Discount Tire Store – Bothell, WA

I had unexpectedly one of the most pleasant experiences going here to get my car tires repaired of an air leak. I had read some of the reviews, but was hesitant to believe it could be so good without any catches. I called them on Friday and made an appointment for the next day. The customer service was impeccable and they were able to finish work on my car in about ½ hour. Turns out there was a nail in my tire. They removed it for free, fixed the leak and filled air in the tire and didn’t charge me anything for the service. It might be a tactic to bring you back, but they have definitely earned my loyalty for tire services. Thank you!

Discount Tire is my go to tire store and i have been going to this location for the last 10 years. i went in on Saturday afternoon 15 – 20 minutes till closing with a flat tire repair. The man at the counter pulled my file, asked if i still had my car and i replied that i had purchased a new car and he said give me your keys ill take care of everything. 15 minutes after closing the guy came in called my name and handed me my keys and thanked me for my business. i was so impressed by the attitude of the team, happy to help even at the end of the day. i am really impressed with the service, definitely exceeded my expectations. Just awesome people! I discovered a nail in a tire this morning. Discount Tire Store was the closest, so I swung by, and it was a great choice. A gentleman at the front told me it would be about an hour but managed to get to my car sooner than that. He also took the time to inspect the traction and gave me tips on safe driving. When the repair was done, I was told it was free of charge! I know where I’ll go when the time comes to replace the tires.

Wonderful place and competitive prices. My tire blew out on Thursday, I went in for a quote on Saturday and set-​up an appointment for today. Setting up the appointment was easy, my husband and I stepped in close to closing but were promptly help out (great customer service)! Matt quickly found out what tires I needed, saw that they were in stock and created the appointment.
I arrived a few minutes before my appointment to a small queue of customers and we were helped within five minutes of each other. Nathan set-​up my invoice and claimed that my tire installation would be done within an hour of my 3:45 appointment. He even walked out to my car, inspected the tread and recorded my milage (standardized procedure as far as I know with tire maintenance).
I waited onsite, no wi-​fi but they had a restroom, coffee, water and comfortable seating. Nathan was non-​stop with phone calls and helping customers (again, great and personable staff onsite). Around 4:30 another staff member called my name and joked that my car would be ready within 43 second (dry humor that I appreciated); just like that he backed my car out of the service stall, turned it on and with one last walk around my vehicle, I was set to take off! When I returned home I saw that my spare was pumped and back to its spot in my trunk (really nice touch).
This was my first flat tire and with the type of customer service and expertise Discount Tire provides, I feel as if I found my tire shop in Bothell!

These guys were honest and fair when I came in to have a flat tire repaired they didn’t try to sell me 4 new tires. I had a nail in my front tire that came out and the tire went flat as I drove on it. I took it to another big tire shop and they told me it can’t be repaired and tried to sell me 4 new tires. Since I bought these tires less than 2 years ago I decided to call Discount Tire. I talked to Matt who was very nice and told me if the tire can’t be fixed he would give me a deal on a new tire. So I came in and Matt was busy with another customer, I explained everything to this other very nice guy who came out to the car with me and checked all my tires. He explained since I drove on the flat tire that one needed to be replaced but the other tires had half the tread left and can go another 10,000 miles. I left there feeling like I got a great deal on a brand new tire and that they were looking out for my best interest. I will definitely be back to this Discount tire when I need to buy new tires. Thank you for great service and honesty.

I was pretty upset when I realized I was driving around with a flat. I was even more annoyed when after changing out the spare, I had not one but TWO screws/​nails in my tire.
I took it into this Discount Tire near my house due to all the great Unilocal reviews, and was happy to learn that instead of shelling out money for a new tire, they would be able to simply repair the tire. They also provided good information about my spare, let me know it was a full size so it was ok to drive around on it for a while. (disclaimer, clearly I know nothing about cars or tires). They also dropped some knowledge on the current state of my tires and it was evident that all the staff knew what they were doing, and were all pleasant to work with without being overly customer service-​happy.
I left my flat tire over night – it was actually repaired the same day but I couldn’t pick it up till the next. When I came back, they not only helped put it back on, and placed the spare back where it belonged, but they shined all of my tires and as I reached for my wallet, told me that everything was done at no charge. I was very pleasantly surprised because everyone hates it when we get unexpected costs with cars, home repair etc. They were really the definition of great customer service, and I will definitely come here in the future for tire related things.

