Horrible customer service! Rented a uhaul for 1 hour, upon my return the rental agent in the office said to me «I’m busy doing payroll, I will check you in later and email a receipt» . I said that I would prefer she do it while I’m there and I wanted a final receipt. She rolled her eyes, let out a sigh and went out and checked in the truck. Without saying another word and several sighs later she handed me a receipt, I said thank you as a prompt for at least some appreciation of my business, but to no avail, not a peep. I left, but was fuming so I went back in and told her how I felt and that when a customer spends $ 54 for a one hour rental($ 19.99 advertised) which includes insurance, a simple«thank you» goes a long way, and no negative trips to Unilocal

I’m solely writing this because if someone else had done the same before I had moved in, I would have moved on. If you’re getting a unit on the 2nd floor, be sure to check out the ‘lift’ first. The one in my building doesn’t go all the way down so that it’s flush with the ground, and it doesn’t go all the way up so that’s it’s flush with the 2nd floor. There is a small ramp you can use but if you have more than a few boxes on a cart, it is all but useless because the boxes will slide right off. It was extremely frustrating to say the least. Other than all that, the service was very nice.

The rental parking spots are not paved and they are angled in a weird way that makes getting your trailer in and out hard. But I’d still give them 4 starts for the price and the customer service.
