Time came to go pick up and that’s where the hiccup happened. The employee there told me there was an issue with the system and my calzone was made plain without my toppings, but if I could wait 15min for a new one, my actual order. I’m pretty chill about it and sit and wait for it. It’s finally done and the chef who made the order apologized for the wait. I asked if I can have the original calzone despite it being plain and he said I totally can. So it was a win for us as we had extra to share and even the plain calzone was delish.

Not the best pizza. Crust was decent but overall flavor was disappointing. Salad dressing was bitter. We will keep trying. There has to be a decent pizza in this city

I received a very nice follow up on my original Unilocal review from the manager. At the end, I was given a gift card for my 1st order and enough for a second order. They hand delivered the gift card. I decided to give the Upper Crust another try. I really like how you can order ½ of 2 different pies. This time, I decided to get a ½ order of the Charles and ½ buffalo chicken. It took an hour. I tried to tip the delivery guy in cash but he did not have change. The pizza was not super warm. The buffalo chicken was better than the BBQ chicken I ordered last time. It was not super heavy in sauce and had plenty of chicken. The Charles Street ½ sounded way better on paper than it tasted. It lacked flavor or «wow» factor. I really thought I would love it :(It is definitely better than Stevie’s Pizza on Boylston and college Pizza. I will probably use the rest of my gift card but doubt I would order from here again. I do appreciate the effort that the manager did after my first Unilocal review. If only, Picco had more pizza options and Locale in the North End delivered. Thank you Mali for your efforts!

I know it’s a local chain, but I have to admit, the BF and I love their pizza. It’s our go-to take out meal when all we want to do is relax. The delivery is always fast, and their pizza is consistent! Love it!

Spinach pizza with no cheese. Wtf. Pizza tasted like an atrocious and it was overpriced. Definetly would not come here again.

I am currently waiting for my pizza that I ordered for 7:30… It is 8:05. When I arrived at 7:30 I was told 10 minutes. I have ordered from this place only twice, the first time I ordered they delivered the wrong pizza… Don’t order from here ever.

Extremely slow & inattentive. Ignored me for most of the time. Salads were all premade. Upper Crust used to be great and fast, definitely gone downhill here.

Not sure what all the hype is about. Ordered a slice of the«slice of the day» not bad. Then a small buffalo calzone. Chicken was cold they were nice enough to heat it further. When I got it «hot» the dough not fully cooked. Very chewy. I can live without the upper crust. I will have been happy with just A crust

Meh. We got pizza to go on Friday as we continued on our quest for a decent pie. It’s a great pizza to eat if you are on a diet. I had one slice and that was enough. I love pies of all styles; thin, thick, Chicago Style, Greek.(And I do love’m). This one broke my heart. The best comparison I could come with would be chewy dry stale bread with a dusting of toppings. My particular favourite was the dried sausage(or was it jerky?). Never again. Couldn’t/won’t go back even for a free pie. Sticking with left overs instead.

I haven’t ordered from here in awhile so I figured I would today. Sadly I must change my review .I ordered a large extra pepperoni pizza 2 orders of cheesy bread a order of beef lasagna and a large meatball calzone totaling almost 70 $ for my workplace what I got was a burnt pizza with obviously not extra pepperoni cheesy bread that was overcooked lasagna that was dry and looked reheated and a horrible calzone! Really upper crust what happen !!!

I have lived in the South End for 6 years and am embarrassed to say that this is the first review I’ve written for Upper Crust. Working at a nearby hospital we consistently order UC for lunch, meetings, etc. They are consistently good. We ordered in a snow storm a few weeks ago, when people were barely moving in the city, and they delivered fresh, hot pizza! I love the thin crust(because you can eat more, that’s my reasoning…) and my fave is the Harvard! New pizza is month is green and that’s what I“ll be eating on St. Patty’s Day! They also a big supporters of local organizations, etc. Have to applaud Ben and Mali for being super easy to work with when planning events. Just a great team!

FYI: their Margherita version is just cheese pizza. If you want fresh basil and moz, the name of the pizza is called Harvard street. Love the thin crust and delicious toppings. It is more on the expensive side but hey, it is located in the South End so I’m not surprised.

It is so hard to sit here and wait 30+ minutes for a walk in order. The pizza here is pretty good, honestly, but the organization here is just not present. I am hungry and it is close to my house. If it was not for these two factors, I absolutely would not be here. You can get better, and more attentive service elsewhere!

The best pizza in Boston could be found here! have to walk about seven blocks to get this thin crust, flavorful and huge slices that make my day every time I come over for a savory bite. Have to note that since the store management had changed the place has much more friendly employes and with outstanding customer service. When I came over with a group of friends and some of us had food allergies we were so glad to have a nice and patient cashier helping us out. Love the variety of topping you could add to your pizza, plus slices of the day hands up the most unexpected and tasty. The store has a nice decoration and AC which was soo needed all summer. Couple days ago decided to try out their delivery service and was not disappointed either. Keep up with good work guys!
