So this place has the best fruit pizza in the world. But they know it’s so popular and they never stock them. Also the customer service is awful. The girl at the front register is a b-word. Didn’t want to make me a fruit pizza cause it would take to long and in general just had a nasty attitude. So this place is great for the pizza but almost not worth coming for the people

A true Boulder establishment! Every time I go there I wish my stomach was big enough to fit all of the cookies. Service is awesome and it seems like a fun place to work!

I have an unyielding sweet tooth & I’ve become hooked on the brownie sundaes at Boulder Baked. They are SOGOOD. The service is great – friendly and quick. The sweets are simple and delicious. And they are open late! That’s just about everything I need in this type of location. If you’re looking for one of those pretentious, upscale«dessert bars» this isn’t the place for you. It’s just a bunch of simple, sugary goodies at a decent price. College students rejoice.

We died and went to heaven!!! The Kona cookie, chocolate chip and oatmeal were amazing! Omg, eat them as soon as they come to your table before someone steals yours!!!

Boulder is a really great town in one of the nicest parts of Colorado. I went here around the time my best friend was dating this really, really complicated and annoying girl named Amanda. Anyways, we planned a long drive to Boulder and funny story is– she ditched us and she got lost. After not finding her for ten whole straight hours, we were exhausted, deluded from the heat(it was actually in the middle of January night) and we got so tired from looking for this wench, we decided to stop by for some coffee while we phone the police to find this girl.(Or creature) we thought the café of Boulder Baked look amazing, cozy, warm and they had a lot of urban art on their wall. Oh my god, it was awesome. We entered in and found ourselves completely forgetting about this girl and went on to order some cupcakes, chocolate cupcakes and cookies! The cookies were assorted with different spectacular flavors. The coffee was amazing at the moment, the only major downfall is Boulder Baked left a few negatives on my list: The Racism! Dun dun dun! The whole time of our stay we were the only tan friends inside the bakery café, and literally everyone stared at us up and down. Everyone. Especially the college kids who happen to come around. They whispered a few racial slurs at us and then laughed about it with the cashier there and pointed at us. Horrible. I can’t mention the racial slurs on here of course but they said it. When our phone rang, everyone stopped and stared at only us and made long painful eye contact! We felt so uncomfortable and bullied, we left. The coffee made me sick for a long week after drinking it.(Remember I said it was delicious at the moment.) well, it was overall a 3 out of 5 mainly for the horrible atmosphere, for the staff not doing something about the racial slurs and the coffee making me sick. The desserts were amazing and I enjoyed the urban art as well as the restrooms were clean. Not everyone who worked there was bad though. I’m unbiased and maintain that way. But most likely will try to return for a second chance.

After a very filling meal around the corner, I was coaxed into Boulder Baked by one of my friends. I wasn’t disappointed! They have a huge selection of cookies that they bake for you while you wait — warm cookies; I needn’t say more!

I had these cupcakes at my wedding dinner and they were amazing! My guests were blown away by them and took a lot of the leftovers home! We had the lemon, German chocolate, Tiramisu and the Salted Carmel with Vanilla. Just delicious!!!

We did multiple cupcake tastings for our wedding, and Boulder Baked took the cake by a landslide. The cupcakes are SOGOOD. So good, in fact, that we have decided to have five flavors at the wedding: Snickerdoodle, Cookie Dough, Cookies and Cream, Chocolate Salted Caramel, and Pumpkin with Chai Icing. We couldn’t possibly narrow it down and can’t wait for the day our guests get to try them. Thanks to Kirstin for being so accommodating despite a super busy night!

Very yummy! The wait was a bit long but it’s worth it since they’re made so fresh! The gingerdoodle was to die for, and I also loved the chocolate chip explosion. I wish I had gotten more!

Cookies and cupcakes and ice cream, oh my! I had a group of friends in town and we had decided the theme to the trip(not gonna lie, the theme to every trip) was food and drink. We came here as our very last stop before getting them to the airport after a delicious meal at Pizzeria Locale. Between the group we got a few varieties of cookies, a couple sundaes and some cupcakes. While the cupcakes were good, there is no way I would ever get them again after having the tasted the delicious magic that is their fresh baked cookies. The only way you can possibly make those cookies better is to put them in a bowl piled with hot fudge and ice cream and, oh, look at that — THAT’S A THINGTHEYDO. I was already super full from our pizza feast but I did not care, I was shoving that sundae in my face like I’d never eaten food in my life. I will for sure be returning to make my way through the elaborate list of cookies until I’ve tried them all as I’m still kicking myself for getting overwhelmed and not seeing that they had a gingerdoodle until my order was already placed.

Gluten-Free AND Vegan options? Yes please! Recommended treat: Pumpkin Chai Cupcake.(Thanks, Boulder Baked, for being conscious of food allergies and ethical food choices!) I’m also a huge fan of their late night hours. Perfect for when a snack-attack hits in the evening… Plus, if you’re feeling extra lazy, you can order online and have your Boulder Baked goodies delivered. Why 4 stars instead of 5? The atmosphere is a little funky, but it totally fits in a college town. Strange décor with psychedelic art. It’s not exactly a place I’d want to hang out in for hours, but it’s an easy location to drop in and pick up a dozen gluten-free, vegan peanut butter cookies. DELICIOUS!

