Boulder Creek Pizza & Pub

They lose a star for pricing, but the food at the pub is always fresh and amazing the people who work there are great and I just can’t say enough nice things I just wish that sometimes they would have some specials or maybe offer a coupon or two.

The pizzas are really good. Only thing is they charge way to much for extra toppings and you don’t quite get what you paid for or I would give more stars.

Seriously the pizza is so good. Better than: papa murphys, round table, pizza hut, mountain mikes. BY FAR. Beats all of those places by a mile. Delicious food & friendly staff! Order from here probably once a week!

Alfredo pasta is delicious! my family and I always eat here and have never had a bad experience. very friendly staff and happy customers. it’s a great family enviroment

The BBQ chicken pizza is the best I’ve ever had and their jalapeño and cheese bread twists are also awesome. Would recommend to anyone.

Since my discovery of this place I’ve been back several times. Things have not been the same.
We’ve gotten pretty much the same thing each time because we liked them so much. The pizza has had good days and bad, but is the most consistent. The sandwich slowly has become almost inedible. I was hoping on our visits it was just a different crew or an off night, we all have them. However now it’s about half the size, hardly any chicken on it and burned each time.
Our latest visit was topped off with them being out of at least two kinds of beer. At that point we just ordered wine.
I may give it one last try, but I would only recommend them for pizza delivery and that’s it at this point.

So I ordered a pizza from these guys a few weeks ago for delivery and a hour and a half later called to tell me they don’t deliver to my area. To say the least, I was most displeased. My wife wrote a bad review because of the terrible (non) service we received. The next day the owner called to explain the mistake and assured me that he had confidence that his pizza would not disappoint. He offered me a free large pizza of my choice the next time I wanted to come in.
Last night I took advantage of that free pizza, and wanted to report about it:
Not only was the staff very polite and helpful, they were in a great mood. Greeting every customer, offering specials and condiments to every patron. the pizza was cooked perfectly, and quickly. I got the FarmStand and a Kung Pow Pizza. The FarmStand is a veggie/​gluten free pizza that not only did NOT taste gluten free, the veggies were delicious and very fresh.
NOW… the Kung Pow pizza is the best Cod Dang pizza Ive had in a very long time!!! sweet, spicy, freekin delishh!!! I highly recommend the Kung Pow but I look forward to visiting again very soon to try some of their other creations.

Pizza was great. The garlic twisty bread things are even better. Service was the best. Justin was a super star. Such a great hidden gem.

I’d give them zero stars if I could. I placed an order for delivery after 6 today (Thursday) to Felton. I received A call at close to 730 telling us that our delivery driver was on the way. Five minutes later we received another call that our pizza could not be delivered. We confirmed that we just got a call from the driver and asked that they call us back when they figured out if deliver to us or not. We got a call back another five minutes later saying they could not deliver a pizza. They said they can refund our money or we could come pick up the pizza but did not offer to actually deliver the pizza that was scheduled to be delivered at 6:45.
I attempted to keep my business local but will be ordering from Round Table from here on out. This was a pathetic attempt at service.

Let me start by saying this is fantastic pizza and kids working the counter are friendly. Why then, dear Unilocaler, does this place earn 2 stars?
First reason; the pizza is grossly overpriced. Large pizza pies run approximately 25 dollars and can feed 2 normal sized adults. The «personal pizza» size could hardly feed a toddler.
While I can forgive the pizza prices and the dated décor (think Mountain Mikes circa 1980, complete with vintage broken Ms. PacMan ® video game in the corner and smelly carpet, the real reason for the 2 star review is the beer prices. A «pitcher» of beer is 18 dollars and these are joke pitchers… 2 pint glasses later and your «pitcher» is empty. This is a serious problem!
In conclusion; pizza is expensive but excellent but the joke «pitchers» are an insult to beer drinkers everywhere! This basically reeks of a tourist trap and should be remedied.

Best Pizza I’ve had in a long time. Came here after hiking 13 miles in Big Basin. They were fast and made our specialty pizza to perfection! Clean restaraunt, friendly employees, great tasting ingredients and not to mention, I overpaid and the clerk gave me my change. When I insisted that he was giving me too much change he explained that I gave him $ 50 not the $ 30 I had thought. Honest employees too! This place rocks !

They always get our order right, pizza is hot, the toppings are always fresh and the staff is consistently professional and friendly. It’s pizza. You can’t really ever get it wrong, can you?

Had four pizzas delivered for a party. Not as good as i remembered. They all seemed dry and overcooked.

Above all else, my favorite pizza place in Santa Cruz county.
Not sure why they call themselves a pub, it’s really just a pizza place that sells beer, but a damn good one. Used to be a round table but when they went independent they got even better.

This place rescued me in a somewhat desperate situation needing to feed 50 people when my original plan fell through. With just a couple hours notice, the manager helped me plan a menu and agreed to drive the pizza out to Little Basin Campground since it was a huge order. Awesome service. They were right on time and provided all the paper goods we needed. Now that is service.

Ugh can I just say that this is the best pizza I have ever had? We are frequent customers and I just have to sing the praises of Boulder creek pizza and pub! Every pizza I have had is fantastic and we are currently hooked on the Loch Lomond luau (chopped cashews would make this pizza)
We love when they have a seasonal menu too. The twists are great, skip the Mac n cheese bites. Great selection of beer on tap.
The slightly higher prices are not enough to bring them down a star. You get what you pay for and the pizza here is worth every penny!

Since moving to Ben Lomond from NYC in October, I’ve been on the search for decent pizza. Tonight, we tried Boulder Creek Pizza and Pub. I guess my search will have to continue.
The sauce tasted like watered down tomato paste with artificial sweetener added. The cheese had no flavor. Worst of all, the crust was seriously undercooked. It was only slightly darker than raw dough. I’m shocked to see 5 star reviews, maybe it was an off night.

This is my absolute favorite pizza place. I live in San Jose and I will gladly make the drive to Boulder Creek for this place. Besides the pizza being delicious, the guys that work there are consistently super friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is always really comfortable and relaxing. Every chance I get, I love bringing friends up there to check it out as most of them are usually not too familiar with this part of Santa Cruz County and so far they’ve all agreed that it was worth the trip! 5 stars for you guys! Thanks for being awesome!

Delivery was fast and the delivery guy was very nice. 1^st time trying this place and I loved it.

I missed the old Round Table but when I came in was happy to see the NEW BOULDER CREEK PIZZA AND PUB. I grew up in BC. I dont mind change — if its good. This place is great. I have never had a bad experience here. Have come here many, many, many times. I have had lots of really louse experiences in other places — but this place always seems to go out of their way to be helpful.
Plus — my daughter is super picky sometimes — for no reason. The manager I think gave my daughter a few things for free after we had ordered our Pizza’s, Salads, and a bunch of other things. Someone had walked up and ran right into her. Hitting her in the back and knocking her forward into the counter where she was filling her rootbeer. This man was not looking and barely acted as if he knew he ran over someone. The manager watched (I think it was the manager?!) and quickly came out to assist my daughter. I stayed back at our table just a few feet away to let her work it out with the manager. My daughter is bigger than me anyways.
Then they got her a new drink, said sorry for the customer and ushered him away. It was just a fluke but they handled it so great. I think they gave her some ice cream or chocolate milk for free. Im not entirely sure but it helped her tears feel so much better.
