4 Seasons Contractor

Complete flake! Makes appointment and won’t call. Won’t show up. Don’t hire this one.

Do not hire this company, I had an appointment for them to show up to do some interior painting.
They ran an ad on Groupon for either a one room paint or a 3 room paint. I originally bought the 1 room paint but figured «hey…I think I need more work done than that» so I went into Groupon and bought the 3 room deal. Knowing that you can’t combined special offers like that my plan was to cancel the 1 room via contacting Groupon and just get the 3 rooms done.
Well, I guess the main guy (Alex) at 4 seasons didn’t want Groupon to even list the 3 room deal and he was so mad at them, he took it out on me and said he wouldn’t even do the 1 room I had already paid for. Way to treat your customer buddy!
Anyway, this place obviously has no professionalism, stay away. I you have a Groupon for this company… I’d go ahead and cancel it yourself. It’s going to save you lots of frustration.

Groupon and Living Social purchasers beware! I recently purchased this deal from Groupon:
. The voucher is good for «$ 125 for interior painting of one room measuring up to 12’x12’.» I was so excited to have my room painted!
Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with this company. First of all, if you call, don’t expect anyone to talk to you. Upon calling the guy who is 4 Seasons
he told me that he was working and to leave a message through his website.
So I went to his website, which was not listed on the Groupon. I sent a message with several days that I was available and explained that I had all the paint ready for the ceiling, trim, and walls. His reply to this email? «Did you read the groupon before you buy it?» Thus began a guessing game wherein I reread the ad and tried to figure out where I had gotten it wrong, and he condescendingly told me to read it again. (So he obviously wasn’t too busy working.)
I finally learned that, in his mind, «$ 125 for interior painting of one room measuring up to 12’x12’» only included painting the walls. No ceiling paint. No trim paint. How is that painting a room?!
He also claimed that he would have to charge me extra because of the location of my house. The Groupon reads «Valid within 25 miles of zip code 98 011.» I Googled that zip code, and my address is 22 miles from Bothell. He claimed that it was more than 25 miles from his office, but this address is not given on the Groupon or on his website.
Exasperated, I called Groupon to let them know. The customer support was awesome. They looked over the Groupon and confirmed that it did not say anything about only painting the walls, and that any reasonable person would assume that the whole room would be painted. (Who charges $ 250 to paint the walls in a room?) They looked up my address and confirmed that it was within the 25 mile limit. They offered to work with the vendor on my behalf or to refund my money. The guy had been so nasty that I really didn’t want him in my house. Plus, I had no confidence in his work ethic or quality, so I opted for the refund. I sent him an email letting him know that I was no longer interested in his services and that I had reported the issues with his ad to Groupon. His reply? «Is not a issues my ad on groupon before you buy it you have to read it ! Have a grate day!»
