When I first moved to Boulder I contacted AppleOne and they were wonderful! They made an appointment with me right away where Lindsay sat down to listen to what I was looking for in a position. At that point I filled out a bunch of paper work and left the office. Lindsay and Monica did a great job of staying in touch with me about my options. They were also not pushy about me accepting anything. Definitely be assertive and clear about what you want and do not want — AppleOne will work with you! Also, Rena’s cheerfulness was a treat whenever I called the office.

I came to AppleOne while in the middle of my job search, the results of which had been discouraging to say the least. The second I walked into the office and spoke with Monica Kennedy, she had a potential job lined up for me that was well-​suited to my strengths. Within six days, I had interviewed twice with the company and received an employment offer. This alone impressed me, but what made my experience at AppleOne truly exceptional was Monica herself. She took extra care to ensure that the job she recommended to me would be both challenging and enjoyable for me, and to this end she made sure to learn my personal strengths and professional interests. She is friendly and was a pleasure to work with. I would wholeheartedly recommend Monica to anyone who is struggling to find work in today’s increasingly competitive job market.

I stumbled upon Apple One in the middle of a very trying job search, and I’m so glad I did. The atmosphere of Apple One is great — all of the women in the office seemed to really enjoy their work, and were incredibly enthusiastic and welcoming. I worked with Erin, who was friendly, kind, and professional. She took a sincere interest in my success, gave me sound advice in regards to my resume and interview approach, and I felt that all of my questions were answered and needs were met. Unfortunately I went against what I’d read and heard about their reputation and found everything said about them to be true. This was a giant waste of time. I came on in August and filled out the enormous amount of paperwork necessary to «work» for the company. After a communication issue I was asked not to come up for an interview that I was in the lobby waiting for. Then I never heard from Monica again despite numerous attempts to reach her. I wrote the experience off, and was understandably surprised when 3 months later someone else from the office called regarding another opportunity. After a brief phone «interview» it was discovered that I had been working with Monica previously and would need to continue to go through her. I was told she would contact me, which she never did (big surprise).
I think this company must have a certain number of people they need to on-​board each month, regardless of actual placement. STAY AWAY.
