Woody’s Pizza & Liquors

Well can’t say I’ve had the chance to try their pizza, but as I walked up to the door, instead of acknowledging that they had a customer they flipped the sign to say closer. They were still making pizzas inside… maybe for deliveries… I just wanted a slice. Because of their total lack of customer service I would never consider this place and I urge you to think how you want to be treated before you decide to spend your money at this place.

This place has gone through three owners/​managers in less than two years of operation. Unfortunately, the food has gotten progressively worse each time. The most recent reincarnation (¹⁄₂₀₁₆) is a pizza shop meets taqueria. Interesting idea, but truly awful food and service! While the location is very convenient, there are so many better options available. Tonight was the last straw and I’ll never go back!

We listened to you and gave Woody’s another shot… Total FAIL. Didn’t have several items we wanted, took over an hour, and I found a facial hair in my food! Sorry, we wanted to love you but nothing has changed. Not to mention, we are still waiting for our first order from way back in March!

Ordered pizza and steak n cheese rolls for pickup last night. Didn’t realize I had called the Revere store! Was too late for the steak n cheese rolls but Rhonda the manager insisted on making me a fresh pizza — even gave me a large for the price of the small and threw in fried twinkies and oreos to boot! Excellent customer service and excellent pizza — will definitely be back and will recommend to others! Rhonda is the best!

The place has improved since they have hired new cooks and the pizza has improved due to a better pizza sauce and recommend for people who in the past gave it bad reviews the food is really good Please try it. Rhonda the manager is there all the time and makes you feel at hone

Ordered 2 slices of pepperoni pizza. They were both cold and soggy. Not the first time this has happened.

Ordered a burger and fries from here. I thought it was extremely tasty for $ 8 and the guys working were extremely friendly. Order came out perfect and they even asked if I would like ketchup or anything else since I was taking it to-​go. I will definitely be back. Unfortunately ate my meal before I could get a pic.

The worst place I have ever ordered food from and it’s not even close. I have worked at 2 successful Pizza and Sub shops and have never come across such terrible food and customer service. I ordered a steak bomb with extra cheese. This usually includes steak, cheese, salami, peppers, onions and mushrooms. What I received was more like a steak catastrophe. Cold steak, no cheese, no onions, no mushrooms, and no peppers. I may have been asking for too much with the extra cheese. I would have appreciated some cheese though. Perhaps a normal serving of cheese would have sufficed… To top it off my order took 2 hours and it didn’t include everything I ordered.
I ordered french fries «well done.» Instead, I received french fries that were «not done.» They were cold, soggy, and undercooked. Purely a travesty of a food establishment. When I called to complain, the owner told me he personally watched the cooks put extra cheese on my steak bomb. If that’s the case, he’s an embarrassment of a restaurateur and should be ashamed of himself for allowing food of such terrible quality to leave the kitchen.
Truly disgusted. If this was the last food establishment on Earth, and I had $ 50, I would eat the $ 50 bill. This place is a terrible excuse for a restaurant and should close it’s doors before somebody gets sick.

First off there a lot of mismatched reviews between the Woody’s in East Boston and the one in Revere. The East Boston Woody’s is next to a liquor store with the same name and behind the Orient Heights train station.
They have a large slice of pizza (essentially two slices together) for $ 2.50 for the price the quality is good. For a pizza place next to a liquor store it will meet your expectations.
Bottom line is I’ll go back.

Excellent, excellent Za! They use a high quality mozzarella. Nice crust. The stuffed crust is delicious. The spinach calzone was 5 star for taste but the small was a bit expensive for the size. I get my pizza a little on the well side and I would probably ask them to go light on the sauce. Just our preference. My go to pizza in East Boston. Very nice delivery guys and in shop. I think they might deliver libations from the adjoined liquor store. Haven’t done that yet but what could be better, beer and food delivered to your door. Could come in handy when I’ve had too much green. ;)
