So we went here a few weeks ago, me being my hubby’s DD, while he got intoxicated. lol It was his boy’s night, so I was just the driver. My hubby’s «man friend» in the politically correct way as in he’s a «man» & a «friend» for those who don’t get it. Well we got the«Sausage Fest Platter» and it was DANGFANTASTIC!!! Yes the name for those with naughty minds will giggle. heeheehee I know I did. ;) Sausage Fest Platter ~ consists for 4 traditional &4 specialty sausages w/fries, kraut, red cabbage, giant pretzel w/cheese dip, 12 pierogies(6potato, 6 spinach/feta, w/sour cream &pierogi sauce. I LOVE the kielbasa, not a fan of exotic meats or buffalo think it was. Well we ended ordering another side of brat & keilbasa because 2 of us, myself is one, were still hungry! I also got a Pork schnitzel, which was ok this time around, but looked dehydrated smaller for some reason. Hubby them drank the boot beer, which I got pictures of. It’s a good thing I’m not a beer drinker or I’d have been tempted. As usual my go to drink when I’m the Designated Driver is a Virgin BM. I really do like this place, but Not a fan of going to boulder in general, though this place does break down my will power. lol We also got an extra pretzel because the guys really are all up on that carb crap. Not this girl, I like Meat more than anything. Service was Fantastic and our waitress was fast, on it and very personable and Pretty as well. It’s always nice to have a good lovely view when being served food. ;) IF you’ve not tried this place, you are Really cheating yourself out of some delicious food that’s hearty, well unless you’ve been to Germany than maybe I can understand, but this place is a must try bucket list place. Although it’s relative(derivative of relativism), those who are like me will agree.

When I «retired» from my current job, my fellow coworkers from the Boulder took me out at this place. Partyish atmosphere and great finger food to share with my fellow friends. Heard a lot of stories from events and parties that happened in this place! Beer selection is also very yummy!

Fun community tavern with friendly chill service, an amazing beer selection, and warm freshly baked pretzels with a wonderful array of mustards! Is there anything else to say?! Cheers!

Great German food, full liters of beer and a real German pub atmosphere. A little pricey, but it is downtown Boulder.

Love this place! Come Hungry and thirsty!!! Been here multiple times and the staff has always been excellent which is a reflection on a owner whom treats them well. I love the Beet Salad, the Big beers, the Pretzel and Mustard. If you can save room for it the deserts are always satifying.

Bohemian Biergarten is a nice noisy pub, which is what were after. It’s communal seating in the bar and you just grab your own seat. We went in with 3 people about 6:45 on a Friday and waited about 15 minutes for a spot. It was Oktoberfest season and they had a good selection of Oktoberfests available, both German and domestic. We were pretty hungry so decided to get a sausage platter. Don’t recall the name but it had 4 sausage varieties plus a pretzel-wrapped sausage, a bunch of pierogies, couple of different sauerkrauts and a big bowl of fries. It was a lot of food, probably the right amount for 4 hungry people because we had some left. It was all very good. We especially liked the white sausage. At about $ 50, it was a lot of food at a good price. The service was very good, especially considering how crowded it was. Definitely recommend Bohemian biergarten for good sausages and beer(biers!) in a loud, friendly, communal pub setting.

Great beers and sausages(as well as other food). I will often come here after a long bike ride on a Sunday and get their beer and sausage special. The sausages, which are all awesome, come with fries, sauerkraut and some pretzel bread and are fantastic. If you go, you have to try the homemade mustards, they’re quite good. Also, they have trivia nights, which are well run and well attended. They used to be Tuesdays, not sure if they are anymore, but worth trying out.

I would like to start by saying the only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of the service. The service to begin was VERY slow and took about 8 mins before the server even showed up to our table(of 2). However, once the server came by everything went as aspected. The beer is fantastic and the food is epic! This is authentic Czech food you expect to eat if you went to the CP and not a random high end restaurant in downtown Denver. The food is fresh and authentic to the core! The Prost Oktoberfest is among the best beers I’ve ever had the pleasure of drinking and I am a beer snob!

So I definitely have a love hate relationship with the Biergarten. I’ve had some pretty unpleasant run-ins one of the bartenders and my foodie sensations aren’t wowed by the food but by the insistence of friends I always seem to end up here at least every few months. I agree with one of the previous reviewers that the crowd can be a mixed bag too. That aside — their backroom is a great place to have a private party. I’ve never hosted one there so I don’t know the cost involved but I’ve been to a couple and the room lends itself well to keeping the party contained. The one really cool thing I like about this place is their Sunday night comedy show. I was here with some visiting family this past Sunday which just happened to be their Crom Comedy Festival. The cover was only $ 3 a person so we decided to stick around for the show and were thrilled that we stayed. The comedians were hilarious — my favorites that night were Ismael Loutfi, Greg Santos, and CJ Toledano. The host, Brent Gill, was great about keeping the show moving too. if you’ve never been to one — I highly recommend it! The show happens every Sunday night at 7pm and their 2 year anniversary is coming up on 6÷14÷15! Check ‘em out!

