Extended Stay America – Seattle – Bothell – Canyon Park

Apparently the WiFi here doesn’t work and the front desk woman Rebecca will tell you there’s something wrong with your device (of course there isnt), all the while not able to do anything to TRY and help. Guess that’s too hard for her. Only staying here as a last resort to another disastrous stay in Bothell. Hint, don’t stay in Bothell.

We stayed here for three weeks, so got a pretty good feeling on this place. The staff were the best! Very helpful, friendly, and plain nice. We used the bbq area, laundry, and exercise area and all were fine for our needs. My only suggestion would be re: the Grab and Go Breakfast. Not much selection. Some toast, cold cereal, juice, etc. would have been nice.
Our room was clean and we were fortunate to have one on the third floor near the stairwell. After three weeks, my daughter had enough of the hide a bed. Better mattress pad would have been nice also.

A little surprised at all the bad reviews. It’s not luxury for sure, but it was fine.
When I couldn’t stand the noise from the construction at my condo any longer I packed a bag and headed here to stay for a few days. It was pretty quiet (especially compared to my place at the time) and clean. The staff at the front desk was great. The gal who checked me in was super nice and just the kind of person you want to be greeted by.
I work nights, so I don’t wake up in time for the breakfast.
It has the full kitchen, but doesn’t come stocked with plates, silverware, etc. unless you request it. It’s really nice to have a full sized fridge either way though! Oh I will say the towels were TERRIBLE. I was tempted to go home and grab a couple back.
It’s not a 4 star hotel but that’ll do donkey, that’ll do.

I would not stay here again. Spend the extra money for a nicer hotel.
It was loud and we were unable to sleep.
There was no coffee or breakfast in the morning, (well before they were supposed to close), as advertised.
There is no maid service unless you stay for more than 8 days.
The blankets were filthy. This is not a place I would bring my family again.

This has been by far the worst hotel experience we have ever had. The bed itself is wrapped in plastic and duck tape. It has a tear in the plastic. I could feel crumbs on the bed when i got into it too. There is only one chair, one rag, one trash can and its not near the bath room, no cups, almost no toiletries, and almost no towels. The interment is insanely slow unless you pay $ 4 a day for 2meg internet. The drawers are all dirty. No maid service.
If you want the basic things like a damn coffee maker or cups you have to ask for it and bring it your room yourself. I’ve only ever seen one employee working at the same time, and they can never be found.
Venture here only if you are up to date on all your shots.

The room looked decent when we first walked in, except there was a musty smell. The room was always stuffy, got better after we turned the fan on, but then it got too cold. There was a blood stain on the bedcover near our faces on one of the beds. Seems to indicate they don’t change the bedlinens even between guests. Also, two empty bottles were under the bed when we arrived, do they not vaccum? In the three days we were there, we did not see anyone cleaning any rooms.
We had to ask for pots and pans and dishes and cutlery when we got there as there are none provided unless you ask. Even then they said the usual provisions only include two sets of forks and glasses and plates, even though we were paying for a room that accomodates six people and there were five of us. Then they gave us a small pot that could barely fit enough food for two (there were FIVE of us) Also, the room came with two towels only. We had to ask for more, which they did easily provide. The staff did seem friendly and were doing the best they could in the situation.
Also, the toilet overflowed so they provided us with a plunger and old towels and asked us to plunge it ourselves. There was only one person ever at the front desk and I think she was probably overworked. Kitchen is not a full kitchen, stove has two elements front and back. There was a kitchen table but only one chair provided.
Breakfast? granola bars and coffee. One day they had apples and oranges and muffins in addition to the granola bars.
Anyways, wouldn’t recommend, it wasn’t like we even got a good deal. We paid $ 119 US per night.

Is not the greatest place to stay, Dan is not the worst place to stay either. The rooms are clean the beds are comfortable. they were doing a bit of remodeling during my stay for the noise level was a bit up. they do have a pool laundry facilities exercise room .not bad for the price

I opted for this hotel since it was close to where my brother lives. The previous reviews were good, so I figured I would give it a shot. This is an extended stay suite, so I could cook food in my room if I wanted, which is nice. The employees were very friendly and personable. When I got to the room, there was a mildew stench. The AC was set to the coldest temp when I walked in. They provide a full kitchen but nothing to cook with or silverware. You had to ask for that. The bed was rock hard. I had issues sleeping the whole time I was there. I was tempted to sleep on the couch as it probably would have been more comfortable than the bed. This hotel did have a fitness center but it consisted of a treadmill, an exercise bike and a stepper that looked liked all three were 20 years old. Breakfast at this place was a joke. There was not any milk or juice. They only had apples, granola bars and muffins. The 3^rd floor was supposed to be for the smoking rooms, but you could still smell smoke from the non smoking rooms. The doors going into the rooms also slammed when you would leave, which made it hard to sleep.
This is a pet friendly hotel, but had to shake my head at the old couple checking in with at least 2 cats. There were a few people who checked in with small dogs; but, I did not hear any barking.
I might opt to pay a few extra dollars more for a more comfortable room next time.