You’re on Pearl, it’s late, you’re out and about, a little under the influence, and hungry. Well, friends, you’re on the right track to finding Boulder’s little late night bake shop that offers countless snacks and foods to cure those late-night munchies. Their cookies($ 1.75) are baked fresh upon ordering. They are a bit on the sweeter side, but are soft and melt in your mouth. They also have humungo cupcakes and other desserts that look yummy. Their grilled cheeses are pretty fantastic here, too. It’s a bit on the oily side, but ’tis what makes it delicious. Melty cheese, basil, and tomato between two soft, yet crispy bread. Win.

This is a nice little bakery in the middle of pearl. It offers a large assortment of sweets to satisfy any sweet tooth. The cool thing is that when you order cookies they actually bake them fresh for you(meaning the cookies arent premade). This means fresh, warm, delicious sweets. I recommend the cookies for sure. There is a large selection to choose from, so be ready to have options. Lastly, I would just like to note that their carrot cake is mediocre

Outstanding cookies, always very friendly environment, the staff seems to always be having a great time. The cookies are made fresh to order, so it takes a lot longer than if they were all premade, but that makes them always warm & tasty, as well as being able to offer a wide variety of choices.

These are the best cupcakes I have ever had in my life. The cream cheese frosting that comes on most of them is way better than the overly sugary frosting you find on most cupcakes. The variety is top notch and I’ve loved nearly every one I’ve tried. The carrot cake is my favorite and my wife adores the german chocolate. We love them so much we had them make 200 cupcakes and 100 mini cupcakes for our wedding.

Went here after staying late at the office cuz I was feeling sorry for myself, dammit. After perusing aisle upon aisle of delicious cupcakes, ranging from cookie dough to lemon drop, I finally made up my mind and chose a strawberry shortcake cupcake. Oddly enough, one of the staff told me there was strawberry filling inside. There wasn’t. However, the cupcake was solid enough on its own to convince me to give this place 5 stars. Let’s talk about the cupcake. OMG, it was one of the best cupcakes I’ve ever had, and its simplicity(read: lack of filling) actually added to its greatness. The cake itself was moist and eggy on the inside but had a pleasant crust to bite through and had a similar flavor profile to yellow cake. I was overjoyed to discover that the frosting was whipped cream, as I’m not a huge buttercream fan. It was cool and not too sweet, even refreshing, and perfectly complemented the tart strawberry slices on top. It was the perfect pick-me-up after a grueling day of work. The shop itself is conveniently located right along my walk from work to the Broadway & Walnut bus stop, but I didn’t notice t until two weeks in as it’s kind of dark and blends into the other shops along the street. Nevertheless, I’m so happy to have found it and will definitely be going there regularly.

Open until midnight. $ 1.75 per freshly baked cookie! That’s pricy but the novelty of getting a really fresh & hot cookie late @ night makes the price worth it. I tried the ginger doodle(tasted like a soft & chewy ginger snap) & a chocolate macadamia cookie. The ginger snap was glistening because of the sugar. Both cookies were super thin and takes about 10 minutes to make. I also tried the apple pie milkshake with caramel sauce & a kitkat/Nutella milksHake. The apple pie shake had chunks of apple in it & the kit KAt shake had chunks of candy bar. Both were delicious & satisfying for late night drunchies. They offer other stuff like grilled cheese sandwiches & sundaes for those who aren’t interested in baked stuff. Other shake flavors were cherry, blueberry and banana.

The cupcakes here are very good, far better than average. Sweetie and I ordered a dozen different varieties to get the full range of experience, and not a single cupcake disappointed. The cake itself was very moist and flavorful for each variety, with a great texture and not too dense. The frostings were all very good and, with only a couple of exceptions, not too overly sweet. The whipped cream variety of frosting that came on two of the cupcakes(strawberry shortcake and praline) was wonderful– light and airy real whipped cream. Each cupcake is quite little. The cake portion is about 1.5 inches high and 2 inches wide. Not a problem, just an observation. It’s very nice to be able to buy a sweet treat that isn’t huge. The volume of frosting per cupcake is about equal to the volume of the cake, but, since most frostings are denser and thus heavier, each cake is noticeably top-heavy. If I had my way, the amount of cake would be 50% greater, and the amount of frosting would be 50% less. But I’m probably in the minority since most people seem to love lots and lots of frosting. Odd thing about this place. It is a cupcake, cookie, and lunch item type place, but doesn’t open until 4pm. Very odd, but the business model must work for BB. Perhaps the BB name gives some clue as to the target clientele ;-) The cupcakes are quite expensive, given their size. $ 3 for one, $ 30 for a dozen. I very much support businesses making a profit. That is kinda the point. But $ 30 seems steep.(Am I the only one who thinks $ 30 is still a whole lot of money? That was my entire weekly food budget when I was a graduate student, not that long ago.) Prices aside, do try a cupcake or two. A very nice treat! May 18, 2015UPDATE: Tried the 16 cookies and a quart of milk concept. Cute idea. The cookies were okay, but not at all worth the money. There weren’t anything special, simply mid-level food industry pre-made dough, scooped and baked when ordered. Spread out very thin. Only the oatmeal had any caramelization at the edges. The rest were soft, thin, and pale. The cookies from any grocery store bakery are at least as good, if not better, and far less expensive.

Any time I make the trek up to Boulder I can’t help to stop at boulder baked and grab a cupcake or 2 and some other yummy baked goods. I haven’t ever tried the cookies here, but I have tried a variety of the cupcakes(red velvet being my favorite) and the brownies. The cupcakes are so moist they could melt in your mouth. No place in Denver can compete with the products boulder baked puts out. It’s a good thing they are a 30min drive away or else I’d probably be 30lbs heavier.
