Hilton Garden Inn Seattle/Bothell

Had to find a hotel last minute when visiting in town. We travel a lot and have high standards for cleanliness and customer service. We we very pleased to find both at this Hilton. Yuri at the front was wonderful and addressed our needs. People like her will make us want to stay there again.

When we fly Seattle or to Bothell, which is about bi yearly, this is our choice for over a week to even a 3 week stay.
This past 2.5 weeks, we were here and also a moderately physically handicapped relative also stayed here in a special room set up for visually handicapped. My only complaint here is not with his room, but the distance from the elevator to room 216; the room is down a long hall and around the corner of a shorter hall. Since he is 85 and walks slow, it took a while for him to reach his room. He liked the fact that his room had a walk in shower, a large bathroom and was ADA compliant.
They also have other ADA compliant rooms; some closer to the elevator.
There are other hotels and also a longer staying choice close to this HGI; here is what I like about this particular hotel: very helpful staff.
The night desk man, Brian, had to deal with an irate customer during a fire alert that occurred during our stay. The fire alarms went off at about 2 am on a Saturday. Most people at the hotel, including a wedding party, went downstairs via the steps.
As per the protocol, the fire department was called or they were alerted and were at the hotel quickly.
There actually was no fire, but there was something that the fire department needed to check in one of the rooms .
Since so many of the people had exited their rooms in a hurry (the alarms are very loud), many had left their keys in their rooms.
The crux of it is not only did Brian handle this situation well, he felt so bad about people being inconvenienced by the alarm, he gave out free breakfast tickets in the lobby to those who wanted them. (probably upper management wasn’t pleased with this, I later heard from Brian).
Having the fire alarm go off was upsetting to many, and some customers were upset with Brian. Frankly, he handled the very rare situation with a reassuring manner. He had to repeatedly tell patrons who called the front desk that this was not a fire, and try to reassure the disgruntled sleepy and some angry guests who were waiting for the «all clear» from the fire department. The whole event took less than an hour, from the start of the fire alarm to when we were allowed back in our rooms .
Had this actually been a real fire, it would make sense for the ADA visually impaired room to be at a nearby exit closer to the stairs.
When people are in stressful situations, some behave in ways they normally wouldn’t. I give kudos to Brian in this high stress fire alarm situation, and am glad that it was not any real fire; but the man whose room was affected by a computer glitch was quite upset, and he took his anger out on Brian.
As far as other staff, the morning staff who do the breakfast are all very helpful, and they appreciate a tip, just as any waiter or waitress would .
One note here. Some hotels have coffee set up all day long for customers. This is not the case (though you can get coffee later, it’s not complimentary)
This hotel usually will offer cold lemon or fruit water in the lobby, and breakfast service ends at 10 am weekdays, and 11 am on week ends.
They do some catering of events and meetings, and apparently even wedding receptions and other social events and or business meetings.
Let’s talk about price. It’s comparable in cost to the Marriott, and not much difference in price to the nearby Comfort brand hotel.
There is a parking garage in the basement level, and I always felt safe parking there. It is very well lit.
For people who are members of the rewards or the points program, depending on which level, HGI offers a complimentary full breakfast, with all kinds of choices of breakfast foods.
If you aren’t Hilton honors guests, the full breakfast here, currently, costs close to 13 dollars. A full breakfast could consist of eggs, omelettes, breakfast meats, oatmeal, fruits, yogurt etc. also waffles, pancakes, juice, coffee and typical breakfast breads. For a busy business person who is on an expense account, this may be a good deal .
For a family with younger children, or those who want to go out for the morning meal, there is nearby a jack in the box, a nearby café, and down Bothell Everett highway, a nearby QFC food store with a Starbucks close by. The café is within walking distance.
We like to get a junior suite so that we can have extra space and a comfortable small love seat can serve as an extra bed, if we need it.
I like the bath soap provided by the hotel, but with Seattle being very earth friendly, I usually provide my own shampoo etc .
Cleanliness and bed comfort are the two main things that I require of any hotel. We have never had issues at this hotel.
We will be back !

Getting there: The address says its on Bothell Everett Highway, but it is tucked behind Bonefish Grill and Outback Steakhouse.

