Although I liked the combination of donuts and bahn mi and fresh rolls so close to home, this place has gone out of business! I agree with a previous poster — the gal who ran the register had a very casual attitude and acted like she couldn’t care less if you ordered anything or not, so that could have been cause for their decline. They were in a difficult location, behind a bank building, so I’m sure their lack of visible exposure from the B/E highway was a detriment as well.

I was happy to learn of a banh mi place within lunch hour distance from work. To top it off, they have donuts. Two cravings, one stone. I stopped here and got a banh mi(a nod indicated that it would be pork), fresh rolls, and some donuts. The sandwich was cold, though there was an available oven(convection? toaster? I am not an expert on such things). I did not see the refrigeration situation, but the lady was sitting on a chair making the sandwich behind the donut case. In hindsight, I wish I had paid more attention. The meats were questionable looking, formed, mushy things. Vegetables were minimal. Mayonnaise was disgustingly goopy. I did not finish it. I took two bites of the fresh roll, and the fact that it had been sitting out on the counter combined with the off taste of the shrimp got to me. In the garbage. The donuts were fine, though I’ve had better at Safeway. The selection was quite poor, too. I would rather go to Yeh Yeh’s and get in trouble for being late back to work than come back here again. I hope I don’t get sick.

Mmm, mmm, delicious. 2 of my favorite foods in one spot, donuts and bahn mi. I happend on this spot when I was randomly pasing by and saw the word«donuts». I needed a french cruller fix so I went in to see if they had any. It’s supprising the number of donuts shops that don’t have crullers. Anyway, I was pleasantly supprised to see that they DID have them, joy joy joy. But I was even more supprised that they had bahn mi! Sure they don’t have all of the meats that you can get in the ID, but what they do have(chicken or pork) is pretty dang good. There aren’t many places up north that have bahn mi, so of course its a little more expensive, don’t let that stop you. Just make sure you keep an open mind when you try this place.

I went here before picking up my pizza which is next door. The girl could care less if I was going to buy. I was going to order like 6 donuts. But her attitude and lack of customer service made me just order 2. Then when it was time for the change she didn’t have many dollar bills and she was upset. Lord! I think someone made her work today. That is the impression she gave me. The donuts of Safeway tastes better!

I’ve tried a few donuts from«#1 Donuts & Deli» and they weren’t that great. I’d give them a three if they were from the supermarket, but a donut shop should have higher standards.

I was intrigued about a place that serves Banh Mi and donuts, especially in the Canyon Park area. My friend and I went to try the Banh Mi. So I ordered one chicken and one pork. I also wanted egg rolls or banh xeo but they were out of both. So I had some donuts. That’s a very interesting concept. Vietnamese sandwiches with American donuts. I have to say that it wasn’t as good as Seattle Deli. Less meat, nor the french bread with the rice flour. But it really wasn’t bad. Nice to know that I get banh mi close by if I don’t feel like driving to Seattle. Donuts were good. Didn’t taste like it was from the freezer(like some grocery chain bakeries are doing). The owners used to run Henry’s Donuts in Everett. Try it if you need a Banh Mi fix and you’re in the Canyon Park area. Like all Banh Mi, the price is right!
