Be forewarned. If you decide to change dentists, they will charge you $ 20 to transfer your records and x-rays to the new dentist. And while $ 20 isn’t that much money, I object to the principal of it. At no point have I EVER had a dentist charge me to email x-rays and records. This is nickel and diming your patient, and is not disclosed up front. I have other concerns that Dr. Kupka recommends all sorts of additional and unncessary treatments. If you go here, make sure you manage your care and sign up only for what is necessary. One of my co-workers goes here and had the same experience. There are other dentists with better equipment, newer offices, and who don’t have nickel and dime policies toward their patients. Be warned. And as a follow-up, I asked to have Dr. Kupka call me to discuss this policy. To date, I’ve not heard anything back. I’ve now filed complaints with the ADA and the BBB. For what it’s worth, I’m having a mammogram soon. The old clinic made a DVD of my last mammogram and forwarded it to the new clinic at no charge. Now why would Dr. Kupka need to charge for doing the same thing? Baffling. And very poor customer service. Stay away.

Dr. Kupka and her staff are absolutely thorough and pleasant to interact with. You can tell they love their work and take it seriously. Not only is their work high quality, but they have a fantastic chair-side manner, which makes things much easier for squeamish folks like me. This year, I’ve been molded for a snore-guard splint, had a thorough cleaning, a cavity filling, and replacement of a broken crown(another dentist’s work). A wealth of information provided about proper care for the mouth and the snore guard, and why — info I had not gotten from my previous dentist. And although they are not«in-network» with my insurance, they do take care of insurance submission which makes reimbursement faster and easier. Regarding the snore guard — they really went the extra mile on this one. Such devices are notoriously difficult to get coverage for, but they stuck it such that I got the coverage. They also work with top-notch lab people(shout to Mike at Ortho Prosthetics in Berthoud) which made a huge difference — this is a much higher-quality device after two failed units from previous dentist & lab).