I booked a room at extended stay in bothell for one night and had the worst experience I have ever had in that of dealing with hotels. There was no one at the front desk to greet or check us in instead we had to call someone from the phone on the desk and when we finally got to our room there was food on the wall from what looked like a previous guests stay and a penny on the floor (kind of irrelevant-​but shows lack of vaccum or cleaning) and then when we stripped the top cover of the bed off there were crumbs and dirt on the sheet which pushed us to ask for another room. In doing so there was again no one at the desk and when someone finally came, Tor was his name he got us another room and comforted us by saying ‘it happens sometimes’ — not something a guest ever wants to hear. He told us the manager would call us and we would get a free night, that never happened. We told the next front desk person and they said the same thing, no one ever called or helped. When we talked to the assistant manager she apologizes and said she would help and have someone call us back. To say in the shortest words possible; this hotel was disgusting with uncleanly rooms, bad service and a lack of responsibility. I would recommend to never stay at this hotel.

_​Our room was next to the exit door to the stairwell and I can hear it shut at each use. It was damn loud!
_​Speaking of loud, I can clearly hear people walking and talking in the stank hallway as well as hear that squeaky noise from their one-​and-​only broken bellman cart.
_​Oh yea about the bellman cart, if you lay your luggage perpendicular to the cart you will not get through the door. We squeezed our way through the first door but the 2^nd door didn’t budge. So we removed everything, rearranged our load, and finally made it to the elevator. What a pain though, not just for us but also for the people who patiently waited to get out.
_​The «Grab-​and-​Go» area was ransacked by several large families with kids. The kids acted like animals budging their way through to get the last of what was left. Green apples, creamers, sugars, and a few packets of oatmeal were left behind. Some picked up the oatmeal but put it back down because the G&G area was also out of hot water… and cups, and coffee, and the other coffee, and of course the rest of the snacks. Thank goodness for the kitchenette; we used it to cook our own breakfast.

First off this is Extended Stay Deluxe? Not in my book!!! When we arrived I found a dirty black sock next to the end table. There are two
of us booked to stay and we were given one wash cloth, one hand towel and three bath towels! No glasses in the bathroom to rinse after brushing. There was something sticky all over the bathroom cabinets, which I wiped down. My husband had to clean the sink trap so water would drain, and also that faucet was plugged so he took the screen off. Also, trying to open closet the door fell off and the maintenance person came to fix it but took it and never brought it back! The bed was the most painful sleep I have ever experienced. The couch was no better. We are kind of stuck here for now since our house sold.
The breakfast that I saw consists of a mini muffin, coffee and cereal you can eat out of a cup! No milk or juice.
In other words I would never stay here again. I am thinking Motel 6 to be luxurious !!!

This is an ok hotel for the price. I have stayed here many times while traveling for work. The hotel has some issues when it comes to cleanliness and maintenance. For example, in the room I am in right now, the desk has a broken leg, there is a large stain on the carpet and the closet doors are missing.
There is another Extended Stay hotel in Bothell on the other side of the 405 freeway that is in better shape. The rooms are a little smaller at the other place, so there is a trade off.
If you are looking for a low rate, check out Priceline. I’ve found that you can get a room here for about $ 40-​$ 50 depending on the night, which is a decent savings off the $ 70 typical room rate. The Extended Stay across the street has similar rates.

This place smells funky. And the cooler makes a lot of annoying noise at night. This place really sucks. And the hiden bed smells so so so so bad! Like dog piss!

We checked out 2 days early, at 9 pm, because of a loud thumping noise in the room that we just couldn’t take anymore. It sounded like the person in the room above was jumping off the bed then running around the room. I originally thought it was a dog running around the room but there was nobody there. Plumbing?
The bedspread wasn’t clean.
Full Kitchen is a bit of an exaggeration. Adequate is better.
The staff was great. I think she was doing the best job she could do in a crappy job.

I just ended a three night stay at this hotel and am glad it was only three nights. I could not imagine having to wake up here every morning for an «extended stay». No maid service. Zero. If U want toilet paper or towels, you have to get them yourself. The «breakfast» consists of packaged muffins and instant oatmeal with no milk. Period. Not even juice. It is remodeled but still depressing. The only redeeming factor is it is cheap. As well it should be for what you get. Be sure to look over your bedding before getting in the bed. Nasty brown stain on the blanket. Not sure if it was chocolate or something else??? Dirty, full ashtray on shelf in closet. Like I said, maid service sorely lacking.

We had an ant infestation in our room and was given a be our guest pass for another hotel night. The staff was courtious. I used my BOG at the extended stay in Sacramento California and have decided never to stay at another extended stay again based on that night. Please see my review I’m about to write on the Hampton inn HOLLA!!!

I stayed here for two weeks when I relocated to Seattle.
It’s basic, but clean, quiet, reasonably priced, and centrally located to a lot of places. The kitchen was basic but complete, with a full sized fridge. The bed was comfy. I don’t think I ever sat on the couch, but it looked like a typical hotel couch.
This hotel is located on the edge of a large commercial/​industrial park that clears out in the evening. It’s a great location for folks who like to run or bike after work, also close to the Interurban Trail.

The hide-​a-​bed was much more comfy than the queen bed in the room.
(put the hide-​a-​bed mattress on the bed and you’ll be fine

If you want new towels, you’ll be picking them up at the front desk.
This place is nothing special, i’d stay there again for sure, its close to the freeway and grub. what else do you really need for a couple nights stay? stop being so damn complicated and prissy.
