We have used All Seasons twice now with great results. They first did a waterproofing job in our sons crawlspace. When he bought the house, there was quite literally a lake in the crawlspace. It had apparently been this way for a long time and there was a terrible mold problem in the house. It was not even possible to walk by the outside opening to the crawlspace without your eyes watering and having breathing issues. They inspected the job, said it would be no problem and gave a reasonable estimate. The work was done on-time and on budget and most of all it worked great. This has been over 3 years now and they haven’t had a problem since. Because of this, we had them do their magic in our own home. All went well but we found a minor problem with the concrete repair. They came back out, agreed that there was a problem and sent the crew back and they re-did all of their previous work without complaint and apologized for the inconvenience. Great customer service. Our neighbor just asked for a recommendation for their basement and we were happy to pass along this great find.

No stars A long review but feel it is necessary to provide details so others can avoid working with All Season’s Waterproofing. Two weeks into December 2012 we discovered wet carpet in a corner basement exercise-bonus room. We contacted 4 area water remediation companies to begin the process of getting bids to get it addressed. Our first choice was PermaDry as we worked with them before in a different basement area & they did a great job addressing the water issue. Unfortunately, they were booked solid & unable to come out quickly. Given the amount of water, we could not wait. Two of the other contractors proposed systems different from what PermaDry had used. The fourth outfit, All-Seasons Waterproofing, proposed a system nearly identical to what PermaDry installed, plus Kirk Carlson, the owner of All-Seasons, had come out to bid the job and was able to get us on the schedule quickly. Given this, we chose to go with All-Seasons. All-Seasons came in 2 days after Christmas. They broke through the slab around the perimeter starting in bathroom, into the exercise-bonus room, & a bedroom, going out under an exterior side wall into the yard. The design called for a trench dug to connect the drain system to an existing exterior catch basin. All work seemed to progress fine. With the slab perimeter removed, a trench was dug, perforated French drain pipe installed with cleanouts. We noted one issue with a T-cleanout located where the shower pan would eventually go & the installer said he’d move & replace it. From this point washed pea gravel was placed over the drain pipe along with a plastic shield system that ran up foundation walls, & finally fresh poured concrete. Job done & we just needed to wait until the concrete cured to begin putting the rooms back together. A month or so later, we had measurable rain. Looking in one of the cleanouts in the middle of the French drain run, we found standing water. Looking in a cleanout further downstream, we found no water. With a gravity drain system we expected that once water entered the pipe through the weep holes it would continue through the system & see water moving in the downstream cleanout. We also noted the concrete in the bathroom was damp as if it was wicking water up from below. We contacted All-Seasons. First we were told the concrete dampness was«normal» & that concrete can take up to 2 months to cure. As far as the standing water in the middle cleanout, they didn’t seem too concerned but agreed to come out & look. During the visit, the All-Seasons’ employee put a garden hose in the middle cleanout & had it run for at least 10 minutes. Despite the approximate 100 gallons of water going into the cleanout, none showed up in the downstream cleanout less than 30 linear feet away. The All-Seasons’ employee said he would contact Mr. Carlson Carlson came out & after a great deal of discussion & heated debate, he finally agreed to have a crew back out. The All Seasons crew arrived the second time, they broke up the 90% of the previous work & found the French drain system was installed with little to no slope so it would not drain. Sections of pipe were installed with the weep holes along the bottom of the trench so any water that would enter the system would simply drain right back into the trench instead of flowing through & to the outside. The trench was re-dug, the drain pipe sloped & weep holes positioned correctly. Washed pea gravel was put back over it & new concrete poured. Our hope was at this point we’d be able write a review detailing how All Seasons corrected the problems & we were happy with the work. This is not the case. To install the French drain system, it required a complete demo of the bathroom. As our bath remodeling contractor began work, he needed to break through the slab to relocate the shower drain and found the French drain was not connected where it ran around some existing plumbing with an inch gap between pipe sections. We called All Seasons again. All Seasons sent out a worker to check & he agreed it was an issue. He said he’d need to come back the next day. He showed up the next day & repaired the section. Maybe now, we hoped all would finally be good. Sadly, as our bath contractor continued his work, we found that not be the case. He uncovered more of All Seasons’ poor quality work. The T-cleanout fixture originally incorrectly located where the shower pan was not replaced. It was simply rotated 90 degrees toward the back wall with a torn piece of visqueen plastic vapor barrier placed over the opening. When the pea gravel was placed over it, it forced the plastic into the pipe, along with pea gravel & blocked the pipe. Had we not discovered it, we’d likely be looking at ripping out a new bathroom. After removing the T-fitting, we found yet another section of drain installed with the weep holes almost at the bottom of the pipe. We cannot recommend All-Seasons for any work.
