I wish I could give 0 stars.
I came in for a root canal and they sent me off without even giving me any prescriptions and took no responsibility for my excruciating pain afterwards. Immediately switched to a different place… Very unprofessional both in person and via phone

Dr John Kim came highly referred by a coworker of mine and then by everyone else at my job who used him from the same guy who first referred me.
Hands down best dental experience I have had. I hate the dentist always think of pain when I think dental work but the time had come where I had to get some work done. I had to have a tooth pulled and had to get a few fixed.
All I can say is ZERO pain ZERO none nada nothing
Pricing was fantastic and affordable I have no insurance and thought this would cost me a arm and a leg didn’t even cost me a pinky.
I found the holly grail of dentists here it is obvious he if strongly imbedded with the Korean community huge loss for the other community’s they are missing out here did I mention ZERO PAIN PEOPLE ZERO
I have been back for a filling that fell out (not from this dentist but from like 20 years ago) once again ZERO pain did not cost as much as expected and was in and out not to mention I set the appointment on a time and date I had a previous engagement I could not change called to cancel also let him know I was only in town for 1 more day he squeezed me in that very next day which was a Saturday

Went to Dr Kim for a few years, & the staff was very friendly, exceptionally clean, & the x-​ray equipment was impressive. Dr Kim was very kind, wonderful with cavities, could give a shot that didn’t hurt at all, & worked with me on payments. The reason I give two stars, was for my last experience there a couple years ago, which made me never want to go to Columbia Dental ever again. 2 years ago, I had a root canal, which had to be done TWICE because it was still hurting after a couple weeks, then when he put on the permanent crown, it fell off a couple hours later, & I had to go right back in & get it put back on. That’s not the end of it, though. The same tooth that he did that last root canal on has still hurt me over the past 2 years, progressively getting worse, until recently has been so terribly painful that I asked my current dentist about it, & he said I needed to go see an endodontist (root canal specialist) to see what the issue was, cause he said it didn’t sound good. Well, I went to an endodontist yesterday, & after taking a few x-​rays, they said that the end of the root hadn’t been gotten out on the previous root canals that Dr Kim performed on me, & that it needed to get redone ASAP, & got me in today. I’m so upset that I have to pay for all of this ONCE AGAIN, when it should have been done right the first time, & at the very least, the SECOND time Dr. Kim did it. So, if you need a root canal done, I recommend that you go to a specialist so you don’t have problems with it for years, & have to get it redone.

Dr John Kim is an excellent dentist. The office staff are professional. State of the art dental practice. The place is really clean like you would expect. They work great with my insurance. I took my kids and we all had very good experience.
