Crisafulli Dental

As someone who gets extremely anxious in oral health offices (shoutout to my rocky years of braces), I couldn’t recommend this office more. This was the first time I had visited any dental office other than family, so needless to say, I was hesitant. From booking appointments, cleanings, and (dare I admit) a couple fillings, everybody was extremely kind, gentle, and very thorough. Costs and procedures were explained upfront, and I felt much more comfortable than anticipated. Both dentists I saw were fantastic. After three visits, I can say this is a consistent and positive office I’d recommend. I believe I had all three hygienists– Ale, Katrina, and Helene– who were great! Angelina was my assistant every time and not only did great work, but remembered me too, which is always cool. Makenna, up at the front desk, was extremely helpful with getting all my appointments set up as well. It doesn’t hurt that they have two adorable service dogs in there as well. Thanks, guys!

Husband and I are both extremely satisfied with our experience with Crisafulli dental.
Since the beginning when we first stepped in, we have been welcomed by the friendly staff, Amanda, who greets us by our names! Dr. Chim and Katrina make sure that we both are taken care of for all our needs. They gladly took us after a week when we said we have some discomfort after our filings (which is normal). They even go to the point of giving us X-​ray to show us that all the filings are fine and the discomfort will go away. Surely, it fades away after that! We both are very impressed with their kindness and also can confidently say we believe in their expertise. Bonus side, they are open every other weekend and also give out a movie ticket every time you check-​in! We look forward for our dentist appointments in the future!

Friendly front office… they are conveniently located

I’ve been going here now for the last 2 years, routine checks, filings and other needs. From the moment I walk in the door I feel welcome, everyone is friendly and helpful. On a side note they train rescued dogs and you have a chance to interact if u like dogs! Helene has been my hygienist every visit and she’s so nice, she remembers things about me I’ve told her in the past, she cares about the health of your teeth and explains everything she does! The dentist is amazing and gentle and she never makes you anxious! I’ve referred a couple people to this place and so far everyone has loved their experience!

I have been going to Crisafulli Dental for many years and always had service I was confident in. I had to get a couple of implants done and mine was a more difficult case due to one tooth being absent for 35 years and the bone had to be regrown with a graft. Dr. Suzuki did a great job and it took almost a year to accomplish this goal. Today, I had the crowns put in and the results are amazing. What a difference!
An update about a month later: My implants feel natural now. Yesterday, I had a thorough cleaning with Helene and she did a great job (as always) and all the stains on my other teeth were completely removed. She is always so friendly and personable and makes a potentially not so pleasant activity a lot more comfortable.

I was very happy with the service that they provided. Katrina (Katya) is a dental hygienist, who works at Crisafulli Dental Clinic, referred me to the clinic. She did a thorough job at cleaning my teeth and I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort. Dr. M. Taylor did a great job at my crown, it looks like and feels like my own tooth, I can’t even tell the difference. There was a minor mishap about my appointment, but the ladies at the front desk apologized to me and gave me a coffee card so I wouldn’t feel bad, although I didn’t think it was a bid deal anyway. I can definitely call this clinic my family dental clinic, and I would not want to go anywhere else. It is hard to trust dentists to begin with, but the doctor and the staff at this clinic sure gained my trust and I hope it stays that way. I will definitely refer my friends to them because they have gained my trust. Smiles :-)

The staff is very friendly and professional. I first came in for my new patient appointment on a Saturday! That was amazing! Dr. Taylor was my doctor and she and her dental hygienist were very friendly and helpful. They explained what they were doing and what I needed done and went in to great detail to help me understand. I ended up needing some cavities filled and the front desk made the appointment and gave me a detailed price list.
I came back after work for a 6 pm appointment which I was so happy they could give me times could fit my schedule. Even though nobody likes getting dental work, they were fast, detailed and gentle. All that and I had a comfy chair and a nice view and TV to watch. All together a great dental office that I am so happy found!

Never left a bad review for any company ever.
At my first cleaning, I enjoyed my visit. The equipment was nice, staff seamed very pleasant, and overall it was a good experience. My wife made the appointment. Before I left, I was told I have to pay for the fluoride and the rest is covered by my insurance, I thought it was a bit weird because I was never charged anything for a cleaning before, but because I enjoyed the visit so much, I figured it’s no big deal. When I came home, my wife informed me that when she was on the phone, she was told the fluoride would be free because I was a first time customer. She was also told on the phone that I would get a free whitening as well since I was a first time customer, they didn’t seem to mention anything to me when I was there.
I had to come back because of a few cavities; this was my first of 4 visits I was going to have for the cavities. I was told that my insurance fully covered me. The work that was done was done very well. It wasn’t too painful; obviously done by a professional in the field. I can’t complain about the work itself. Before I left, we scheduled my 2^nd appointment a week later. Lucky for me, when I woke up that morning, I had a very painful migraine, I was not willing to sit under a bright light for hours and have my teeth worked on. My wife called the office and informed them that I would have to reschedule. The person on the other end of the call yelled at her. My wife politely said that we would reschedule in the near future. Lucky for me this migraine would save me HUNDREDS of dollars.
A few weeks later, still feeling some pain in my mouth from the 1^st appointment, I get a letter in the mail. Opening the letter I could not believe my eyes. I receive a bill for over $ 500. No phone call, no heads up, just a cold bill in the mail. The only good thing I saw here was that the «Short Notice Cancellation» fee was adjusted out. I called myself this time. I was told that they, «Made a mistake. They thought that the insurance covered everything but apparently it doesn’t.» Why would you ever tell a customer that everything is covered without double checking or confirming with the insurance company? The only explanation is that you don’t truly care enough about the customer; you just care about your money.
They have lost a customer in me. I have absolutely no desire to work with someone who won’t take responsibility for his or her mistakes. That is NO way to run a business. I will never step foot in this establishment again. I’m writing this review so that no one else has to go through something like this. This was an absolute nightmare.
I really hope they change their ways as a company and begin to take responsibility for their mistakes. A simple call before I received the bill would have already been a big step in their case but didn’t even do that.

