Cute place! Purchased Groupon for wine and appetizer. We were lucky to come on a Friday night to have live music as well. Great music and relaxing! Thanks Lindsay for great service.

Limited menu, and IMHO it is over-priced for what you get. A simple sandwich with sun chips for almost $ 10. Service is civil without being friendly. I’ll stick with the places where I get quality that matches the prices and a smile when the staff is face to face with their customers.

I came here on Easter Saturday looking for a tasty Americano and that is exactly what I got. This café has been on Bothell’s main drag for 3 years. It is set back a bit from Main and can be easily overlooked, I only noticed it coming from the next cross street. There is ample parking around back and a back door for easy access. The place is quaint with neat decoration and eclectic art on the walls, for sale by the artist Amanda Elzea. The barista Melina is very friendly and attentive, she knows how to make a coffee. The music playing is not intrusive, I would call it country, it is as radio station. The place is well kept, furnishings are in good shape. Note that beer and wine is served which is a bit of and odd mix but hey, even Starbucks is catching up to the trend and it seems to work. A menu is available which offers standard fair for breakfast, lunch and dinner for a very reasonable price. I will come back for food and beer, stay tuned.

I really wanted to like this place but the service was rude, the coffee was bad and the food was MICROWAVED and tasted terrible. I don’t know how this place is in business– I’ve never seen a single person in there every time I drive or walk by.

Brew, which opened 3 years ago, is located in a quaint section of downtown Bothell. I went on a rainy Saturday night for a book swap in their back meeting room that they so graciously let us utilize. There’s enough seating in the café area for around 20 – 25 patrons, though it was empty when I arrived presumably due to the cold, dreary weather. The menu is quite extensive. That particular evening, they offered a $ 3 Pumpkin Spice White Mocha Latte that was serviced in a HUGE ceramic mug. Not only do you get your moneys worth, but it was also delicious. I also tried their apple pastry, which the barista said they get from a local bakery. Yum. Around 7PM they had a 2 person and performing. Since it was just me a few and other friends, it felt like our own little private concert. Though Bothell is out of the way from where I reside, I appreciate that they make their back conference/meeting room available to patrons(must have a reservation), and the overall ambiance was enjoyable. And, supporting a small business is always a good idea, right?

I wanted to update my previous review because I stopped in here recently and had a good experience. There was a different employee working and she was both friendly and polite to us. The coffee was decent. I would consider stopping by again.

I always try to support small business and have been going to Brew since it opened over a year ago. But the barista has been consistently surly and rude. Sadly, I think it’s the owner. I feel like I’m bothering her by giving her my money. Additionally, the place is often dirty. I won’t be spending my money there any longer. Sad… because the coffee is pretty decent.

I like this place, I asked for the vegi breakfast dish to be made into a wrap. It was awesome! Lots of avocado and spinach… the lady behind the counter that everyone bitches about was awesome too! I like the funk this place has going on…

Would be great but the customer service is not existent. It always seems like it’s a bother to have to wait on you and take your money.

I was here on Friday afternoon about 4PM, when you might expect that either the place would be deserted between the afternoon and the early evening crowd. Although I was literally the only customer in the place, I was pleased with the quality of the coffee and the environment. My non-fat latte was made competently and was reasonably priced. I didn’t have much conversation with the barista, but that may be my focus on the work I needed to do on my laptop rather than any fault of customer service from her. I will be back.

The coffee is actually decent and it’s an ‘okay’ venue— but the girl who works there all the time is super rude. Just had my last and final experience there. She needs a glass of wine or maybe some Paxil or something

Nice! Wine, coffee, cheese — can you go wrong? I think not. We had a meeting there last night and they were super nice and accomodating. I have a gluten allergy and they even had GF crackers for my cheese plate. Everyone was very satisfied with their light meals/snacks/coffee. Definitely a win.

I came here for a WGU Student meet up. Since it is a coffee house and had lots of breakfast sweets, I didn’t have anything but everyone else’s selections looked good. They have larger tables in the back for meetings. Looks like a great venue.

I’m in favor of a place I can walk to, and a place that serves wine, beer and coffee? Awesome! However, my experience was not so awesome. Don’t get me wrong – the concept of this place is really, really great. I like the idea that it’s a meeting room attached to a business attached to a coffee shop. They even have a 32 oz Americano! Unfortunately, the concept remains underdeveloped(as does the menu). The coffee(Urban City Coffee) was very flavorless in both a pumpkin spice latte and an Americano. This is nitpicky, but the décor wasn’t quite right for a coffee shop, it was a little off for a wine bar, and it didn’t fit for a place you could hang out for beers.(They’ve advertised«Come watch the game at Brew!» but I don’t see how, as there are two relatively small TV up high above the door… Although it gets away from the rowdy«bar» environment, it would not be my first choice to come here to watch a game!) Their wine, beer and munchies menu seemed very short, and their motto, «Irregular attendance required!» kind of a mixed message… I have really high hopes for this place… I know it’s new, so I’m hoping it can get its feet off the ground. If it «warms» up, I’d love to study there or grab a glass of wine. I just think it’s a good concept that has yet to really follow through.

Went in today for lunch and had a very yummy turkey/cheese sandwich and latte. Love the vibe of the place with exposed brick walls and high ceilings. Great alternative to the chains for your coffee and WIFI habit.

This place is awesome. It’s a coffee house with a huge meeting room for networking events, lunch and learns, work shops! The menu is a little limited but Joan the proprietor of the food service part just got back from Italy and I am looking forward to some great addition to the menu. The only thing that keeps this place from being a five star for me is that it’s not close to home. I live in Issaquah and this is the place I am meeting North end people now! Conveniently located off of Bothell Way on Main in downtown Bothell!

Great new spot in the north end. Serves more than just the typical milk-based latte alternatives, such as soy. They also have coconut and almond«milk» available. It sets them apart. So stop in there. Worth exploring. Oh, and the coffee IS good.

We’ve been waiting for this place to open for a while now(yay local business!); once we thought they were finally open because the door was half-open(it’s a farm-style door), but the girl inside said no, but soon. A month later, we talk the dog for a walk down Main to see their neon open sign blinking. They have a water bowl for dogs, so our tuckered out fella helps himself as my husband goes inside to order what I hope will be delicious coffee. He’s in there for a few minutes and no one comes to service him. There was a guy on a laptop in there but I don’t know if he was a customer, worker, or what; when my husband entered a girl was leaving and he says she came from the back of the place. He observed the menu while he was waiting to be helped, but their coffee selections were extremely limited to the usual suspects(e.g. drop, Americano, latte, etc. with no flavorings in sight) and there was no beer. He mentioned they were supposed to have breakfast sandwiches and a turkey something-or-other, but none of this matters if no one is there to process orders. This doesn’t even include the fact that their name is generic, doesn’t tell you what sort of place it is, and is a silly choice if they expect to get their joint to pop up in search results. On top of all this, they have absolutely no presence on the internet that I can find; this is either poor marketing or the aforementioned generic name. I’m so bothered by the facts that no one was there to make coffee and they had no beers(despite a neon Red Hook sign), that I probably won’t check back in for a long time. To be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised if this place doesn’t survive because it seems like whoever it belongs to doesn’t have their act together. I also wouldn’t be surprised if they weren’t able to obtain a license for the beer.