It was time to buy tires and as most car owners these days know this is not a cheap date. I did my research and decided on the tire I wanted for my car. I shopped around and Costco had the best price. I have heard a lot of stories about Costco taking a very long time to get tires installed. I just did not want to spend a whole Saturday getting tires put on.
I called up Discount Tire close to my home and talked to Keith. He was friendly and agreed to match the Costco price of $ 635 for the Michelin tires I wanted. I made an appointment for this morning. The experience could not have been better. I showed up at 8am and was driving away at 8:40. Keith even charged me $ 5 less than we agreed on via our phone conversation.
I had a very bad experience with Discount Tire in Burien 27 years ago and have not been in one of their stores again until today. This experience has not only erased that bad experience but has made me a Discount Tire customer for future purchases.

I am totally impressed with this store. I had a blowout on the way to work and the staff at Discount were wonderful. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes, they didn’t try to sell me anything other than what I needed, and were friendly and professional. No one likes to buy tires or deal with car trouble, so it’s great to find a place that makes it easy and stress free. Good job!

Professional, Trustworthy and Reliable. After driving through a pothole my front tire was loosing air, also tread is very low and I know they need to be replaced. Initially thought to delay going to a repair shop until I have decided on which set of tires than spending for fixing it. Looked up online for a tire shop and called right away (haven’t checked Unilocal though). J.J. answered and he thought initially it might be the rim since I mentioned pothole, come by before 6 and we will take a look and let you know. I went there, J.J. walked to the car, took a look and said its not rim, we have to check inside. I also mentioned about thinking of getting new tires as I know about the tread wear and he suggested couple of options and if needed we can do it today based on diagnosis of the tire. I waited there reading some magazines and then someone called my car model and showed a new part of probably snap-​in valve which was broken and so its loosing pressure and they installed it. They do work until all the cars that were waiting are done, informed me you will be done soon. Kept the car right outside the door and mentioned you car is ready, I was asking about payment, J.J. said we don’t charge for this, I was very surprised and when I went outside the mechanic told me the sensor will be on and after 10 minutes of driving it will go away. Exceptional Service period.

This is the second time I’ve been there this month.
My first was a walk in with a flat in my trunk. While there was a 3-​ish hour wait, I was close to home and was able to go while they worked. They work until all the cars are done for the evening, and they estimated the time perfectly. Even having to buy a new tire was as inexpensive as it could be under the circumstances.
Today was my second time. I’d made an appointment to get a nail out of my tire and to make sure the rest didn’t have slow leaks from punctures as well. I was there for maybe an hour, and there wasn’t even any charge for fixing my tire.
The fellas there are all really nice and treat the customers well.

A flat tire can definitely put the breaks on any weekend mission to conquer critical errands. Shopping for reasonably priced tires can also be time consuming and the added wait time to return get your vehicle back on the road is even more stressful. Discount tire seems to have their operations drilled down to providing world-​class service. A recent flat tire experience placed me in a sudden quest to find replacement tires. I spent a few hours searching for the best deals online and completed a few calls for stock/​price confirmation. Out of 4 locations (Costco, Discount Tire, Sears, Mazda Dealership) Discount Tire had the lowest price and shortest amount of time to procure.
I visited the store and they were able to temporarily fix the flat within minutes. I made an appointment and ordered the tires from the Bothell-​Everett highway lcoation. The tires arrived within the quoted time and the store immediately called me to notify. The attendant was able to complete the installation within 40 minutes. He even set a reminder for an upcoming first tire rotation. The knowledgeable staff, immediate service, competitive prices and proactive recommendations definitely wins my business.

AFter getting my brakes done and spending an obscene amount of money… I was shown that my two front tires were about to burst running on wires… Treads were good… so I thought. Not only were they extremely helpful and knowledgeable… they did everything they could to assist me.
Keith not only made my budget work… he and everyone who worked on my car went above and beyond. This will be my store, and I’ll definately refer everyone I know to this location. Awesome job guys!!!

Called in and asked if they had tires I was looking for which they said they did. When I showed up to buy the tires they didn’t have them but suggested another size. Came in next day to have tires put on. They said to wait 40 min. When I returned 40 minutes later the tires were not on and they claim they were about to call me and say the tires were the wrong size when they probably knew right off the bat.