I am currently looking for a new dentist. I had a tooth fixed here and everyone was friendly but they didn’t disclose to me that they were out of my network which I would think they would know. I know it is my responsibility to check that but it cost me $ 100 out of my pocket and an in network dentist, I would have been able to do more. Instead when they found out I was out of insurance they just kind of dropped me like a bad habit. The tooth they did to this day is not 100% straight and I get some tooth pain from it. I can’t eat on that side of my mouth after a year. I am having a new dentist look at it now. The most annoying thing was the text messages they kept sending me about my appointment that I was due for.

Crisafulli Dental has been our family dental group since we moved to Bothell 3yrs ago. The staff is very friendly and schedule an appointment is very easy. Dr Wendy is friendly and jovial.

Dr. Crisafulli is the BEST! She has spent considerable time attending Kois Center dental seminars which are considered the best in the country. She also volunteers her time all over the world to provide dentistry for children in need. I am so impressed by how knowledgeable she is, and how she takes the time to explain everything to me so I can understand. My son loves her too! I highly recommend this office!

My daughter had really bad baby teeth. We had a very bad experience with a different dentist before and therefore didn’t go back. I didn’t know what to do and so we decided to try out Wendy Crisafulli dental.
Wendy Crisafulli has been such a wonderful experience for my daughter. She went there and immediately her teeth started to improve. They repaired all of her teeth without any tears from my daughter. She loves it when she gets a little toy afterwards. They remember all of our names in our family and keep up with our family activities, including having a new baby last year.
My daughter asks me when she can go to the dentist again. This is by far the best dentist in Seattle area. We have had bad experiences before. Other dentists have not been so friendly or had such great facilities.
Also now my daughter’s new teeth are cavity free! I would have never believed she could go from having cavities in all of her baby teeth to becoming cavity free in her grown up teeth in just a few years.
We couldn’t have done it without Wendy’s guidance and assistance! My son now goes there and he loves it too.
Everyone that I have recommended to go there also gush how much they love the place, free coffee and cookies up front. Cute puppies in training to be guide dogs, great facility with modern equipment, TV screen on the ceiling etc.

I had been on a three year personal protest of all dental related things after a bad experience with TLC Dental in Bothell. I knew I needed a cleaning quite possibly a deep cleaning, it wasn’t until my husband chipped his tooth that I actually began my search. I scheduled my appointment and went in. The front desk ladies are wonderful and kind. Then I met Helene (sweet Helene), she would be doing my initial visit and cleaning. She is by far the best person that could have crossed my path to restore my faith in the dental profession. She is kind and keeps me well informed and lets me hold the suction for my own personal OCD reasons. My cleaning took two sessions and to be honest, when I wasn’t at the dentist office over the past two weeks, I was talking about my dentist.
I highly recommend if you are the market for a dentist, this would be one you would give a try. I am very happy and am looking forward to 4 months from now when I go back for a regular cleaning.
PS: the service dogs that are in the office actually helped to ease any anxiety I felt while I was in there. It’s actually nice to see them, they are so sweet and CLEAN!

Yes they are nice people but competent? Not so. They’ve messed up on my cleaning (spilt plack water down my back), night guard fitting (it came back completely off fitting), appointment booking too much that I am definitely finding a new dentist. When I confronted them about it, not even an apology.

Mt family and I have been with this dental group since we moved to Bothell 4 years ago. I have always had a pleasant time with Dr. Bohl and her hygienist but today was the first time that I have left with a very bad feeling and taste in my mouth.
Went in for my 6 month appt. and had X-​rays taken. The overall cleaning and procedure were fine. My meeting with dr. Crissafuli was where it went downhill. She detected some smooth cavities in the x-​ray with her «trained eye» and proceeded to tell me that it takes 50,000 «bugs» to get a cavity like this. Fine, so I booked an appt for the fillings. I did not appreciate the added cosmetic corrections nor did I ask for her opinion. I am 32 years young, take great care of my teeth and do not care if I have a slight gap in my bottom two teeth.
A composite veneer which «which costs half the price at $ 700 a tooth» is not a small price to pay nor is it something I want! I am not made of money and 700 let alone 100 is not chump change. Grooves on my top teeth could be fixed with porcelain veneers and they could do 6 month braces fitting for me.
Lady, focus on the problem. Do not add extras that aren’t necessary unless a patient asks. And do I have any questions? I may be a patient but please do not talk down to your patients nor laugh or try to convince them otherwise.
On another note my daughter had a filling and was given laughing gas to calm her down but I sensed annoyance on the staffs end and afterwards was told that they couldn’t get a complete filling but that it could be redone in the future. My daughter is 4 and she will be losing her teeth. No thanks. Do a good job the first time.