Great beer, but a sexist business. I love the atmosphere and their beer but I’ve going since they opened and I’ve never once seen a female bartender. Go to any other bar on pearl and there’s women working the bars equally but go here and women are only cocktail waitresses. Also the bartenders are often rude, as I had the experience multiple times of them throwing my change at me because it was a busy time.

You’d think that having recently returned from a trip to Germany, I’d be tired of eating sausage and drinking German beer. Well, it’s awfully presumptuous of you to think that. You don’t know me. In fact, I was pretty happy to find this place just a block from my hotel, the perfect easy dinner option after a long flight from the east coast. The place isn’t exactly brimming with ambiance, slightly dingy but I guess you could charitably say it has character, and it’s probably not so different from an actual Bavarian beer hall. The long communal tables mean you can make a new friend or studiously ignore your neighbors, depending on your mood(or theirs). Our server was friendly and our beer and food came out quickly, just what you want in a place like this. The beer selection is decent if not extraordinary but the sausages are darned tasty, and my weisswurst/knackwurst combo with crispy fries washed down with half a liter of dunkelweizen hit the spot. Our warm pretzel with cheese sauce for a starter wasn’t half bad either. Overall, a great place for a beer and some hearty fare, even if the restaurant itself isn’t winning any beauty contests.

Yawn. Beer’s OK, but this bar is pretty consistently full of jerks. Bartenders are jerks, servers are jerks, even the customers are a little iffy. I don’t honestly know why people are so crazy about this place. The bartenders are borderline incompetent(one actually gave my credit card to someone else once). Seriously, the service is straight up rude. I think they do it on purpose. If you are a tourist looking for the«Boulder feel» I’d say go somewhere else. Pearl Street Pub for example!

On our accidental trip to Boulder, and many beer stops later, this was my favorite spot. I suppose because it’s different — with so many local craft beer options, it was nice to just have a good olé dunkel or hefeweizen. AND they have das boot! The place came recommended by several locals who were so kind to point us to the right direction in our search for the next cold one. We happened to be there during happy hour, when they offer discount on beer($ 1 off 0.5L, $ 2 off 1L — however I didn’t see the bill so I don’t know how much they were). A nice couple sat down next to us, and they ordered a bunch of food and they all smelled so good. And the boiled pierogi tasted fabulous(yes, they offered me one and I would never say no to such kindness). The potato pancake looked perfectly cooked — golden brown and crispy. Happy hour time(3 – 6:30pm daily) comes with a $ 12/$ 14 special for a 0.5L beer plus food(sausage/small palte or special sausage) Definitely worth a stop!

Such a random but great place in Boulder. Really good selection of beers and the front definitely is very true to its«biergarten» name. The random part comes when you wander towards the back — karaōke? It was awesome in a very weird way, but awesome nonetheless. Definitely recommend as a late night spot to grab the last few beers of the night. :)

Mediocre food + horrible customer service by manager = #dontgohere Seriously, based on the way my friends were treated by their manager, this business does not deserve any support from our community until their daytime female manager is let go.

Overpriced food. Sausages, kebabs, and the like ALWAYS come burned, or what they would probably call«charbroiled». I consider burned and I had to pick off the burnt bits. Potato pancakes are limp and lack crisp, except on the very edges. The pierorgies are doughy and taste like they came out of a freezer. The only thing I liked about this place was the pretzel.(though it was black and overcooked) That’s truly it. And that was overpriced too. And they forgot to give me their special«homemade» mustard. They also mislabeled the majority of the boxes. I got the kebabs and the tzatziki sauce had a HAIR in it. It wasn’t a long hair, but it was the size of a pubic hair. That is enough to make me NEVER want to order from here again. I don’t like giving negative reviews but if there is a HAIR in my food, it’s going on Unilocal. Maybe I should be grateful they forgot to include their special homemade mustard, in case they put pubic hairs in there as well.

Amazing sausage. Don’t remember what it was called but it came with delicious fries and piping hot sauerkraut. Although I wasn’t drinking, the selection of beers was awesome! Came by myself and sat at the counter but felt I was with family. Music perfectly fit the ambience. Wish they’d open in LA!
