I had a root canal retreat with Dr. Klyn, as I was referred to him from my dentist. The first step was a consultation, so they took some x-​rays, and Dr. Klyn explained everything to me– what as going on, what my options were, and answered all my questions. Although it was a little scary, I knew it was a procedure I had to have done, and Dr. Klyn made me feel comfortable and confident in his expertise.
When I got the procedure done, Dr. Klyn explained what he was doing every step of the way and always asked if I was doing okay. Afterwards, he answered any additional questions I had and made sure I knew about my post treatment instructions.
Overall, I had a very pleasant experience (as pleasant as a root canal retreat can be) and would recommend going here if you ever need any type of root treatment.

I was referred to Dr. Parsons for a root canal. He is, hands down, the best dentist I have ever seen. During my initial consultation he was friendly, explained things clearly, and put me at complete ease. For the actual procedure, I was seen immediately, the doctor explained everything he was going to do, and then did a great job on my tooth. I had no pain; the entire thing took less than an hour; and I felt completely at ease the entire time.
If you have to have something as unpleasant as a root canal, Dr. Parsons is definitely your guy!

After checking out a painful tooth, my dentist referred me to Dr. Steven Klyn at Boulder Endodontics. It took a day of procrastination to make the call — who wants to voluntarily visit the office where root canals are the norm? I got an appointment for an afternoon two days in the future.
I called before leaving my office for the appointment and was asked to come 15 minutes later due to an emergency. When I arrived, I waited an additional 45 minutes to be seen. Now, I understand an emergency. What makes an office rate a 5-​star is when they proactively notify me about these situations. I would much prefer getting a call to delay my arrival even more than to sit in the waiting room — even if their view is the best in Boulder.
Dr. Klyn is outstanding! He keeps his voice low to provide some privacy in conversations because the work area is open. He explains everything well and even makes a point to say «know what I mean?» often. He explains all the options and also gives his opinion, which I appreciate. I’ll make the choice myself, but, by all means, let me know what you recommend and why! Prices are discussed up front. I really appreciate a relaxed, open professional in any business and that’s what Dr. Klyn is. A person that can talk at my level even though his expertise is light-​years beyond me.