They repaired my flat for free although they advised me to replace tires. Got a call from them when i got home that they didn’t put my wheel back so i had to go get it. After compare prices and reviews, i went back the next day to buy a set of new tires. I asked if they can dispose my spare and keep one of the best used tire as spare. They did it. I’m pleased with their services.

There are a few things in life that I avoid and dread. Replacing tires is one of those things. But, thankfully, Wifey and I live close to Discount Tire.
One of my tires was cut and unable to be repaired. The other three were near splitting. All four had to be replaced. I was not happy.
J.J. (the Assistant Manager) came out and met me next to my car, patiently listened while I grumbled and complained, and brought me into the showroom where he not only talked me down from the ledge, but helped me find a solution. Budget was a concern this time, so J.J. found a set of tires that worked for both the budget and the car. And he gave me a rebate!
We’ve been to this location before and will continue to come again because J.J. and his team listened, helped, and made a crummy situation much less crummy!

WOW! I don’t normally write reviews, but these guys were great! My tire had a slow leak, so, I made an appointment, they removed both a nail and a screw from 1 tire, and then checked my other tires to make sure there were no other issues, all within the 30 min they said it would take! Then they brought my car around for me, so I didn’t have to walk across the parking lot. Super friendly and great service!

Buyer Beware. Just paid for 4 new Michelin tires and 4 new rims installed. Next day I look at the tires more closely to find out they didnt even install Michelin tires but something entirely different. Now, I have to go there again and wait till they change everything out all over again. What a waste of time. Not sure if this was an honest mistake or if someone is truly trying to scam customers. I take this as a huge insult they would do that. What they think no one would notice?

I ordered my new wheels here this week & couldn’t be happier!
I bought new tires last summer from the Costco in Woodinville & really regret it. Their service is non-​existent & when I had a concern about my tire the other day, they just didn’t seem to care. I left still having questions & knowing my wheels just came in, I figured I’d talk to the guys here since they had already been so helpful!
They explained the situation with my tire before putting my wheels on & made me feel so much more comfortable. My wheels only took 3 days to deliver & they called me as soon as they came! Installation was very fast — I was in & out in about 30 minutes!
Thank you for the exceptional service — I will always appreciate people going above & beyond! I will definitely be back when it’s time to buy new tires again!

I forgot to post months ago but I left my car there to have tires balanced for free. I forgot my car was there and left with my mom. I remembered at closing and really needed my car! The manager stayed an extra hour so I could get my car and it was still free. Wow! Love those guys!

Very helpful when I asked for advice on new tires. I did a lot of research and they have the best selection and prices for tires that I saw. Very friendly and helpful service.

Hit a pot hole so came back to see what offers I could get from Discount Tire. Seems they have taken a page out of Les Schwab’s customer service manual. I was offered full credit for my tire and charged $ 85 for labor/​new warranty and wheel balancing on all four tires. This would have cost $ 160 but return customers are treated exceptionally well. I would highly recommend Discount Tire. Free bottle of Crystal Geyser water hit the spot in this summer heat!

Staff are friendly enough. But we made an appointment for noon. It took 45 minutes to get our car in. When we mentioned that we had an appointment the reply was, «we’re busy today.»
I think they just take people in as they walk through the door. Just be honest and advertise «first come, first served.»

After hitting a curb and popping one of my tires heading into an interview (think I was slightly distracted?!) I headed into Discount Tire for a replacement. Unfortunately the tire I needed was a special order and was going to take 3 – 5 days to get… And the cost, $ 200. Real special tires apparently, thanks Subaru for picking the cream of the crop.
It took 3 business days for the tire to come in. I made an appointment for first thing, when they opened at 8am.
The guy (I think his name was Michael) came running out to assist. We went inside to do the paperwork. After seeing how many miles were on my car (the tires as well… Only 8k) Michael decided to call Yokohama to see if there was any warranty left. The way he spun it to the Yokohama people, I swerved to miss a road hazard. As a one time courtesy, they offered $ 50 off! What a great service to me, and so appreciated his efforts to make that phone call! $ 50 bucks is $ 50!
I gave up Schwab years ago, and on a day like today I’m glad I did! Awesome service guys! In and out in about 30 minutes! Woo-​Hoo!
