This has been our«go to» evening outing place for over 10 years. Over the years their great food, yummy martinis and superb service has not disappointed … Usually… We had a less than stellar dinner about a month ago, and we thought«oh no, I guess we’ll have to find a new place«. Well I’m glad we gave them another chance — we had an excellent experience again last night !! We always like to sit in the bar, a more casual atmosphere than the restaurant, plus you can watch whatever sports they have on.;-) the bartender Jamie was super friendly and attentive and made a point to introduce himself and learn our names. He kept our drinks refilled and we never had to wait for him to check on us . The food was ONPOINT. They had just run out of our favorite sashimi, but we were very pleased with the saucy shrimp and lamp chop lollipops which literally melted in your mouth. We enjoyed the huge portioned house salad — amazing dressing and has been consistent for as long as we have coming here. We shared a burger, made in a lettuce«bun» and split in half just like we requested. A good night indeed ! Can’t wait to have another«date night» here. Thanks for keeping up the standards guys ! :-)

This review relates to take out experience only. We received a gift card for Bloomin Brands and decided to try out the bonefish grill. We chose take out on a busy weeknight. Ordering experience was standard– you call up and tell them what you want– no online order available. Pick up is also standard — you have to park and go in, no curbside like sister store outback, food was ready when promised and order was correct. Food– meh. We tried a little of everything from their eclectic menu. The bang bang shrimp were what we expected based on other reviews. The potstickers were bland and rubbery. Crab cakes are good and still crispy even in a take out container. The remoulade is delightful. The corn chowder with crab is worse than canned soup. No freshness at all. Bonefish grill salad was great, nice vinegrette. The sirloin and crab cake dinner is actually pretty good. In other reviews I’ve seen the steak poorly reviewed but I thought it was good. The coleslaw is a superstar side and is fresh and flavorful– love the cilantro in it. The potato side is just ok. The real star here was the bread and the oil herb dip. Interpret that as you will. We liked our dinner enough but probably wouldn’t order again.

Great food and drinks! I love the happy hour, their lemon drops and the bang bang shrimp/chicken are awesome! Good service, have had a issue with incorrect orders, but they are always quick to fix it and courteous.

So I was in the mood for steak so I thought I would take my family out to eat. First impression is nice, menu looks good. I order a steak with the truffle Mac and cheese. My wife orders the fish tacos that are highly recommended. Of course the waiter asks me how I like my steak and I tell him medium. Finally food comes out and it looks great. I carve into my steak and it’s basically raw. No problem, I’ll just wait for the waiter and problem solved, things like this happen sometimes. No waiter in site, it must have been 15 min before I’m like this sucks, I’m waiting to eat my food and my wife is showing down on her mediocre tacos. I tried them and they were bland. Finally I get my steak back and what do you know, it’s fried rubber. Super disappointed. I didn’t even eat it. I sure paid though.

Great service from Mike as usual. Consistently good is their Josephine mussels. Finish off by dunking their yummy bread in the sauce. Ended with key lime pie: delicious with the right amount of tangy and sweet.

You know, it’s interesting how the service can make or break a meal. We’ve had several nice meals at Bonefish, but no so much with our last experience. If you’re like me, when you go to a restaurant with prices like Bonefish prices you expect the service to be a notch above your standard restaurant. We were here for a birthday celebration, but our server, Mike, was apparently just not in the mood to do his job. He was snippy and unhelpful and his attitude was huge mood killer. He had about three other tables to work so it’s not like he was swamped. Luckily he was so obviously rude from the beginning that we were able to make the decision to leave prior to his putting our order in. Why waste your money on a less than positive experience?

Great value for good food in suburbia. This location has a nice environment, if a little dark. The bat is well stocked with beer & spirits, wine selection is solid and you can catch some games on TV. The dining room is fairly quiet considering.

Good martinis, nice staff but the fool tasted like KFC. Don’t waste your time and money. Do your stomachs a favor and drive on down the road.

I chose Bonefish as the perfect place to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and we’re hoping for a nice, relaxing dinner. I made the reservation for 5:45pm, well before the dinner rush started. In fact, when we got there the place was half empty. We got immediate service, which was great. Got our drinks and decided to order an appetizer. She set the appetizer down and asked us what we wanted to order. I thought it was a little fast, but okay. We each ordered a salad and an entrée. About 5 minutes later our salads came, we weren’t even halfway done with the appetizer. So, we started on the salads and barely 8 minutes later our entrees came. So after sitting down at the table, in less than 20 minutes we had an appitizer, salad and entrée and bread all on the table at the same time. I understand she wanted to turn the table quickly, but that was absurd. She blamed the kitchen for being«on point» and the food runner blamed the server for turning in the tickets all at the same time. As usual, the food was excellent. But when you feel like you are being rushed through the meal so she can make more tips, it’s a terrible dining experience.