Don’t let the nice dog fool you, these are not kind or gentle people.
I went in search of a new dentist today with Dr. Crisafulli and walked out after the x-​rays but before the full exam. I have a very small mouth, and the assistant, Patrick, was shoving the x-​ray things in my mouth painfully, then when I had a gag reflex (more than once) he didn’t hurry over to help take them out, rather said «wait until after the beep» to take them out. He asked what I was particularly concerned about, I said «I wrote it all in the questionnaire» which he then proceeded to read for what appeared to be the first time. He then showed me all their whitening options, even though I clearly did not indicate any interest in that. When Dr. Crisafulli came over, she said she wouldn’t treat me because my blood pressure was high. So I said «ok I’ll be on my way» and she laughed and said «oh it’s not that easy, we can still do an exam.» I explained that the way she had communicated made me feel like she was telling me she couldn’t treat me. She said she wanted to make it clear that she couldn’t do oral surgery on me if I had high blood pressure. I then asked if I was presenting as if I needed oral surgery, to which she said no. Why make a big deal out of it when what I was there for was a cleaning/​initial exam. I went here b/​c I don’t like going to the dentist but this made it 100 times worse. Beware!

Well I love any place where you are greeted by the smile of a dog! Yep… she has dogs there. It makes it so much more relaxing when they come by for a head scratch.
I’ve been going to Dr. Crisafulli for more than 10 years and have always received professional service at a fair price. I love their cash dental plan for us un-​insured people. Helene of course is my favorite hygienist!
I once received a bill for something I didn’t believe was my responsibility (it happens), so a quick call and it was resolved.
Thanks for making my pearly whites so beautiful for the last decade.

I have really enjoyed my experience with Crisafulli Dental. I haven’t really stuck with one dentist for many years. I’ve been here now for 3 years, so they must be doing something great! I have recommended this office and will continue to do so to family and friends. The staff is wonderful and they are very good with getting me in and out of my appts. That’s so important with my tight schedule! I’ve been and worked at many dental offices, and I wouldn’t recommend many. This office is Overall… Excellent!

If you are looking for total professionalism and perfection in dental work, here is the place just for you… CRISAFULLI DENTAL in Bothell, Washington.
My problem was ALL my teeth. Extensive oral surgery needed to be done. It included extraction of existing teeth and a set of dentures. My teeth had been ravaged by diabetes and gum disease. Because of fear from past dental experiences, I had put it off for years.
With the urging of my children, I finally surrendered to their concerns and started searching for a highly qualified dentist in the area. The entire procedure was explained to me in great detail by three different dentists. My final selection was Dr. Crisafulli and I must admit that it was overwhelming at first. Being the «chicken» that I am and always have been at a dental office, I still felt reluctant and skeptical to go through with it.
I’m beyond satisfied. Matter of fact, words cannot describe how grateful I am to both Dr. Crisafulli and oral surgeon, Dr. Ness, for the precision and perfection in their work. I am forever grateful to them. Within a few hours, they brought back not only a healthy new mouth, but the natural smile I always loved and lost.
Now with my brand new set of «natural looking» dentures, I have it back again. What an awesome and surreal experience this has been!
The best part of it all, I didn’t feel a thing… not even any kind of discomfort. The swelling was so minimal that you couldn’t even tell. I had no bruising at all. WOW!
My appreciation and satisfaction is truly beyond words.
I will definitely recommend them to others with a great big, healthy, proud smile again. A new smile… a new life!

Dr. Crisafulli is the most thorough and precise dentist I have ever been to. I always get swift appointments, and I never wait long if at all when I arrive. The hygienist and assistant that I’ve dealt with are both very polite and competent. The billing ladies are nice too and are on top of their game. I was told well in advance of my procedure what my insurance company would cover and what I would owe. No surprises.
The reception area is very nice with free wi-​fi, a loaner netbook, Xbox 360, and lots of other entertainment for you if you are waiting for a family member and need to kill time.
My husband and I are both patients. She identified problems with both of us that no other dentist ever saw. In a couple of weeks, she got rid of my headaches, jaw clenching, and tooth grinding. I’ve had the problem for my entire life, and no other dentist took the time to evaluate me properly. She did, and the problem is gone.
They do have a wonderful golden retriever, who is in training to be an aide dog, staying in the office some days. I personally love the dog. He is friendly if you interact with him, but if you ignore him, he ignores you. He has several areas where he hangs out so sometimes I don’t see him. Some people don’t like dogs so that’s just something to be aware of. Also, I would never bring my small child there with the dog because she gets super excited about dogs and would squeal and ruin the calm, serene vibe they have.
