Its funny how the so called«classy» barista had to make a Unilocal account just to give their job a better rating. Leann, you’re obviously the one with no life since you took the time to respond to all of the bad reviews and to private message me. I’ve had the flu before and that wasn’t it. It was probably expired milk in your shitty coffee. Get over it. Your coffee sucks!

I just moved here from Seattle and LOVE atomic java! The girls are very nice, service is quick and the coffee is the best! It’s also less expensive than most! I have definitely found my new spot!

Nt impressed at all. I recently tried this place in the later afternoon around 538pm. I had a long hair brunette serve me. She seemed annoyed that she had a customer. My hazelnut latter was warm, I like my coffee hot and it was luke warm. My shots were watery so it tasted like a hazelnut milk. Gross! As I drove away, I realized she had her boyfriend visiting, no wonder why I wasn’t a priority. I took note that she drove a red car, I will not go back to her nor will recommend this place. It’s also hard to access.

I like coffee. I like my coffee to taste, well, tasty. Atomic Java baristas make my white chocolate mocha taste tasty 90% of the time. Baristas are pretty nice, although I sometimes get the«I’m-only-being-nice-to-you-in-hopes-of-a-tip» feel…

First off I need to mention I am NOT a coffee snob, I will drink Folgers in a pinch, so if I say a particular cup of joe sucks… you might want to take that into consideration. I only stop here as an impulse purchase, I see the sign and say to myself; «self, coffee sure sounds good right now». Then it dawns on my that this is my last chance to get one before I hit the freeway, and am stuck in traffic coffeeless for the next hour. damn! The baristas are nice, but that is like saying«El Gaucho’s serves steak» isn’t that your job? Well now that I think about it, being nice is my job and I only manage to pull that off about 40% of the time, but to my credit 60% of my customer’s are dumb asses. I digress… «let me explain… no there is too much let me sum up» Their coffee tastes weird, not a good weird.

Been here a few times and haven’t yet had a problem with service. The baristas are friendly and the conversations seem genuine. I like the location(even if being on the highway makes it hard to get out sometimes) and the fact that they have two booths makes the wait pretty short. However, I ordered a blended mocha today and it tasted great… if you are looking for a chocolate milkshake. Where’s the coffee flavor? She asked if I wanted any shots in it but I assumed there would be at least one espresso shot included since it’s listed as a mocha. I guess I’ll have to ask about that on my next visit(when I’m low on time and can’t hit up Starbucks). One last thing. Watch out for crossing baristas. I almost hit one today because she was at the other booth, waiting for business.

Curiosity got the better of me, so I stopped by Atomic today. Curiosity at the few reviews and how quickly a 0⁄0 Unilocal aka atomic barista knew about, and responded, to Don’s review. I’ve been before, once. maybe twice. It’s location and access are quite ridiculous. For the many coffee options that litter up and down the Bothell Everett Hwy, I cannot for the life of me imagine ever making Atomic one of my ‘regular’ coffee places. Add traffic conditions in this area and it removes it from the map completely for me. My drink was not the worst I’ve ever had, but it was far from the best. I’m thankful I had a mom who worked in real estate when I was a kid. Just like you learn that ‘cozy’ really means’ cramped’ in a home, I’ve learned that«friendly» for a barista really means«cute and/or with a tramp stamp showing’. Since I don’t have a penis controlling my thoughts, it took me some time to figure out that ‘friendly’ connection. The wait, the lackluster chatter, the location and the sub-par coffee means, «Meh, I’ve experienced better»

Atomic Java is an espresso drive through with two shacks and a fancy neon sign. Baristas are friendly, and they make a great mocha breve. I would have given it 5 stars if they were more consistent. Some baristas are much better than others. Update: Upgraded to 5 stars. Drinks have been consistent lately and after visiting a few other local shacks I have gone exclusive with Atomic Java!