Ok I had heard the food was very good here and it was but the service was completely messed up, let me describe our experience. We were seated almost immediately, our waiter arrived very quickly, so far so good but it all went downhill from there. we ordered drinks which also came without delay and then we ordered the bang bang shrimp, this was also served fairly rapidly but it was served without plates, it was just an order of shrimp placed between us, we then noticed that the tables around us were being served complimentary bread with small plates, this seemed odd and so we waited for our waiter to show up again so we could ask for plates, when he returned he realized he had not brought us bread or plates which he then did, ok so no big deal, we ordered and when our meals arrived he noticed that my burger that I had ordered with bacon was missing the bacon now instead of taking it back he then brought me a plate with 2 pieces of bacon on it I couldn’t believe it. Ok so most of you will say no big deal but to me when I go out to eat I expect to be served I shouldn’t have to play build a burger I’m paying for more than just food its also the experience and for me this meal turned out to be a disappointment.

went for lunch around 1:30 so it wasn’t too busy! our server Jamie was very nice and helpful. I got the lunch special with soup, salad, and the fish tacos which were delicious! my boyfriend had the coho salmon, also super yummy. Jamie even gave us all five of the sauces so we didn’t have to choose just one! we’re here on a week long business trip so if we have the chance, we plan on stopping back in!

Had the fish and chips, was pretty greasy and not much fish. The place is a chain, so it was clean and neat, not busy and the best thing was the Service. It’s a better option than anything else that was local.

Came here to celebrate my brother’s birthday and was very happy we decided on this restaurant! Vicky was our server and she is amazing, very helpful in advising us in our entrée choices, extremely attentive, and a pleasure to talk to. This was my second time at this restaurant, and I’ve had a great experience every time. All the servers and bartenders are very nice and make you feel like you’re the only customer. I highly recommend this place!

Will keep this short and to the point. Went in with a bunch of friends and grabbed dinner. Menu selection was allover the place. From Thai to cajun to British to American cuisine, everything was jumbled in there… Finally decided to go safe and just grab the fish and chips. A standard dish of cod and fries. A little while later the food arrived. It tasted like burnt oil with fish in the middle. Nothing spectacular sadly. My friends had the… Well it doesn’t really matter what they got cuz they only ate half of it and none of us took any leftovers home. Perhaps we came in on an off night. Will try it again and update the review, once that burnt oil taste goes away from my mouth.

Girlfriend and I stopped by after work on a Friday evening since I have been wanting to try this place out. It was alright. We ordered oysters on the half shell, half spicy and half normal. If you’re going to order the oysters, do yourself a favor and order the spicy. It tastes so much better! I was kind of upset when the check came and it was more expensive, if I had known, I would have just ordered all of it in spicy. It wasn’t spicy though, just the flavor was much better. Girlfriend can’t eat too spicy and she even loved it. The crab cakes were also delish but the portion was so small… I was a little disappointed… but what can you expect with seafood? Drinks were good too. I want to go back and try some other food. I hear they have a happy hour menu hidden somewhere???

This was my first time at Bonefish and I was hesitant to even come here. Now I see why. When we walked in, there was no salutation. Just a smirk and a «Do you have a reservation?» I didn’t think anything of it at first. Then we sat at our table and ordered drinks. I ordered a beer and it only took a good 15 minutes for it to arrive. Shortly after that, we finally ordered. While waiting, we played that connect the dot game for a really long time before we received our food. I ordered the fish tacos and didn’t have too high of expectations as the only ingredients were fish, mango salsa and sour cream. When we eventually received our food, which was about 20 minutes after we ordered, the fish wasn’t seasoned and the only thing I could taste was the mango salsa. According to everyone else at the table, their orders weren’t worth the money or tasted that great either. The clams ordered were supposed to be shucked off of the shell but they weren’t which it made it a little more time consuming that they’d hoped. Although I thought all restaurants are supposed to shuck them when they’re served? Throughout the 2 hrs we were there, about 5 – 10 different people passed by our table and had we not asked for water refills or the check, we would have sat waiting for a really long time. Our waitress only showed up to serve the food and to drop off the bill. No idea where she was in the time between then. When we left, there was no acknowledgment that we were leaving, no goodbye, thanks for coming! Just a step to the left to let us leave.