We had a great time at the Hilton Garden Inn/​Bothell thanks to Paul who checked us in & made are stay great! We arrived late & he made it smooth & easy. There are several restaurants in the area, some even walking distance. They have a shuttle if you need to go somewhere nearby (ex: grocery store, ect) There is an all you can eat breakfast for $ 12.95 til 10am weekdays or 11am on weekends. The area is greats lots of things nearby to do. All of the staff was great & very helpful.

As a Hilton Honors Diamond member usually my «go to» chain of Hiltons is the Hampton Inn. However having experienced an amazing stay at another Hilton Garden Inn (Downtown Denver) and a bad experience at the Hampton Inn in Lynnwood I decided to give the Hilton Garden Inn Seattle/​Bothell a chance during a recent stay. It was a decision I don’t regret!
Given I visit the Seattle area at least 4 times a year to engage in some outlet shipping and visiting friends, I had watched this hotel built over the period of many visits. I will say for those that do not know the area the location can be rather difficult to get to. Especially if you do not turn in where the entrance to the strip mall is. Traffic can also make it a bit difficult during peak times as the area can be heavy with congestion.
Upon arriving the front desk welcomed me warmly and I was pleasantly surprised to find myself upgraded to a corner suite. I was a bit nervous at first given the room faced the 405 but over the course of my stay did not have any difficulties at all with the noise. In fact I was so enamored with the particular room I was in that I will be requesting it from now on. Room 302 was a corner suite and the largest they have. In fact it includes 1 ½ baths and is nestled at the end of a hallway near the back stairwell that was not widely used.
Since I am a Diamond member I do get the breakfast buffet free of charge so I tried it out several times during my stay. The attendant was always very friendly and the service prompt. The fruit was fresh and several things made to order. The big test would be would I pay for it if it were not complimentary? Indeed I would. Additionally I found the housekeeping to be top notch. On one particular day I arrived back at my room and found housekeeping service the room. So as not to scare her I announced myself to let her know someone else was in the room with her. I was met by a very friendly staff member with a great sense of humor. When a housekeeping staff member tells you that they enjoy their job there that is a sign of a well run business.
I didn’t have time this go around to try out the exercise room. But given The Hilton Garden Inn Seattle/​Bothell is now my «go to» hotel for all of my future stays in the Seattle area, I will be utilizing it in the future. Underground garage, accommodating and welcoming staff, clean grounds and rooms. What more could you ask for? It was just that good!

Great experience! It’s a beautiful hotel, friendly service there are some great restaurants in the same plaza and the front desk gave us coupons for the restaurants nearby. Cleaning service is on point. They also have a shuttle service that may be closed on Sunday’s but it’s nice during the week. :)

I want to first start off by saying it was a really nice hotel.
With that said I did not use that many amenities while I was there. But I did take a free newspaper every day in the morning that was a nice feature. But the reason I did not give five stars was because I didn’t use much there to be able to give a more detailed review. But we did get breakfast there which was not a free Continental breakfast which was disappointing with the price of the room. But for a waffle which we made ourselves and a small glass of juice and a small Danish which we got ourselves it was 16 bucks. So after that one time we didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel any more. But the rooms were nice and they have a knob on each side of the bed to custom set how soft or firm you wanted it. I’m old fashion I like a traditional mattress. The bathrooms were big and sheets where nice so with the breakfast and the room I have to give it four stars

This hotel is a little hard to find at first, even though you can see it from the highway. You have to drive through the parking lot of a little shopping center to get there. They need to improve the signage from the main road.
We got a junior suite because it was only $ 10 more and we really liked the layout. The sitting area is separate from the sleeping area which is really nice if one person wakes up in the middle of the night or gets up earlier than the other. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The only minor downside was that there was not really a table to sit at, just a coffee table.
The staff is very nice and very helpful. Well-​stocked little snack and sundries shop in the lobby. Free continental buffet breakfast and a great made-​to-​order breakfast for a little extra money, which is a nice option that many of these types of hotels do not have.
We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here a couple of nights ago and tonight. The rooms are clean and bright and modern. Good size rooms with tv mini fridge and microwave. Right off of 405 which connects to i5 north or south. Seems far from seattle but it isn’t unless you are traveling during rush hour. We are locals to this area and very highly recommend this hotel. Lots of good restaurants nearby inc outback bonefish and grazie. Enjoy !

It was kinda hard to find the entry to this hotel, we had to go around to find it.
I stayed 1 night at this hotel and it was a great! The staff was friendly and helpful. I went there with my family (4 of us) and we ended up got another room for free since the room that we booked was not an accessible room. The room was clean, I would recommend you to stay here.

My favorite hotel in Bothell. I’ve stayed there multiple times in the last few months and it is always a pleasure. Staff is always friendly and more than accommodating.
Add the great breakfast downstairs, nice dinners offered and a full bar, you don’t need to leave if you don’t feel like it!
Laundry is available on-​site and the jacuzzi and salt water pool are very refreshing after a hard day!

Clean, with working amenities. However, beds were so hard! And they did not have special accommodations prepared, in spite of the specific reservation we made in advance.

Upon arriving I was greeted with a smile by the woman at the front desk. Check in was simple. My room faced the freeway and if I opened the window the noise was a bit overwhelming, but the ac and heat worked perfectly, so I didn’t need to open the window.
The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. I was in a suite and it was beautiful.
I could hear the cars going by when I turned off the tv to sleep, but for me, it wasn’t an issue. For some it may be.
The pool is small, but nobody was in it… so great for my daughter. It is salt water.
I enjoyed my stay. I’ll be back.

We had our wedding celebration here and can’t say enough about what a fabulous job the whole staff did to make such a great event! From the initial planning to the evening of our party, everyone one was so fun to work with. Crystal, the Catering & Sales Manager had such great ideas & was so easy to work with, Jay, the bartender & audio/​visual guy was also helpful with making our slideshow a hit & made really good drinks. Christina was so helpful with all the details of signage & our guests reservations. Finally, Peter, the chef odd an excellent job with our food choices, keeping it filled & going all night long. The value for all we got was unbelievable & doesn’t come close to other wedding venues which are so pricey.

A great hotel at the back of a strip mall area near Woodinville. Everything you’d want in a hotel — breakfast, pool, nice room, bar, lounge, etc. Great place to stay.

For the money this is a great hotel! Very clean. 24 hr pool and spa. Breakfast. Free wifi. Shuttle can take you around town for free. Very nice staff. What a great place and we weren’t expecting it to be so nice for $ 129 a night and with all of the amenities.
Jets in a big tub. Kuerig coffee maker and coffee in room.

My sister and I recently had a great stay at this particular Hilton. The staff was very accommodating and personable, the room was spotless, and the location is great due to all the restaurant options conveniently located next door (The Outback, Bone Fish, Jack in the Box, Arby’s and a few more).
We stayed in a king suite which was nice because the sitting area & bedroom was separated by a small kitchenette (w/​a Keurig coffee maker) and the bathroom. We were very comfortable all in all but I do have a few things to point out such as the noise level — it’s true the hotel is quiet but if you like to sleep w/​your window slightly open then you might want to ask for a room that doesn’t have a window facing 405.
Also, we saw a sign in the elevator that said you could adjust the beds to your personal comfort level but there was zero info about it in the room and the employee we asked knew nothing about it. There is a great underground, single level parking garage that is lit w/​plenty of light and you can only get in the door leading to the hotel elevators with your room key card so it was safe and secure. However, because it’s only one level, it fills up fast so if you get in late you might be parking outside for the night. Lastly, our Keurig didn’t work and I had bought a box of K-​cups because I love my morning coffee but luckily I have a Keurig so they won’t go to waste :)
I would have to say it’s probably the nicest hotel in the area but it is somewhat of a hidden treasure because its tucked away behind The Outback Steakhouse so don’t be discouraged if you don’t immediately find it; once you find it you won’t be disappointed!

I wish it was my room so I can just wrap myself up in the bed and stay there alllll dayyyyy mmmmm.

Very clean and nice hotel with new furnishings. Really comfortable bed, Bath Body Works shower amenities, free wifi & free parking! Adjacent to many restaurants and cafes — very convenient!
The access could be a bit confusing if you visit the hotel for the first time.

I stayed here for business and was quite impressed with the facilities and service.
The facility is very new. While the Fitness Center was small, the equipment was very new and machine selection was good. Each unit has an attached TV that hooks into a satellite feed so you can view what you like while you work out.
The Front Desk staff was courteous and expedient with the check in process. It was nice that they pointed out the underground parking as it was pretty cold out.
As in the other reviews, if it’s your first time here, you do have to maneuver through the strip mall parking lot to get to the Front Lobby.
Overall a good experience.