Went Friday Night 3÷6÷2015 — Reception: Took us to a table with no chairs. We had to stand there and wait for chairs to be brought to our table. I ordered the«Authentic» Lobster Bisque — Sea Scallops with shrimp in a lemon butter sauce with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Wife ordered Tilapia Imperial with mashed potatoes and broccolini. Wife’s meal was served tilapia with brocolini and broccoli(no mash) My meal — Authentic lobster bisque WORSTEVER(it was nothing but corn and potatoes… Horrible — My main course — I asked my wife — I thought the menu said Sea Scallops not bay scallops — the scallops where so tiny — Taste = None Bland — OMG scallops cold not cooked * Shrimp = cold raw it took some talent to get grill marks on the outside with raw meat on the inside. I suspect frozen because of bland flavor. Seriously I cut into it and the inside is shiny uncooked and chewy to eat… Sauce flavor — Lemon butter??? very faint flavor. Mashed potatoes were ok my wife gave me her broccoli because my plate came with Couscous and potatoes instead of broccoli and potatoes both our vegetables where cold. How does a waiter clear your plate with the entire meal still on the plate(missing 1 shrimp) and not ask if something was wrong with your meal??? Nope not a word… We heard the table next to us complain out the food and get a credit on their bill… We are not that way… If you ask, I will tell you, but I will pay for what I ordered and just never come back… Bill comes — $ 71.07 — Seriously for this crap and one glass of wine and a desert — I read it and it says my meal is a Skewer and chowder cup — I looked at my wife and said what did I order and she repeats what I ordered — I said the bill says«Skewer» and cup of chowder — Now that explains the bad Lobster Bisque — Maybe my main dish was wrong as well… Either way it was raw and flavorless(not to mention wrong sides for both of us) Best part of the meal was the bread — Totally awesome and the dip(pesto with olive oil). Seriously — I’m not wasting $$ 85.00($ 71 + tip) for this crap again… I travel for work and have been to a few bonefish Grill’s in Maryland and Pennsylvania and always liked it — this place in Bothell is HORRIBLE! I just read the other reviews of this place and it seems like you have to be a regular to get good service… Not my words — that what the other reviews say — ‘Matt takes care of his regulars”…

Went to this place randomly with a friend. No wait at all, we got the table right away. We had Chicken Marsala, they didn’t have it on the menu but they custom made it for us since we wanted to have grill chicken. And it was amazing! We also had Bang Bang Tacos which were are to die for! Definitely coming back soon!

Oh man, I was so close to giving this place a three-star review, but it had several redeeming factors. Plus most of my reviews are positive anyway, so Bonefish Grill gets four stars from me, but just barely. The restaurant is a little bit fancier than what I’m used to, the location is conveniently close to I-405, and the service was decent. I was somewhat satisfied, but this type of restaurant is not my cup of tea. I like how after I placed my order and went to the bathroom, I found the place to be clean and well-maintained. I also like how when I returned to my table, they already had a bread appetizer there laid out and waiting for me. The bread came in a single loaf that was mostly pre-sliced. It was soft and came with its own dipping oil. That was so far a pretty good start to a lunch. I had ordered a twisted edamame hummus as a starter, and it was at my table five minutes after I had ordered it. This stuff honestly bore little resemblance to hummus other than the texture. It resembled edamame even less, as it seemed to only have the green color in common with edamame. It just wasn’t very good and I simply gave up on finishing it, which I rarely do with any food. They provided a lot of this hummus, but I didn’t even want to eat all of it. My lunch combination arrived eleven minutes after being ordered, and it was a step up in comparison. Their Caesar salad side was pretty normal, but I liked the fish tacos for the most part. Two soft tacos filled with tilapia and what appeared to be sliced mango made for a great end to a meal. I had never thought about how well fish and mango would go together in a taco, but this restaurant made it happen and I enjoyed it. I just wish the tacos wouldn’t drip with so much juice. This is one of those restaurants that is pleasing in some aspects, but equally displeasing in other aspects. The service was fast and the waiter seemed to care about my enjoyment of the meal, but some parts about the food were off. The hummus came in huge portions, but I didn’t even like it. The bathroom looked nice and the restaurant was also pretty, but I usually don’t like paying high prices for these features. But I’m generally pretty lenient and am in a good mood today, so four stars it is.
